First impressions are all good Not my favorite form factor for a flash drive, I like a snap on cap, but I knew that going in, so no complaints. Having had problems with flash drives in the past I did a disk check on all 10, then a quick format just to make sure they would work on my system and they came out gold, no issues. At this price when I've giving someone pictures or whatever, I can just give them a flash drive, not burn a bunch of CDs or a few DVDs and hope they have a optical drive. I'm cheap, but for $2.50 each I can give them away. Only reservation is there was no speed class noted like there usually is with SD cards so I don't know if they're fast or slow. 57 out of 10 worked Making copies of family photos for the holidays and I needed 7 flash drives so I bought 10 just to be safe. Turns out that three of them were corrupt and I got seven that were working (I was sweating on the last one hoping it wouldn't be bad). Hopefully they last. 3great cheap drivesI was looking for some cheap flash drives to pass out to people with group photos on them, and these fit the bill perfectly. they all worked with both Mac and Windows, and they were great value for money. as far as longevity goes I don't know as I wasn't looking for repeated use.5Flash drivesI love these to put designs on for my embroidery machine. They have worked well for me.5I was skeptical, but they are great!I was really hesitant about buying thumb drives on Amazon, especially because the reviews on KOOTION and many other brands were not that great. I own a videography business and usually order thumb drives with our logo printed on it from a really reputable site. I went to Amazon because my Dance Recital client asked about switching from DVD's to thumb drives. I was excited because I loathe burning DVD's and printing on them, cutting the DVD covers, making menus, etc. However, the number of thumb drives she would need would be expensive. These drives are a huge bang for your buck. I ordered 50 of them. As soon as they arrived I re-formatted them all to what I need, put some files on all of them and everything is working the way it should. I would have preferred to have USB 3.0 but for the budget, I had to get USB 2.0. They are just as fast (or slow, as any other USB 2.0). I will have them sitting in the package for now until I'm finished with the recital and ready to copy everything. I know some people mentioned they worked for a little while and then were unrecognizable by the computer. So far, so good. Also, I was worried that they would arrive with the KOOTION logo on them and they came as promised, just plain black thumb drives with the silver swivel. I'm really satisfied with these so far!5No complaints If you are using these for everyday use to send files to people and/or move things from one computer to another, these work great for you. The price can't be beat. If you are looking to transfer large volume files, then other brands might provide you a quicker transfer speed. However, 90% of consumers will not be able to notice the difference in speeds. 4GREAT BUYGreat buy for the money spent. About $3 for a 16gb stick what's not to like?I use them to download Mp3 Audio books and at this price I can give them toa friend when I'm done listening.........5Great deal, great flash drive I purchased these for my photography clients instead of using cds for their images. They work very well and I couldn't get over the price! They arrived in a timely manner and are good quality. I can fit several hundred photos (jpg) on each. I'd definitely recommend these and when my supply runs out, I'll most likely be ordering from here again. 5a 40% failure rate is terrible. I am sadly outside the return period Was using these to flash large (~2gb) firmware files to machines. I began by doing full formats on each to ensure they would all format. After initial format on all, one would refuse to allow writes again. Of the others, all initially worked, but as firmware is updated, I will wipe the drive (quick format) and rewrite the new file. Three others never worked for writing after the first time I copied the firmware file to. The other six seem to be working ok, but I have limited confidence in them.I use them for non-critical applications (if they fail, I just have to recreate the drive on another) but I would be reluctant to use these for anything important. a 40% failure rate is terrible. I am sadly outside the return period, so I just have to eat the cost. Next time, I will buy more expensive name brand drives. 2Dont Count on them. I got 10 drives and all 10 work perfectly.Of course, I am thinking intelligently and not expecting an inexpensive product to be worthy of my highly sensitive and important data storage forever... I have had them for a little more than 2 weeks and the data I distributed on them (graphics, photos, documents, PowerPoint presentations, video, music) were easily accessible to the team. I have also installed portable programs (Libre Office and Paint.net) and I have received no discouraging reports from anyone.Some of these reviews are highly biased against China -- where do you think Lexar and ScanDisk, etc. actually get their parts??? I have paid more for 1 ScanDisk AND 1 Lexar USB drive than the price for all 10 of these drives and they stopped working, too.So a few drives had issues for some people. I purchased these because the VAST MAJORITY of reviewers gave favorable reviews. In the future when I order these again, IF I receive a few disks that don't work, I will contact the company and let them know. The good thing about Amazon is that IF you have an issue, vendors are encouraged by Amazon's strict policies to rectify situations -- and it usually doesn't need to get to the point where one must engage Amazon's assistance.NOTHING IS PERFECT. They work great, I like the design that I can add a keychain to them. I put all of the ones I use on a lanyard together so they are easy to find. You can label them with a metallic sharpie if you choose.5
