Customer Reviews

I'm not that impressed with the pins in the molex ... I'm not that impressed with the pins in the molex connectors. The're a little loose and I'm not confident that they would hold up to builders who unplug and replug their fans multiple times. I don't 'not recommend' these because most people who are buying them will have some experience with similar hardware but don't expect the pins to line up with your fans female plug without having to move the pins around to put them in line. It's no big deal but soemthing to be aware of. 4Wonderful PWM fan splitter I purchased a second one of these from Amazon so that I could have a push/pull fan setup on my Corsair H100i (4 fans) while still maintaining full PWM control of all fans and have been very satisfied. The ONLY complaint I have is aesthetics but for a $6 product I am not going to deduct any stars. These wonderful black mesh sleeved cables would look infinitely better without the large heat shrink pieces protruding out of each connector (just FYI if that is something you care about). 5Need more FANS! Very simple product, Need an extra fan, but don't have a place to plug it into? This is the splitter for you.Keep in mind Fans pull a non-trivial amount of power, so you can't just keep adding them without thought, but this will get you out of a bind if you need and extra fan or two in your case. These are actually pretty useful for cable management too. I used one of the to power the two fans on a radiator without have to run another cable the whole distance. 5perfect product especially for anyone who wants to control the ... The only thing that feels premium about this cable is the sleeve. Wish the plastic connectors were a bit smoother but thats just me being picky as you will never really see the damn thing unless you are doing some cable management or cleaning out your pc. Other than that, perfect product especially for anyone who wants to control the fan speed of two fans on one fan header. One of the male ends is missing a prong but they did that on purpose so do not fret when you finally take it out of the packaging. 4Almost perfect. Works great. While the sleeving looks pretty good, the multi-colored insulation on the inner wires are visible near the connectors. It's a shame because right at the connector is where you would want it to look it's best if you're showing off your components.Other than that, it's perfect as far as functionality goes.I only have way more fans in my case than I have fan headers on my motherboard. This is a relatively inexpensive way to deal with that without going as far as a dedicated fan controller hub. 4Well planned product Does exactly what it needs to. The cable sleeves are high quality mesh, the connections are solid, and the cable length is enough to reach where it needs to, but not so much that you're stuck with a mass of cabling.Note--one of the pins on one of the male ends is missing, and THIS IS INTENTIONAL AND NECESSARY. It's the pin that reads fan speed to the motherboard, and if both sides had it then it could send conflicting data to the motherboard and cause problems. If you buy a splitter cable like this where there isn't a missing pin, you'll have to cut the connection yourself. 5but everything fits great and it runs my push pull without a hitch When I first got this thing in the mail it looked so weird. The shields for The fan connectors are big looking, but everything fits great and it runs my push pull without a hitch. My temps are not accurate at all, but it's usually like 40-46C with two blue light corsair sp120s it never goes on high, and I run the integrated graphics on a 4770k at I think 1700Hz I haven't overclocked the CPU at all so I guess I could have stressed the fans more. But the wire works perfectly and wasn't hard to tuck away. Very useful if I get more fans too. 5Nice sleeved cable Not much to say, it's a simple single 4 pin to dual 4 pin pwm fan splitter. Used this to fix an issue with the two radiator fans coming off my cpu fan header.Works great, looks good. Simple sleeved cable. Only downside is it could be a little more flexible, trying to make tight bends in a small case makes me feel uncomfortable. There doesn't seem to be a need for the cable to be that rigid/stiff.Other than that, totally worth it 5Great value; great product. People need to learn how to setup their own computers better. It works great. The cables are sleeved and they look great in my computer case. As other (less inteligent) people have mentioned, yes one of female the connectors only has 3 pins, while the other has 4. That missing pin is used for the tachometer (RPM gauge). You can only measure the RPM on one of the two fans you have connected. THAT IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. Your mobo wouldn't know what to do with that extra information or even how to process it. So yes, there is a little bit of risk in connecting two fans to one mobo fan header, since you wouldn't get any kind of indication that one fan is not spinning at the same speed, but that is the risk you have to take if you want to connect two fans to one mobo fan header. For the price, this is the best it gets. 5Shoulda Got One Sooner !! Quality is value, and the JBtek PWM Fan Splitter Cable is the perfect choice for hooking up two fans to the same power source. It's a 1-to-2 cable, with 1 female end, and 2 female ends. Plugs right in, and there's 2 fans cooling your rig in a matter of seconds !! Brought my case temps down about 6 - 8 C. on average, measured with infra-red gun. I should have gotten this thing years ago !! 5
