EMPHASIS ON WATER "RESISTANT"! Not well made. I tested the water resistance. I submerged it in a sink of water. Maybe 3" at max, and let it sit for a few minutes. When I came back it was filled with water. I understand the difference between water proof and water resistant, but this is honestly only resistant to light sprinkles of rain at best. not to mention the latch is really badly made. One drop onto tile and my cards where everywhere. would not recommend at all. 2Good, but could change 1 thing on it. So here is the one problem with this product. Don't get me wrong, it works as suggested. It's rugged and seals tight. However, when I shoot with this many cards, I put the used/full cards back into the case. I typically have done that by reversing the cards backwards. But the SD Slot is one way cause of the little notch in this design. I've since purchased other ones that do not have that notch so you can put them back in either direction. SO just a little thing to think about if you plan on saving yourself time and remembering which cards are full and which ones are ready to use. 3Safe, Secure, and Durable! Perfect Card Holder! I love these cases. They are so much better than the traditional slide into a mesh pocket type card holder. My only complaint is that if it s moved around a lot, sometimes my sd cards come loose. They re still protected so it s not a big issue. Overall I still love these cases! 5Very good case Probably one of the better-designed memory card storage cases available and card capacity. The compact flash cards fit snuggly, but SD cards pop loose. Take caution when opening to not lose any loose SD cards. The SD slots are notched/keyed, so cards can't be in upside down or flipped to separate full and empty cards. 4Exactly as Described, Priced Right and Functional My Nikon D810 has both CF and SD card slots. I typically write NEFs to the CF card and JPEGs to the SD card. This case allows me to effectively and resiliently carry both sets of cards. This is a well-built case that closes decisively and does not accidentally open on its own.As others have noted, you can't flip the SD cards backwards when you insert them in the case to indicate they have been used. I can see why this would be annoying. My workaround is the slide the 'lock' on my used SD cards before I put them back in the case. That is both a visual indicator the card has been used and prevents me from erasing it should I miss the visual indicator and put it back in the camera. 4Great case at an amazing price! AWESOME!!!! This little thing is a rare bargin. I shoot professionally and my wife is used to occasional bits of non-descript bling showing up that cost a lot of cake - I opened this and asked her what she thought it cost - given its robust (almost Pelican like) construction and refined interior, she guessed $49.00....Ha! - But oddly, and this is the key - I'd pay that for a case this good. I have such anxieties about my cards, especially when full. This thing is great - Oh - and I actually ran it under a faucet to test the "water-resistant" claim - yup - turns out if you're caught in a biblical downpour, your cards will be safe. Great product and great price - love it! 5The reason I gave this 3 starts is the SD slots were great and snug when I first bought it Overall this is a decent case. It's DEFINITELY water proof! I was on a boat for a shoot and the boat ended up sinking (camera was fine) but the card case was in the bag which went under..all the cards inside were completely dry. It wasn't under for more than a minute and didn't go more than a foot or two under but it was underwater! The reason I gave this 3 starts is the SD slots were great and snug when I first bought it, but now after a little while, I really have to force the SD cards into their slots and they still end up coming loose. When I open the case all the SD cards go all over the place. 3Works great Does what it supposed to do. I haven't test it in water yet -So i don't know about water resistant - but as for traveling and durability - its very sturdy. It also kept all my memory cards organized. 5Surprisingly rugged case My new Canon 7d MkII uses both types of memory cards, SD and CF. My old case was a flimsy aluminum case that held 3 CF cards. It has a nice dent in it. This case is amazingly sturdy. I think you could run it over with a car, it is that solid. I like the seal around the edge, which accounts for the water-resistance. Haven't tried, but I bet it will float too. For the money, this is a nice case. 5Good for CF, not as good for SD Love the CF side, but the SD side leaves something to be desired. I like to flip my used cards upside down so I can quickly identify which cards are ready to go while shooting weddings and families. You can't flip the SD cards without them being too loose and then falling out. I ended up buying another JJC case that had just rectangular SD card slots and swapping out the rubber mold to this one. 3
