    Perfect color, but shape is not a perfect globe. Really great! I ordered the 5-piece set of paper lanterns in the color "seafoam" and it's the exact color that I was imagining. It's a minty/Tiffany blue which perfectly matches my color scheme. They were easy to assemble but of course I had to be cautious not to break them, as they are made of paper. The only downside to this product is the fact that the item is advertised as a perfect "globe" shape, which is inaccurate. In reality, the lantern is a bit more oblong; not quite an oval but not quite a globe. It's right in the middle, but honestly I can live with it. Just keep that fact in mind if you are looking to buy this product. 4Just what I needed. Great party decoration. I used adhesive felt and turned these into panda heads for a panda themed baby shower. They looked great strung up with tissue paper pom poms. 5Happy Camper So, these are awesome! They're bigger than expected- which was a great surprise. Once you've got the stabilizing mechanism in, it's pretty sturdy. We hung them from pendant chords and they actually give off a lot of light! Love these! ( Put up a picture so you can see one with a light on and without.) 5nice lanterns These are great. These give off a warm glow as longer as you're using a warm light bulb. Be a little careful when bending the metal supports that go inside of the lantern where the little hooks for the fixture cord is supposed to wrap. It is soldered on there and will pop off if you try to bend it too much.I put a couple around my house using fixtures I found on Amazon and some GE LED lights because they have great "warm" light that I really miss from the old incandescents. Very flimsy and easy to damage. Wife wanted to hang a bunch of LED lights in them to act as portable lighting for shooting video outdoors and such. With the LEDS hanging in them, they weren't terribly bright. So I suggested instead that she use the two BioLite SiteLight Overhead String Lights that we already have with a USB battery pack. Those were brighter soft light, and she said it worked great. Wants me to get two more of them. These with the little hanging battery LED's in them were a joke, and she ended up throwing it all in the trash.These might be fine to just hang as a decoration or something in your house or apartment, but are so delicate that they were a bit difficult to get setup without damaging them. 1Lovely and fun Perfect! Exactly as pictured! Looked great for my back yard wedding. Make sure you get the hang of putting them together or you can rip them ( that's how all paper lanterns are ) make sure you get the "feet" in first and hold it there with one hand. With the other press and bend one side of the top into the hole then the other. Keep in mind it is better to bend the metal that goes inside the lantern then to bend the lantern it self to fit over the metal . 5Great d cor item! Economical, Stylish, Compact, Lightweight These are the lightweight, almost feather-weight version of paper lanterns that are traditionally made with bamboo ribs and fibrous/washi paper. This economical version is formatted with ultra thin wire, and thin tissue paper for a non-cumbersome and inexpensive alternative.Assembly is super simple. The rectangular tension wire has corners at the bottom that rest on the lower/smaller ring opening of the lantern, and ears at the top that fit into the small rings at the larger opening/top of the lantern. It has an open ring welded to the top bar where you thread the cord of your pendant light.Be careful, these lanterns are fragile, and more than that, any wire ends poking out are ultra sharp.With or without lights in them, I think they work great for dorms, special events, children's rooms, and a variety of d cor styles such as bohemian, romantic, etc. Very fun item, would love to have in various sizes.Obviously not as robust or bold as the traditional type lantern, but nice nonetheless for a simplified or temporary decorative light option. Time will tell how they will hold up over time, being dusted, and going through the humid seasons here in FL. I think - with care - they may hold up for years. I will update if anything comes up. 5Very pleased Well made, attractive and a good value for the price. They are paper and will tear if not hangled carefully, but I had no problems. Light fixture is not included so I made my own. 5great product These are so easy to assemble and the little ones are super cute. I hang ribbon from the bottoms. A wonderful and well priced decoration. 5Paper lantern shades for a variety of uses (electric or battery lights sold separately) I live in hurricane territory so I keep these on hand for emergency lighting as well as spur of the moment decorating. They provide a surprising amount of light with only a small battery for each. With a little care they last for years. You will need to purchase a short string of Christmas lights or order the lantern lights to insert inside the shades. These are made of paper so they will not last forever. You can use these to replace old shades that are looking tired. 5
