    Smart design Having two output wires is smart. The gauge of the wires is bigger than another brand I bought earlier. 5Great value Awesome product 5RV Dometic Roof top AC Unit I was installing an Roof Top RV Dometic AC/heat Unit. Needed a converter/transformer from 110VAC to 12DC to get the control board work to power on the Unit. Found this Transformer and wired it up and the AC unit and thermostat powered up, and turn the AC unit on. it was music to my ears. Searched high and low for a good Transformer, found this was delivered in 2 days as promised. Works Great!! Now my 66 Airstream Roof top AC Heat is working. Great quality, great price. Would definitely recommend and buy another if needed. 5Note the last load exceeds the rated current and the unit handled it just fine! The voltage drop is not great but acceptable I bought this LEDMO AC adapter, model 1250, rated at 12V 5A as a part of the kit, with a warm white LED strip a few months ago. I was able to test it recently using a high precision volt-ampermeter and various loads ranging in 0 to 5A current.Here are the results of my measurements:12.6V with no load,12.2V with 1.8A load,11.9V with 3.1A load,11.8V with 3.7A load,11.6V with 4.5A load,11.4V with 5.2A load.Note the last load exceeds the rated current and the unit handled it just fine! However, batteries alone start at $200 and $270 for an ac adapter of which they never seem to have. Tried since Feb 2019 and waited until May 2019. Word was that their component/parts supplier was out of it. Anyhow, did some experimenting and came up with a solution using 12v, 3 amp ac adapters sold at Amazon. By merely constructing a small wood box in the shape of the missing battery and a few components you can save yourself more than $200 and have yourself a perfect alternative to the expensive OEM products. Hope you can follow the enclosed pictures. Basically, you just connect the positive and negative wires to the Lumedyne power pack using female spade connectors. You can make it nice and use an enclosure or none at all. I chose to construct a box 2.75" W x 6.75" L x 6.75 H because it was a lot easier to try out different ac adapters lying around my house. A 12v, 3 amp is good but the 12v, 5 amp device sold here is perfect. Unloaded voltage was at 12.30V while loaded capable was close to 10.8v the one recommended by Lumedyne. Tried using a LED strip light adapter rated at 20 amps which raised the unloaded voltage to 14.45v. Don't really want to chance it especially with expensive equipment. Otherwise, perfect match at a unheard off price.6/10/19: Just got my second one today. When it works, good to have a spare when you need one. 5Great power supply for led strip light projects This power supply worked great for a extra 5050 LEDs string I had left over from a cabinet project. I especially appreciated the long power cord. It helped with my installation. 5Really good value for a higher-output power supply My project required a higher-output 12VDC power supply, because I knew I was going to drive multiple circuits and a motor off it. This works as I hoped, and has the convenience (for me, anyway) of long cords (AC end and 12vDC end). My only complaint is that the AC end--which is unplug-able from the transformer itself) is looser than it needs to be in the socket on the transformer mini-brick. Not a really big deal, considering the price I paid, and easily remedied with a wrap of electrical tape. 5
