    Poor quality, waste of money Doesn t look like the picture on the box/the lamp from the movie. The leg itself doesn t light up, and is a solid grey color that is unlike any human skin tone I ve ever seen. Thought it would be a funny gift, but the quality was so poor I don t think I ll give it. Waste of money. 1It's very nice! This is even nicer than I expected. I bought two, one for me and one as a gift. My reaction when I took it out of the cute box was, wow, this is really nice. Some reviewers didn't like it but I honestly can't see anything not to like. I have it in my half bath and it gives off a nice warm glow, very cozy feeling. If you love the movie and can't afford or don't want a full size leg lamp this is a nice alternative. 5Purchased one of these a few years ago for my ... Purchased one of these a few years ago for my dad. His beloved dog chewed it up. After she died, he kept thinking about how she chewed up that nightlight, but he couldn't even get angry at her. So I decided to buy him another for Christmas. Definitely brought a smile to his face. 5wanted to love it, but quality is poor for price My family loves this movie, so I was excited to get this funny nightlight to use at Christmastime; however, the whole leg is just grey instead of looking like there is a black fishnet stocking. The lampshade part is nice! If this was half the price I'd keep it, but I think it's expensive for how poorly executed it is. Bummed! 3Fun Product If you're a fan of the movie " A Christmas Story" with Ralphie and the official Red Ryder BB rifle, this is a must-have item. You can place this night light anywhere, and it doesn't require the commitment of the full size leg lamp in your front window. Plus, it still functions as a night light. 5Wish it had been picked sooner Darn, got it for a Dirty Santa gift exchange but it was the last present opened so no gauge on whether it would have been stolen. In my experience, the best aspect of the light is it's low distribution of heat. My 18 month old grandson started to grab the plugged-in light before I could get to him (it was plugged into an outlet close to the floor). While it was warm enough to cause him to pull back his hand...and thankfully leave it alone after that...he did not cry out in pain and best of all his fingers received no burns! 5White Elephant Perfection Most commonly stolen item during our family's white elephant gift exchange. Not only is it awesome that it is the iconic leg lamp, but it actually is a good night light; not just for show. 5
