    Light weight Convenient and light and love the belt clip 5Its Not Waterproof But Good For The Price Waterproof or Water Resistant?First off, the Product Information/Technical Details section claims its waterproof , but the Product Description states that its water resistant, but please don t put it into water . So, I went ahead and put one of the four lights I bought in a sink full of water with the head fully extended. I left it there for 15 minutes and then pulled it out and turned it on. The light still functioned but the head of the flashlight was full of water. After drying it off and letting the head of the light drain, I opened the battery compartment and there was a little water intrusion near the head end. After removing the lens/bezel at the front, I could see that the LED was not contained or sealed in any protective housing. Once I let everything dry out, I put it back together and turned it on; everything seemed to work fine.Battery CompartmentThe battery compartment is accessed by unscrewing the tail cap. It came loaded with a plastic cartridge that holds 3 x AAA batteries. The AAA battery cartridge can be removed, and a rechargeable 3.7-volt 18650 type battery can be used in its place. The internal diameter is about 7/8 , and there is a bit of a gap between the battery and the wall (about 3/11 ) but, its still works fine. I was a little confused about which direction the battery goes into the compartment since most battery powered devices I have use put the negative end of the battery on a coiled spring and the positive end on some type of flat contact. This light however, is the opposite. The positive end goes on the coiled spring while the negative end is orientated at the top of the tail cap.PerformanceWith the head pushed all the way in, for the wide-angle beam, its beam measured a little over 4.5 wide from a distance of 3 away. With the head fully extended, for the spot beam, the beam was about 3 wide and square shaped. The wide-angle beam brightness was fairly uniform throughout and was not too bright for close up work, while the tight spot-beam was very bright (well over the 500 lumens of the Surefire Fury P2X). The head of the light moves in and out smoothly and is a little wobbly.There are five modes to the light output; hi, medium, and low output along with a strobe and SOS. To cycle through the modes, click the tailcap switch to activate the light and then partially press the rear cap button to change the mode. The SOS and Strobe modes seems to be at the highest intensity.The included lanyard seemed adequate for the job of keeping on your wrist. I gave one of them a quick and firm tug, and it broke thinner part of the lanyard that connects through the small hole in the edge of the tailcap body.Considering the price, these lights perform great and are handy to just have around the house or in the car. I wouldn t rate them in a rugged or extreme use category though, and they are not advertised or priced as such. 3So bright!This has got to be the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. For the price point, this is a great buy. Word to the wise... do not look at this light to test how bright it is. I just tried that and now when I blink I see this burning little circle. Hope that goes away soon. Just take my word for it that it is really bright.I also really like the push/pull at the tip to narrow or widen the light output. The narrow it gets, the brighter it gets. Even when at the widest setting, it is still my brightest flashlight.5Awesome Flashlight -- espically if you use a Li-Ion rechargable batteryGood price, very bright, good quality, and would buy again. I've dropped my flashlight, got it wet, and even stepped on it by accident. It still works great. The only downside is if you use the AAA battery adapter instead of the rechargeable Li-Ion battery (what I run). The AAA batteries tend to dislodge from the adapter just enough to break contact. If this happens you have to open the flashlight and remove the adapter to reset the batteries. I've even tried running electrical tape around the battery pack to hold the AAA's in place -- but it doesn't really solve the problem. In my experience this is an issue with all flashlights that use a 3 AAA battery holder for power.5Bright Light with a bit of heft. I seem to have a collection of low cost LED flashlight's along with a few which sell for over $100. In the likelihood of a power outage in the area I live, I keep at least one flashlight in every room of my home. Most of my other flashlights are much smaller and can fit in a pocket very easy. This particular Hitech light is a bit larger and heavier than my other LED lights. With this light I may have sacrificed the convienence of size, however I like the feel of a larger flashlight in my hand. In addition to comfort the most important aspect of this light is it puts out 1000 more Lumens than my smaller light's. For a 1600 Lumen flashlight this ones a bargain. I've seen similar light's advertised for 6 times the cost as this one. This light may not be the same quality as one for over $100 but t seems to have some heft to it. The brightness is incredible compared to my little 600 Lumen pocket light's.I plan on ordering several more of these to keep in my home and vehicles for emergency use. I highly recommend this product! 5Good, but annoyingly gimmicky.Mechanically, electrically good, but the modes are annoying. You cycle through them by pressing the power switch. That pretty much renders the tactical strobe useless, except as a warning flasher.The medium and low levels I think are useless and I suspect they aren't actually lower levels but rapid strobing as they have that ghostly quality.If this light simply toggled between on and off, it would be a 5-star product.3These little things are great..These little things are great...Will light up an entire room if you loose electricity...which happens to us periodically...the size is small but powerful...got one in every room ...fits in purse..nite stand ..car ..I live out where there are no street lights and can see my neighbors house from across the rd...the Strob is awesome...like the battery size...a must have for all...a little tip..I buy Amazon batteries and always have plenty....check those out5BRIGHT AND COMPACTHICTECH MINI FLASHLIGHT TORCH. I own a lot of flashlight especially the tactical ones and I was really surprised how bright these mini LED lights are. In all you get the two mini LED flashlights. You can power your mini flashlights two ways, you can use a double a battery or a 14500 lithium -ion battery, I recommend the lithium battery because it makes your flashlight brighter and they last longer and they are rechargeable, so you will have to purchase a charger. The mini flashlights are rated at 300 lumens and have 3 modes with the zoom function. The mini torch comes with a nice belt clip or just put it in your pocket the flashlight is only 5.8 inches in length . Don't be fooled by the size of these flashlights they are very bright and constructed with the same aircraft grade aluminum as the bigger tactical lights are.5I originally bought them to stay safe while walking the dog after dark and they were PERFECT. I had no idea that a few weeks ...I was a little concerned about the small size of these flashlights, so was shocked at the light they produced. I evacuated and was stuck on the 4th floor of a hotel with no elevator. These small but very BRIGHT lights helped so many people navigate down the stairwells to the lobby. Afterward, the hotel staff borrowed them to get handicapped people off the the other floors. Many people took phone photos to go home and order them. I know for sure that I am ordering many for Christmas gifts. I rarely endorse products, but these deserved my 5 star rating and feedback. It is very bright and lights up a very large area or a pinpointed are using the zoom. It works as described. I also purchased four of the 18650 Batteries with charger. I also used 3 rechargeable AAA batteries in the supplied cradle while awaiting shipment of the 18650 batteries. All worked well. The strobe is very blinding and disorientating when you look at....you'll see spots for awile and thats enough top throw you off kilter for a bit. I would buy again...price is very reasonable .....hope it last a long time....a good buy!!!5Super Light Great light, veru powerful. It's the same light as seen on TV, but at a much lower cost. Has all the power of a much larger light, and can illuminate objects two hundred yards away in a dark environment. The strobe works great and is capable of blinding an intruder. 5Same Quality as More Expensive Torches, at a More Reasonable PriceHow nice to be able to find my black lab during a late night walk! This light is every bit as bright as it claims to be.I live in an area with no street lights, adjacent to a forest preserve and I have a black labrador retriever who likes to walk off-leash. What was I thinking? On nice evenings she likes to explore. But, of course, if she walks three feet away from me she completely disappears. This light has solved my problem. Now I can keep an eye on her and not worry that one of us has walked off and left the other.I love the idea that the light can be narrowed and intensified to focus on a specific spot. That addresses my other big concern. . . is that rustling in the brush a coyote, or worse yet, a skunk?! Now I can investigate from a safe distance.This flashlight is compact enough to fit in a shallow pocket or hold in one hand or between my teeth. It is as bright as a giant torch, but the perfect size for a woman's hand. The little wrist strap makes it easy to walk with the light in my hand without fear of dropping it. The light turns on easily with a button on the end and adjusts by pulling and turning the bulb. It is very sturdy and has a little weight to it, which I like.This light is exactly the same as others on the market - but at a more reasonable price. I would buy another.5Great flashlightWas not expecting such a well made flashlight for such a low price. The zoom feature for the beam is awesome.5Super Bright FlashlightBrought this flashlight for use at home in case of blackouts during bad weather. The good thing about getting this 2-pack was the ability to keep one in each of the bedroom. This way no one is walking around in the dark looking for a flashlight.The box it arrived in just had a picture of the flashlight on the top. When I opened the box the lights were lying side by side in a bubble bag. First impression there was a slight heft to the flashlight and also I noticed the strap that was attached. Strap was a nice touch since it allows me to hang it from the wrist when needed.Even though I like the option that this accepts both the 18650 lithium battery and also AAA batteries, I only plan to use the latter. Installation of the battery was pretty easy. I unscrew the top cover to reveal the AAA battery holder. Once I installed the battery the flashlight just works when I press the power on button.To note there's 3 brightness level and then also a SOS and strobe lighting function. I don't really need the latter two lighting at home but it was just nice to have in case I did. The light was pretty bright and to determine how wide a light I have, all I have to is pull the flashlight head forward. Overall, pretty impressed with how bright the flashlight is.5
