It looks very nice. It looks very nice in my bathroom. I mounted the Aluminum Glass Shelf onto my vanity giving me more room which I badly needed. 5Great quality product! Great way to add storage space to a small bathroom. Looks great! Good quality glass & materials. Highly recommended! 5Cheap, decent, not quite level These shelves look pretty good when they are on the wall, but if you are a perfectionist, I'd stay away. They are bent all over the place and are not anywhere close to level. It is a chore trying to hang these and make sure they are level with the rest of the room. You basically have to ignore the bubble and eyeball it. If that is good enough for you, these shelves will be great. If you need everything perfectly level, you might want to look elsewhere. 3Overall, a great shelf....only a couple drawbacks Once installed, this 2-tiered shelf system really does look great and gets all the clutter off my bathroom counter. The instructions are all pictures (no text) so I can see how someone who isn't handy might have an issue with assembly, but there are so few parts that it's pretty straightforward to put together.There ARE drywall anchors included, but I ended up using ones I already have that are a bit bigger and are made from a harder plastic. I cannot attest to whether the included ones will do a sufficient job to keep the shelf on the wall, but I'm not taking a risk when it comes to breaking glass. Drywall anchors are cheap and can be found at any local hardware store.The 2 Cons that I noted:1. Because you have to attach the flat vertical brackets to the wall before putting the silver shelf racks and glass up, it can be a bit tough to ensure the brackets are straight without a bubble level. It also really helps to have a second hand to hold up the horizontal shelf racks to ensure the brackets are at the correct width apart so that the holes line up before you start drilling. It is definitely doable for 1 person, but obviously 2 would be better since you'll likely have to be putting pencil marks on your drywall to make sure everything is lined up right.2. For $50 I wasn't expecting pure perfection. There is a 1/4" scratch on the glass shelves in the same location and a few 1/8" scratches on the metal pieces. They obviously came from a factory that's churning out quick furniture pieces without super high standards of quality assurance. That being said, the blemishes are minor and don't bother me all that much since I have items on the shelves covering up most of the imperfections anyway. The shelf looks great for what it is and is serving it's function beautifully. 4The shelf looks pretty nice. I just wish the screws are longer The shelf looks pretty nice. I just wish the screws are longer. I had to go to wallmart to buy a longer screws. Otherwise still looks good. 4Use heavier fasteners than what's supplied and you'll be OK This really is quite nice...but the fasteners supplied are not adequate for keeping the shelf from pulling away from the wall.There's just a single screw for keeping each end affixed to the wall...and the plastic doo-jobber that's included to reinforce where the screw goes into the dry wall does not allow the top of the ends to stay in touch with the wall. The top pulls away and then the shelf leans down. At the end of "installation day"...with nothing placed on the shelf...I already had a shelf that looked like it was drunk.My husband reinstalled it with heavier-duty screw holder things and it's just fine. 4Decent shelves for the price These shelves are a bit of a headache to assemble and install. The main problem is the construction. The actual design of the shelves is good, but the quality of the pieces is such that the construction is a little "off." The metal bar on both of my shelves ended up a little crooked even though the glass shelf itself is perfectly level, because the connection between the bar, bracket, and plate is difficult/impossible to make fully flush and tight. I think it's only very noticeable if you're standing directly in front of the shelves.I did buy better drywall anchors and screws as other reviews suggested, and I think it was a good idea. The shelves seem stable. 3Perfect if you swap out the anchors These shelves look very high end/spa like in my bathroom. I bought 2 separate ones as I think I looks a little cleaner and is about the same price.Like some other reviews said, the anchors were total garbage. The shelf was tipping off the wall with nothing on it when I used the anchors provided. I don't know why the manufacturer couldn't spend an extra 10 cents on decent anchors. It really could have ruined my product experience if I wasn't handy and understood what was going on.I'm adding a photo to show how two separate shelves look stacked. 4Great shelves for the price! I ordered two of these, and I like them. I do have a caveat, and that is to read the comments about this product before you order, so there is not a surprise. I did read them, and went to the hardware store and purchased proper drywall anchors. Therefore, I had no problem mounting the shelves, and no worry that they will pull loose from the wall. Other than that, the shelves look great and were fairly easy to assemble. Some assembly hints: 1-The aluminum brackets that attach the top and bottom shelves together have chamfered holes on the wall side of them. It does make a difference what end of the bracket is used on the bottom shelf. The chamfer should be the topmost hole of the bottom two holes for that shelf. 2- The wall anchors you purchase should have flat, bugle shaped heads, like the ones in the kit. My purchased anchors had the wrong heads, but the hardware store had plenty of machine screws that were proper. You need this shape screw head in order for the glass shelves to fit flush to the back of the shelf support brackets. 3-The brass colored screws for the glass shelves come with a rubber insert in the end of them. In my case one of the inserts had fallen into the packaging. Do NOT install the screw without these inserts, as you do not want a metal to glass connection. 4-When you run in these screws, hold the glass shelf up against the top of the shelf bracket with your thump, and stop turning the screw when the rubber insert is in solid contact with the glass. 5- To make the holes for the anchors I used an awl instead of a drill. If I happened to hit a wood beam, I just used a #6 sheet rock screw. If I missed a beam, I just wobbled the awl in the hole in the wall until I had a perfect fit for the anchor. No dust all over your bathroom this way, and negligible cleanup is necessary. 4I absolutely love how this shelf looks - clean I absolutely love how this shelf looks - clean, organized, and near impossible to knock something off of by accident. The instructions though... point off for those. They are opaque! There are only pictures, and they are only for the single shelf unit until the very end, so it's hard to visualize what they mean, and it's easy to assemble wrong. It took me a few tries to get it right. Once I did, though, it looks great and I'm very happy with it.One suggestion - don't just mark the place for the holes and then drill & then hang. It will shimmy until you have it on the wall, potentially putting your holes off center! I would suggest using a smaller bit to drill through the first hole, putting the anchor and screw in, then doing the next one & so on. That way you can make sure they're all aligned relative to each other, if that makes sense. Sometimes measure twice cut once isn't enough. Good thing spackle exists! 4
