On the fence about returningPros:-Nice packing-LED diodes are in a nice, protected tube-Strip has adhesive-Simple set-up, easy to useCons:-Lights are quite dim, even when at the maximum brightness-The white has very noticeable hues of green and blue in it. It is not a pure whiteSummary:I had an LED strip from another company that went out of business. That strip broke, so I decided to buy this version from DayBetter. I've found two cons:I find that DayBetter's brightness is lacking. They're about 70% as bright as I'd like.The white is not a pure white. If you Google "tiffany blue" or "cyan blue", you'll get a good idea of what it looks like.I really need brighter lights and a white that is white. So, there's a high chance I'll be returning.I still would recommend this product to someone who doesn't need bright lights.4Kinda buggy Very colorful with lot of options, however the remote is a little confusing and didn't come with instructions for it. I ordered 2 of these and the buttons I press don't always correspond with the colors shown. I can press red and it will show green no matter which remote I use on which light strip. Also one of the strips will default to orange after a few minutes of being on a select color.Update: Both strips will now randomly flash and start fading in and out and while I'm trying to sleep with a soft red light, I'm suddenly jolted awake with strobe lights 3Great product and customer servicesIt's a really good product overall! However the customer service gives me fast response and send me a new one right away.Like both their product and services!5Really Nice lights!I built a big table with multiple layers to put reptiles fish and other misc. animals on and I used these lights to illuminate all the shelves by sticking them to the bottom of the shelf above it and it lit up all the terrariums perfectly. The only problem that I have if the sticky side doesn't stick that well at all. I had to glue the entire strip to the bottom of the shelves in order for them to stay attached. Other than that they are great lights. I also use them for a light at night because they light up my entire room but yet they are not to bright that my eyes have to adjust to much after I turn them on if I have been sleeping before hand.5Easy to installUsed it for back lighting on a wooden cross we made for our entry way. It was easy to install, connect, and cut for placement. The only downside was that the adhesive was not strong enough to hold onto wood, so we just need hot glue to help tack it down. Amazing product!5Great Product but the DIY let me feel confusedI love this product. However, I personally feel the DIY model let me feel confused I did it myself as the instruction and share with you how to set up. It would be helpful for you guys. if you can including below instruction, first press R ( or G/B) button on the remote let the color change to original state. Then press "DIY1" button ( just once). Now it is going to save color. Meanwhile, pressing 6 arrow key to adjust the color you want (hold on). Once the color has been saved. The other five keys are fixed in the same way. Bad thing is each "DIY" key can only save on color. At least, when you save all colors you wang, you can press "Quick" and "Slow" choose change speed.5LEDs are great, control works awesome, adhesive is junk.As stated in the headline, the lights are awesome the remote works really well, we can actually just point the remote ate the ceiling and it finds it's way to the sensor which is awesome. colors and brightness are great. I attached this to metal, should've stuck for a lifetime going on the claim that their adhesive is great. In all honesty it might have, but it seemed to be old adhesive or something because when you pull the layer of adhesive tape (blue strip) off it doesn't come off easily or smooth like for example 3M adhesive strips. I had to use scotch tape to hold some spots, but where the install is, this didn't affect it. There are a lot of of other applications that I would not use scotch tape, lucked out this time. I was disappointed because of how much they talk up the adhesive in the description.*EDIT, up for a week, all the adhesive has failed. went into son's room, all lights on ground except the small section I taped. Junk. Never buy this again.1Do not recommend I suppose if you only need pone will be ok. I purchased 3 sets to go around the ceiling of my bedroom. The directions for connecting them is terrible, I watched a few YouTube videos to get it. The splicing process is not difficult, but the connectors for the spliced ends is not very good. It took me a while to get two sets connected and color matching. As I am installing them I stop after the first set is up (just before the connector) to test them and half the first set it not working. Returning them all today! I bought 3 sets. 2Great as backlight for TVI bought this strip to use as backlight for my living room TV. I am very satisfied with the way it has worked out. The light intensity can be adjusted and best of all I was able to stick to the back of my TV without any issues.5
