Love the size! We purchased this sink during our kitchen remodel last year and I have been using it for several months now. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and here s why. First and foremost, I love the size, in fact the size is what drew me to this sink in the first place. The left side of the sink will hold my largest cake pan (16x12) and my largest Pyrex dish (17x10 with the handles) so no more soaking first one end and then the other. Secondly, it s deep, which I like (but some people might not since it does take a lot of water to fill it). It s deep enough to hold my mop bucket without having to navigate around the faucet so, as you can imagine, large pans like stock pots are no problem. I also like that I can have a stack of dishes in there and they are invisible until you get close enough to look down into the sink. It makes for a much neater kitchen until I get ready to tackle whatever is in there. It is also the perfect place to give my dog (a mini dachshund) a bath. No more bending over the tub! My only complaint is that sometimes water has a tendency to splatter when it hits the empty deep side but I think that s more my faucet s fault that the sink. The right side isn t as deep but that s the side we have our garbage disposal on and the size works well. Last but not least, the price and the quality are great. This sink is several hundred dollars cheaper than other sinks we looked at but still appears to be very well made. Even the plumber who installed it commented on it. Plus I love the sink grates that come with it. I didn t have those with my old sink and they are great (great grates, ). I also like that it came in a nice bag to protect it from scratches that we were able to repurpose and a towel with a hanging hook. So if you are in the market for a sink, I can recommend this one. 5Stunning, great craftsmanship, excellent value Our sink came within 3 days of ordering it. It s absolutely beautiful. It s more of a squared off shape, versus the typical rounded sink. It has 40/60 sink compartments (the larger compartment is on the right hand side).The metal racks look very sleek at the bottom of the sink and will certainly aid in preventing scratches. Plus, it allows you to use one side of the sink for drying (dishes are hidden, unless you walk over to the sink), so we are ditching the drying pad next to the sink!However, the racks do make drying the sink a bit more of a hassle. We ve had stainless steel sinks and appliances in our kitchens for years. I had read some reviews where folks complained about the water spots. Yes, it definitely acts like stainless- it absolutely shows water spots. I think part of the reason water spots show so obnoxiously in this particular sink is because it has more of a shiny/chrome finish. Plus, it s super deep and wide, which means there is a lot more surface area requiring wiping down. So, just know what you are getting yourself into. If you want the cool, commercial chef style sink- expect the annoying water spot problem that comes with this size of sink. I do wish the bottom of the sink had a bit more angle to it- as the water tends to pool in various spots. My old kitchen sink could be dried with one paper towel. This will require more like 3-4 paper towels to dry. And, because it s so deep, water splatters all over the sink basin.It s very quiet - a nice heavy gauge metal, which doesn t have the cheap ping that lesser quality sinks produce. In addition, the entire underside of the sink has some type of rubber coating applied to it with the sides covered in a thick rubber pad. That s about the most you could ask for. For the price, this sink is a real value! Oh, and instead of the usual sink plug, it comes with a very different cup style strainer to catch food particles. You can seal the drain hole with a stopper that fits over the small removable strainer. But, just know even the drain is unique.Did I mention it s beautiful? We bought a very commercial looking Kraus faucet and sprayer to go with the sink and the combination is very slick.Everyone compliments this sink - faucet combo. It will truly be the focal point of any kitchen remodel! 5Stunning I love the clean, modern lines of this sink, it looks amazing with my new countertops and the matching Kraus SST faucet (KPF-1690SS). The sink drains well, and came with two bottom racks to protect the beautiful SST finish - as well as two included drains - one standard and one deep with removable perforated drain basket. I kept the perforated drain (amazing at catching all food debris - and plant debris from repotting) and installed a Sinkerator garbage disposal on the other side. VERY easy to install and the SST finish looks amazing. LOVE IT and highly recommend. I have received many compliments!!! 5I LOVE this quality Kraus sink! I adore this fantastic QUALITY sink!I am SO GLAD I spent the $ on this!Get this instead of a farmhouse sink for ease of installation, and ease of cleaning because it is stainless. packaging was awesome!A deep double sink for the at home chef. Accessories with this sink make the sink a practical luxury item, you will love using every day, like I do. The grooves in the sink bottom help it drain efficiently, which means the dirty water won't end up mucking up the sink. This sink comes with 2 stainless racks that fit in the sink compartments. These keep dishes from hitting the sink bottom( thus protecting your sink) AND they serve to act as a drying rack for items after dishes have been washed. If I have dishes drying in the sink , they're out of sight ! The drain has a deep perforated metal basket to catch particles you don't want going down the drain- this little basket is easy to remove, and tap to clean out those bits one might prefer not to touch.a bonus dish towel was also included, along with a set of extra bumpers for the sink racks.Installation: installation was straight forward. One comment the installer had, was due to the weight (quality!) of the sink, one needed to keep extra clips / straps to support it. This wasn't a problem, just a comment he made. Remember also that the depth of the sink will influence your plumbing under the sink - we put this model sink in a 36" base cabinet. Check that your disposal, piping and pea trap, supply plumbing are coordinated with the sink. Let your installer know it's a deep sink, and your plumber too. 5This is a great sink We have owned this sink for about 1 year and it is great. It replaced a builder grade sink that was 6-7 inches deep. The massive increase in sink volume is great! It is easy to wash big items. We went back and forth between a single tub, a 50/50 split and a 60/40 split. We are glad that we chose a 50/50 split.I struggled with wanting to add more damping material. I decided against it and it was not needed. The sink is quite enough as delivered. We coupled this with the quite version of the disposal, and we are certainly happy with the results. The wire racks are great too as they minimize scratching. I could care less if the sink gets scratched, but dislike a noisy sink. Go figure!We do not have any issues with draining as some report.We use Bar Keepers Friend for a good cleaning and just dish detergent for the in-between cleaning.We recommend it, and we would certainly buy it again. 5Kraus sink is the real deal! I struggled with the concept that this sink was over $1,000 less than nearly identical Kohler and Franke models I was considering. There must be something wrong -- right? Well, I took the plunge figuring that I could return it to Amazon if it wasn't all that was claimed. Wow! Sink arrived in 2 days, carefully packed and in perfect condition. The sink is gorgeous! Well made, sound-proofed, grates and drains included -- everything as advertised. Sink is installed and looks fantastic! Don't be afraid of this one just because it seems too good to be true. Kraus utilizes a "web-direct" business model and passes the distribution and marketing savings on to the consumer. Very, very satisfied with this high quality product!UPDATE 1/23/2013. This sink has been in service for 14 months now and is wearing beautifully. No issues at all with this sink. Still very, very satisfied! 5Well built modern sink Been using this for two weeks now. It appears to be pretty well built and the low divider is really nifty and convenient to use. Best of both single basin and standard full divider.You need to make sure that your cabinets can accommodate this sink. It's 10" deep, which is nice because you can fit a lot of dishes in it and water does not splash on your countertop, but it takes up a lot of room underneath your sink! It's also pretty deep as you can see in my picture that I pretty much ran out of space for the faucet. Would definitely not work with a bulky 3 hole faucet in my use case.I am the first person to review this version and I recommend this product. Kohler invented the low divider sink and they are charging over $700 for a similar sink. 5Love, love, love! This sink came with everything you need except for the faucet and soap dispenser. Love the racks! That Kraus package was available but I wanted a Hansgrohe faucet. This sink is big, deep, flat and I can't find one negative thing to say about it. It replaced a builder grade white porcelain sink that was annoyingly small and pot-marked ugly!BTW: I use the left sink to air dry dishes so I used my old large Rubbermaid dish rack (http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Antimicrobial-Drainer-Silverware-Large/dp/B000IZ793S/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1443040791&sr=1-1&keywords=rubbermaid+dish+rack) and cut off the 4 top corner cross wires. It allows you to slip the rack in the smaller sink like it was custom made! I put some silicone caulk on the metal left exposed by the cuts. 5Horrible Customer Service -Very Rude We are excited about the sink & have not installed it yet. Called Kraus directly as they provide a total exterior width but they do not provide a total interior width. When I asked the total exterior width the woman seemed very annoyed that I was asking & she says well you just need to add up the two bowl width & add an inch for the center. Like I was an idiot for asking. My sink is with my counter contractor so I can t measure it to be sure & im installing extra support in the cabinets. Asking for an exact interior measurement should be a fairly common request that did not deserve her attitude. Hopefully we have no further questions or issues as I don t want to call them again & will not do business with them again. She must not realize that she gets paid because people buy their product. 2Cambria installers wanted to know where we found it My husband is an engineer and researched this a lot prior to buying. I was nervous about buying something so expensive that we will use so much without ever seeing it. I didn't need to be. It is a beautiful sink. drains well, grime doesn't get caught in the corners. It is modern, which is what we were looking for. We got this to go with cambria counters and the installers commented on how nice the sink is. Highly recommend. 5
