It's beautiful! I love everything about the look. But it's very thin with virtually no padding at all. I would not feel confident using it for actually laptop protection outside of my home. I While the color is a tiny bit duller than pictured, it looks better in person. (Ie the pictured "orange-y" accents look more coral in person). The inside is just as soft as the other reviewers have mentioned. Contrary to some reviews about the smell--mine was fine. Sure it had a little bit of a "new" smell but it was a non-issue.
