MORE COLORS PLEASE!!! Considering the price, this is probably one of the best headlamps on Amazon. I've had mine for about a year now, and it has not failed me once. It does have to be charged periodically, because like others there's no indicator of it going dead, but it does tell when it's finished charging. Being off the grid I rely on it heavily, and when family members other brand headlamps are being testy, they're immediately asking for mine -_- I only wish they had more colors available, then I'd buy this brand for every family member! 5Exactly what you need! I was looking for a replacement for my usual battery operated headlamp.. this is my second usb rechargeable one I've tried and this is a keeper! Number one, it's all self contained in the lamp unit..the charging slot is right on the bottom.. no stupid battery pack on the side and then an extra cable running along the headband.. that's just completely unnecessary and just a dumb design anyway. This is perfect design in that regard. Second.. it's actually comfortable to wear! Third.. the all the functional buttons and charging slot cover port glow in the dark! And finally..the features. One button gives you a really good sharp bright spot, click is again and it's a little dimmer, another click and it's a strobe. The other buttom gives you red and a red strobe. So all in all, this is absolutely perfect for the price. Don't bother with anything else! 5He's pretty rough on things Got this for the boyfriend since he's got one on his head 24-7. Had the headlamp for about 5 months and finally got an issue. The rubber part of the button (that actually pushes the button underneath) has worn down or something. It's difficult to turn on now. Like to where I'd have to use my fingernail or he has to go look for a pen to turn it on. 3Great product with an unusual feature I've been searching for a while for a USB-rechargeable headlamp and there are remarkably few on the market at any price. The major outdoor brands, if they offer one at all, only do so well above the $50 price point with other features that I don't need. This lamp is more than bright enough for regular camping and household applications, and includes both white and red lights for preserving night vision, as well as a strobe mode which is great for use as a safety light. I've even used it as a nightlight for my dog in red strobe mode (fits his neck perfectly).The battery life seems to be outstanding. I don't know how long it is in hours but I've been able to use the light for weeks at a time without charging it; in fact I'm not really sure but I think I'm at over a month of using it a few nights a week and haven't needed a charge.It's not perfect. It lacks any kind of charge indicator, so when it does die I'm afraid I'll have little warning. I don't know how long it takes to reach full charge, sorry about that. It comes with a short cord which is a great length for a device like this, although I just use the USB car charger I already have for other devices. It would also be nice if it had a higher degree of water resistance.But for the price it's absolutely unbeatable. Minor gripe is having to go through, hi, then low, then blink - all before its off, but, doing it quickly is no big deal. I'm buying a bunch to stuff stockings with before they raise the price! :-)_ 5Great lights. Great durability I've bought so many of these I can't count, between 20 and 30 perhaps. We work at night. I give 3 or 4 to each mechanic. We've been using them for 2 years. None have failed. They tend to get lost though. The headbands have held up well also. I've installed 4 USB ports in each vehicle so they can keep all the lights plugged into charge. On full brightness, they'll last 4-5 hours.My only complaint is the beam is too focused (spot beam). A wider beam for up-close work would be useful. But, you quickly adjust. Without even thinking about it, you tend to turn your head to point the light where you need it most.I've tried 2 other similar lights with slightly different features (higher lumens, sensor where you wave your hand it turns on/off) and they were both annoying. 5... several of these at this point and am very pleased. I have one of the "hands-free" headlamps that has a sensor and turns on and off with the wave of a hand, but while it's a neat trick I find having the red light much more useful, both for preserving my night vision and not blinding my fellow campmates. I can charge these from any USB outlet - car, phone, battery pack. My only complaint is that when it's out of juice, it's gone, and it happens all of a sudden. It won't get dimmer as it runs out, which is something of a useful indicator on other AAA-powered lights. 5Very bright with long battery life! Bought this as I was tired of constantly buying batteries or charging AAA batteries to use in my regular headlamp. I have used this for about a week so far on the job and it lasts as long as advertised and the brightness is equivalent to my Energizer 250 lumen headlamp. Charge time is also as advertised and will charge by most all USB chargers (300 mA charge draw). The red lamps are nice for use during nighttime activities such as stargazing or night time photography and will not desensitize your night vision. 5Good for the money, good seller support. Worked great when I got it, and I got a good year's use of work out of it (probably 100+ hours of actual use and 30+ charging cycles) and was very happy with it. I am using it to work under and around cars, so it doesn't have an easy life. The first one then failed, which wasn't unreasonable given the price. When hearing that it failed, the seller reached out and offered me a free replacement, which is working great. I have three of these things now sitting on the shelf on the charger, and this is the one I grab (it has the best balance of good light and long battery life). 4really DELIVERS-----------------------------------------------------light this light is great, the company is even awesomer; I had this light for a while, much impressed by how it helped to lighten while cleaning & doing housework-freeing up hands, but then the light just conked out, it wouldn't charge or anything; since it worked past the common warranty period, I didn't even attempt to return or exchange it; the company read my initial review and contacted me with an offer to replace it without even returning the first one; they said it was most likely the lamp itself, had a fluke-poss.; that was really impressive, even more so in that the new one I received is working perfectly with no malfunction whatsoever; so, I recommend buying this, it'll do what you need to a tee and the company can be trusted and stands behind it 5
