installation process is insane Awful, the installation process is insane! You have to use liquid spray, not get it in any of your holes on your phone, it slips and slides around, and then it has to dry (sic. you can NOT use your phone) for 12-24 hours. What!?! 1Good protector using wet apply but this phone requires a better design Edges don't stay down well and it bubbles with phone protection case. I understand the design challenge here and I think they did a great job using the current common wet apply approach for screen protectors. However, this screen needs a new approach and this shield falls slightly short.The edges will start to detach as it sits in your pockets and moves around or you glance the edge with your finger in the wrong direction. Even using the edge feature to bring up apps slowly detaches the guard over time. You can add a case to it to help prevent this but the case will likely bubble at least one of the corners. 3AWESOME! Super amazing screen protectors! Super Easy install. Its definitely case friendly, no lifting up with even the tight fitting cases like a poetic slim case. Only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because it collects a lot of fingerprints and oil, but overall it is a really great screen protector. I definitely recommend it. 4I should have bought these first.... (Spoke too soon) Edit: Not case friendly with my Spigen Rugged Armor. Corners peeled up.I was fed up with screen protectors for the Galaxy S8. Most of the tempered glass ones don't fit or cost $50. The plastic ones don't fit around the curves and peel up. I was about to give up on finding a good screen protector for the S8 at a fair price. As a last resort I tried the IQ Shield LiQuidSkin screen protectors and as it turns out these are the best ones so far for the S8. They look great and fit great. I used a hair dryer to get the edges and corners to stick properly.NOTE: I highly recommend you watch the youtube video they made "several times" before attempting the application. It really helps the process A LOT. 3but it was a fine cover. My phone case Kind of a pain to put on, but it was a fine cover. My phone case, which is a wallet-style case, left impressions in the screen protector that were a little annoying. If I left my phone case open, they would self-heal almost completely, but still. It does eventually scratch, which was expected. The corners came up when I switched phone cases. I will have to apply another one soon because of that. 4Long term protection unknown, but still pretty good protector. It's a good thing this came with two screen protectors and priced affordably. After the first try applying the screen protector on my S8, I had done an almost perfect job, except with one very noticeable piece of lint was stuck underneath. Went a day with it on before I decided to try to remove the lint by lifting a small part of the film protector with scotch tape and removing said lint with another piece of tape. Wasn't able to lift the lint off because it was well attached to the underside of the screen was quite sticky, which is a good thing, but became a problem because lifting it up attracted small dust particles and made the screen unusable. Ended up removing it altogether and applying the second one and followed the same guide online and this time it was lint free and better positioned.PROS:- Easy to install. As long as you prepare the screen well and keep lint/dust off the screen, the finish product should look good.- Good fit and finish. Covers my S8's screen nicely around the relevant areas.- Comes with two screens and tools. Rubber squeegee is useful when compared to a piece of cardboard that other screen protectors pack in.- Works with a case.CONS:- Not as strong as tempered glass. It's a plastic rubbery film so it might not be the best protection against drops. Will protect against scratches, but not sure right now how it'll handle a drop on the screen, but I hope that never happens.- Edges can be finicky. Doesn't quite stick to the screen from the get go. Have to remember to palm them down.Overall this a good product and one of the best film protectors I've applied. Didn't have to fuss around with screen bubbles or having to meticulously line up the protector with the phone screen like other film protectors in the past and that's due to the wet application method which makes it virtually mistake free. 4So smooth, would buy again The most time consuming one I've ever put on, but totally worth it. It doesn't even seem like there is anything on the screen. It's as smooth as the actual screen. The video was very helpful. It's a pain that you need to do it before bed and let it set for hours. I would use again though, well worth it. It even works on the curved screen. Used on my Galaxy s8. 4Great Screen Protector This is a well made screen protector. If you apply it correctly while looking up the instructions, you should get minimal defects!The only annoyance were the edges of the screen protector. Its a pain due to the curve of the screen. You will find the edges not sticking as you'd like.QUICK TIP FOR EDGES: Once you are satisfied with the layout on the screen and you have squeegeed all liquid out, use a hairdryer to warm up the edges of the screen protector while using your finger to hold it down. This will accelerate the process and you will begin to see it to hold. You can warm up the rest of the protector if you prefer. Be careful and LIGHTLY heat up the protector while constantly moving the hairdryer back and forth, preventing any damage or bubbles from extreme heat.REMEMBER this is a screen protector made for protecting against scratches and abrasions. This is not a case and will not protect your screen from impacts. 4Great for your screen and edges. Deal for the $ I LOVEEEEE the feel, adhesive works great in edges, IF you follow instructions. I'm great at putting on screen protectors. Used to work at wireless store doing it every day. This is advertised as case friendly. I watched all videos and extra ones too. Prepared an area a did my protector as the video and instructions stated. I waited 24 hrs, out my commuter ottorbox and sometimes the bottom bubbles up. I have to take case off and firmly restick. So far adhesive still sticks back on. Its been about a week since I've had it. I'm hoping it sticks for good from now on. 4Best Protector that Ive found so far I don't usually write reviews on products but I felt the need to do so since this is the 4th screen protector I've tried for this phone. About a month in and so far so good. Tried two glass protectors and a hard plastic protector previously but they made the functionality of the phone difficult, this one fits the contours of the phone and feels smooth to the touch without affecting the response time or functionality of the phone such as swiping or pulling down the drop down screen. It's case friendly for the case I have and after a couple of hard drops it held up very well, my screen was unharmed. I consider it a steal considering I've spent about $70 on the previous 3 screen protectors. 5
