    CAUTION: CAUTION: These are VERY addictive!! I have now ordered and installed more than 6 sets of these in various locations around the house and work. Anywhere and everywhere there is a dark corner or an area that needs a little more lighting or accent lighting. Under kitchen cabinets (top and bottom), inside built ins, entertainment cabinet, around bathroom mirrors (wife LOVED this!!!), in my workshop and, one of my favorites, underneath my bed and behind the headboard as accent lights ( really sets the mood nicely). I'm plotting on several other places to install some of these lights.They're so easy to install! Simply peel and stick wherever you need more light. Make sure the connectors are firmly in place or you could see some flickering. Try not to fiddle too much inserting the tape into the connector so as not to bend the ends too much which I have found causes loose connections and becomes increasingly difficult to reinsert if you need to adjust it. If you can make the connection on the first or second try is best since it is flimsy but if you mess it up too bad simply cut that section off and try again. Do try and leave just enough of the backing of the tape on so that insertion into the connector is possible and it does give the flimsy tape some strength. I recommend buying several different types and configurations of tape connectors (i.e. L-connectors for corners & connectors with wires), and different types of wire connectors and splices including adapters for wires to power plugs both male and female. When I get more time (hopefully soon) I will update with some links for various accessories and connectors I have found, through trial and error, to be helpful and more functional than others.Overall I highly recommend these lights! I honestly cannot imagine my life without them anymore and wouldn't go back to a time before them. 5the power plug/female connector to the lights pull itself apart after a few months. I wanted to use this as a border for my home theater screen. Attached the 2 lights to the frame after taking a while to understand the polarities and using the provided connector.Worked well for 2-3 months. Now the lights have stopped functioning. Turns out that the connecting wire (the plug where in the adapter goes in) started to pull on the strip lights and over a period of time disconnected the strip light from it's power source. Waste of time and effort and money. I had to buy the adapter also and now it's of no use. I should've just bought the expensive lights.Even if I re-order, i will have to take down my projector frame (rebuild it now because my frame is fixed onto the wall). I gave it 2 stars because for the way the projector looked when the lights were functioning. Else it would have a 1 or a 1/2 star.If the lights are placed on a flat surface then yes the lights would work for a long time.UPDATE:After posting the review I was contacted by customer service. They returned the money because the product was still under warranty. I am upping my rating for the help received from the customer service. The product could still be great if laying on flat surface, till the time they fix the issue with the connector pulling off from the lights. 4and later discovered that it's not quite that easy. The key is the connectors This was the first time I installed light strips.I watched a couple videos, and later discovered that it's not quite that easy.The key is the connectors.This 2-pack of light strips was great. No complaints about this product.The LE strip was very durable. It survived folding and getting stepped on.I did under cabinet in the kitchen.Advice: clean the surface with alcohol.The attached picture shows a single strip under each cabinet. And an extra 2 strips over the stove and sink. Plenty of light. I used a total of 24 feet.(The old light above the stove is there, but turned off. The new tile was not installed yet.) 5Great Product!!! Worked 100% out of the box. Had to buy extra connectors for my 90 degree turns but I'm very happy with them. Connected them to a light switch to turn on/off whenever we need them. Had to purchase power supply adapter and cords to feed it to the pantry n other Cabients but it came out perfect. I also used 3m two way tape to stick to the bottom because they do get a lil hot even though they are LED n they have adhesive on the back side 5Perfect: simple, inexpensive & bright I am very pleased with this product, it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I have been creating a "library" wall by combining 6 bookcases & shelves across a 18foot wall. Since the ceilings are so high I decided I would prop some of my paintings above the cases & that they needed lighting. After researching the least expensive diy options these led strip lights seemed just the thing: within my limited budget & not requiring alot of technical skill to install. A guick search of youtube, a simple video later & I had all the info I needed. Because I am concerned about dust, but the led tracks were to expensive with that long of wall I had to find another option. My local hardware store had protective tubes for florescent bulbs 8feet long($5). I taped the led strip to a 1/2"pvc moulding($2.53), slide the moulding into the tube & taped the ends to seal out dust. I now have two 8 feet Long led light tubes that I can vacumn off without having to worry about messing up a contact or knocking the tape off. I had installed a 1 1/2 inch moulding board across all the cases to make them look more built in & the tube sits nicely right behind it. You cant see it from the front at all, but it illuminates the paintings well. These lights Do Not come with a power cable so be sure to get one. I also added a dimmer switch to mine, which I really like. The lights are a warm yellow & put out an amazing amount of light for being so little. I have no ceiling lights & these totally transform the room. They can be cut to any length you need & are well marked. I look forward to installing them in my display cases next. 5THESE THINGS ARE BRIGHT! I used these to replace some rope lights I had been using as under cabinet lights when one section of the rope went out. I bought 2 strips because I have 2 sections of cabinets that I am lighting. Installed them which was incredibly easy. While I am on the subject, several reviews complain about the adhesive but I think the problem is with their greasy cabinets and not the tape as I actually installed these and then peeled them completely off and put them back up and they worked perfectly. The reason I did this is twofold: One, they were so bright I had to use HALF a strip on each side and Secondly, the 2 strips did not quite match in the color of the light they produced. One was a nice clean "White", close to a "warm" white but not quite. The other strip was a yellowish almost green color that did not work at all with the other strip. But like I said, I cut the "white" strip in half and put half on each side which was easy as these come with extra leads and connector clips. Guess I will save the other strip for some other project, not worth the cost of returning them. I can not believe the amount of light these produce, actually quite amazing. 5illumination wise this is a great product as the intensity is very good 4/15/17 UPDATEThe way I set these LEDs up was to have double strips under my cabinets. As I initially said, illumination was great... but not for long. 5 days after I installed them, the last two strips attached to my circuit are dim now. Tha intensity is now reduced and one can notice that. I haven't done all the kitchen, as we moved just recently and have a lot of other stuff to do which is more important, just gave these a try because I was curious. Well, curiosity killed the cat and I'm not happy withthese lights. They work ok but not to what I expected.---------------------Well, illumination wise this is a great product as the intensity is very good. I don't know if they'll live to the 5,000 hours they supposedly go for, but I don't see why not.The reason why I didn't rate them with 5 stars is because the adhesive on them is not as strong as you would want it to be. I had to use some jumper wires to get through the cabinets and even if the weight of the jumpers isn't heavy, that was enough dor it to start detaching from the cabinet. I'm sure eventually I will need to do something when they start coming down by themselves. 1Nice strip lights, easy to install and quite bright! I used these to light an Ikea Detolf display case. One reel is enough to extend across the bottom, sides and top in a continuous loop, plus some extra length that can be easily cut off with a pair of scissors on the designated cut line (after every 3rd LED). This particular set comes with two reels which was enough to light two cases. These lights were extremely easy to install, the adhesive sticks really well to glass. And with the suggested transformer it was all plug-and-play. The lights are nice and bright and perfect for lighting the display case. 5It's not just a good product - Lighting EVER has great service, too! Five stars to Lighting EVER for service. One of the two packs did not light correctly out of the box. I didn't know why, but it just would not light. (I now know why, btw.) I sent them a seller-message. I'm sure that they answered it, but I lost it in my junk mailbox. So how do I know this? BECAUSE THEY SENT ME ANOTHER BOX. No argument, no questions! THANK YOU, L-E. Answer to why the first ring would not work: See those little white contact connectors? (I'm ashamed I didn't figure this out more quickly...) One tiny lead was misformed and would not make good contact. Solution: I pulled out my circuit board soldering gun and spot- soldered all the contacts to the LED strips for every contact. This resolved the flickering and fading completely, and now I have very nice kick-lighting. Get the LED strip mounting brackets to keep the LEDs nice and tight under the counter, and center-load the power (speaker wire) for longer runs to prevent dimming. Add a slider dimmer switch for a professional install. 5Disappointing (but edited) These turned out, not nearly as bright as expected, but that wasn't the worst part. The intensity and color spectrum diminished the further away you got from the transformer. In other words, the strip is not consistent, and wanes toward the end.UPDATE:I am extremely impressed that I was contacted by the company, that was so concerned with customer satisfaction, they sent a replacement because I was disappointed. I have yet to use the product, but based on customer service they deserve an upgrade. When I use this product, I could consider 5 stars if it meets my expectations 4
