It's a cable, but it's a thick, durable one Bought this to replace a cable that had started failing in the connection to our router. With Prime, this cable came in less than 48 hours. Plugged it in and have had no problems (it wasn't a throughput issue, but upgrading to Cat6 from Cat5 was worth the extra dollar) in staying connected. And the little tabs to help unplug are a "Finally!" upgrade to those danged tabs that always get stuck and are impossible to operate unless you have long fingernails.I have no issues with this cable, but one thing to be aware of is that this is noticeably thicker than a Cat5 cable. It still fits the standard Ethernet port, but if you're planning on folding this cable or winding it up with others, you might be in for a stiff surprise. So pay attention to length. Otherwise, you're getting exactly what you'd expect. 5Hands down, just buy it. Overall this is a solid cable. It works perfect for streaming videos and downloading games off Steam.Its durability is pretty good too. We had an accident and kicked the cord HARD and it snapped the peg out of it that holds the cable in place. Now with how hard the kick was, I'm not surprised it broke, but 5 star could only go to one that survived imo. I had another cable one of my dogs did the same thing and it survived.You won't regret the purchase! 5works fine for the price I was a little concerned about the lower price, but the 75 foot run I bought has no problem with 20 MB upload- can't say how it will work at 100MB. 5Best Network Cable I've seen in a long time. KabelDirekt TOP Series (100ft) Cat6 Gigabit Ethernet Cable with Snagless RJ45 Connector is probably one of the most well-made cables for the money. It came perfect in the bag and was easy to string up to the area I needed. I get no lags or parsing with this cable even at this length. The connector is tough. When I installed it through a wall, I simply cut the hole and used the old tape and stick method to poke it through. The connector held up to all of it without any problem. No interference or cross-talk between the cable and my others either. I'll buy from this seller again when I need the next one for a project. 5Quality Cable I was upgrading my home camera system and the cables that came with the system were just too short for a few of the cameras. I thought about making my own as I have a spool and connectors, but being honest, was just too lazy, so I went exploring for the easy way out. These appeared to have a good reviews and were at a fair price, so why not. Pleased I did. Solid quality and easy to pull with no loss in signal. 5Can't recommend enough Ended up getting two of these due to shipping errors but I only use one right now. Poor quality control. 1KabelDirekt did the trick for my IP cameras setup Purchased a bunch of different length cables from KabelDireckt for my IP camera project ( 1x 100ft , 4x 50ft, and 2x 25 ft ) Tested them all first and was amazed that even the 100ft cable was right there and getting the full download speed from my cable internet. To tell you the truth I beat the hell out of the 100ft cable pulling it from 2nd floor up to the attic, down the chase, across the basement, out through the wall to the attached garage, to the network switch where it spread out up into the garage attic to the eaves with the smaller length cables where my 4 IP cameras are. Let me tell you I was worried after looking what I had done to it that there was no way it way working. Hooked up my laptop connected and BAMM full download speed still. I am not saying these cables are invincible but I am surely impressed with the speed and durability so far. I would highly recommend purchase and the nice little touch of included labeling strips was very helpful in keeping straight which cable was which as I routed them through the house and garage. The only thing I would recommend is that you pre lay them out in a warm environment prior to running them to loosen up the coiling that occurs from being packaged. I went straight up to the wintertime 30 degree attic which is why the 100 footer took some damage as it was still uncoiling in a cold environment. Can't beat them for the price for performance. 5Great Value In High Quality Cable. I bought this cable to hard-wire my ROKU streaming device to my router. The ROKU wasn't working well with a wireless router connection, but with this wired connection, the improvement is amazing. No more drops for buffering of streaming content.This sure feels like a well made cable. It is flexible, but the protective coating feels tough. It was a great bargain for a 75-foot high quality cable. I ran it under the house from the back bedroom where my desktop PC sits to our living room.Overall very pleased. 5
