Loving it so far I have tried quite a few cases and I think this is a great fit so far. I tried the otter box one and it was really bulky and the built in screen protector was terrible. This is just a screen protector for the back side but it really fits the needs I need. One it s not bulky. Two it fits my iPad Pro 9.7 with a screen protector. Three it fits in my mavic Pro drone adapter that was always one of the reason the others where not working out. This one fits my iPad, my drone remote and is not super bulky. The last reason it leaves the side where you can add a front side like a Apple keyboard to it later in the future. Pros: fits iPad Pro with screen protector, fits my drone remote and not super bulky. Cons is there is no front side which like I said you can add a keyboard later but still would be nice to have also a little stiff getting it in and out but it s lost all pros like 99.99 percent. 5Great inexpensive stand-in for the Apple version This is a great back case and for a fraction of the cost of the Apple version. Differences from the actual apple version: Slightly, and I mean slightly less "sticky" rubber feel. I actually prefer the feel of this version to the apple version. The inside is not protected with microfiber like the apple version, but I have had my iPad in it for several months now and pulled it out to check and no scratches or blemishes have been created. I'd prefer to have the microfiber on the inside but I think you have to give up some things for the price. There is no Apple logo on the back of this version -- for obvious reasons. Where they are the same: The color (for the grey version at least) This matches the Apple iPad keyboard case I have exactly. 4Economic Alternative to Apple Official Case with Slight Downsides Great alternative to the more expense official Apple case. Been using for a few weeks now.I was in the market for a new case for my iPad Pro and was reluctant to spend the $60+ on an official Apple case. My search took my to Onix's Charcoal Gray back case and I'm pretty happy with my purchase.The case is as advertised and fits perfectly. There are openings on the sides for the buttons and for the Smart Keyboard magnetic attachment point. The back obviously has an opening for a camera, top edge for headphone jack and power button, and bottom for charging. All in all it does its job.I did drop a star from the rating as it doesn't quite feel as nice, or as flexible, as the Apple case. It feels more brittle when putting it in and far more plastic like to the touch when compared to the more rubber like texture and flexibility provided by the Apple case. All this is fair and understable given the substantial price difference but should be considered when comparing the two. 4Case provides great value compared to Apple's. Pictures inside comparing it to Apple's. Mini-Review: Good: Great price, works with apple smart cover and/or apple keyboard. Up until recently the only case that worked with Apple smart keyboard was the apple case. And like so many other I begrudgingly purchased cases for each iPad Pro. Then when I saw this case I jump at the chance to try it out. I bought both the blue and the grey version. (For those people who must match, the grey case matches the color of the apple smart keyboard)The case you are getting from KHOMO is great for the money. It works with other accessories. It protects the back of the iPad. Its great. What it doesn't give you is the little attentions to detail the apple case gives you: - The space for the smart connector is bigger than it needs to be - In the long run the lack of felt liner could lead to dust/dirt getting trapped and scratches on the back - It is a little thinner than the Apple case - leads me to believe this is more for minimizing scratches on the back than protecting it from drops - Speaker areas are full holes rather than dots - better for sound, worse for protecting against junk getting in there - Volume up/down port is a cut out versus a covered button - harder to use this way as the thickness of the case makes it difficult to find the ridges - Lightening connector hole is not connected - leaves opportunity for you to ding/break screen from the edge but allows for easier plug access when using 3rd party cables w/thicker connectorsOverall for the ~$50 difference in price I think this case is worth the trade-offs. 5Apple needs to take note that they don't have to gouge people on accessories. Not quite as finished as Apple's case but lined up with every cutout needed. I don't know why some reviewers are saying it doesn't match up - mine lined up with every hole and access port on the iPad Pro. This case does not have a little lip going over the front (like my previous Apple knockoff for the iPad Air did), but there is adequate protection in the front when this is used with the Apple Smart Cover. I like the feel of this, but it is not as "grippy" as the Apple product. Color seems to match up with the Apple products so it matches my Smart Cover (and I hear it matches the Apple keyboard). This is all I wanted/needed. I didn't want some thick cover that took away from the sleekness of the iPad so i wanted something minimalistic but adequate. I just had a hard time swallowing the cost of the Apple Silicone cover (at $70.00?)... the Apple Smart Cover was expensive enough (I couldn't find a 3rd party knockoff for that). 5Handsome, Good Overall Value, But.... I bought this case to replace the Apple silicone case that I originally bought with my iPad. I bought the case, assuming that it was basically a knock-off of the case that I was replacing. Amazon (i.e., not the manufacturer) described the case as being "similar to" the overpriced original Apple case, and I did not see anything in the manufacturer's description that mentions specifically what the case is made of, so I'd assumed that this case was also silicone.That said, when I received the case, I was admittedly a bit disappointed to discover that the case is a hard-plastic shell rather than a silicone case. As a hard-plastic shell, it isn't as "grippy" as the silicone case -- which is an issue for me, as I have two kids who sometimes use the iPad. Also, on the specific case that I received, the cutouts at the top don't align particularly well with the iPad; the case partially covers one of the speakers at the top, and the power button at the top is a bit difficult to reach through the cover. I'd guess that the alignment issue is a one-off issue with my specific item, and I'd suspect that this would be a good purchase for others, which is why I still give it four stars. It's just not a great fit for us -- literally and figuratively. :) 4This Will Do Nicely! I like many of you after spending nearly or over $1000 in getting your iPad Pro, you want to gain some leverage back to the pockets and skim a bit on the accessories, this back cover does just that nicely!First I was really impressed with the feel of the back cover, it has a silky yet firm feel to it that allows for nice grip ability. The inside is not felt lined but as of now I have had no issues or scratches to back cover. Fingerprints do not easily show due to the matte finish and I have to say this Stone color really does add a nice contrast to the Apple Smart Keyboard Cover, has a unisex versatility to the color that looks professional.I am able to access volume/speaker/power buttons with no problem, all ports for the 4 speakers are exposed and in no way does it interfere with the functionality of my keyboard adhering to the magnet port. It fits thinly and flush to the back so no additional major bulk issues.Easy to wipe clean with a dampened wet cloth of water and it's as good as new. Very pleased with the quality and the price. No complaints! 5Product not as described on page The case seems like it is fairly well made, however, it is not as describe on the product page. The case I was sent (label matches the product) now contains an area to store your Apple Pencil on the side opposite of the opening to connect a screen cover/keyboard. While, I'm sure this would benefit some, I chose to forgo the extra $100 utensil and thus do not require an empty bulbous protrusion jutting out from the side of my case.Please update your product description and imagery.Update:Reached out to company directly, and they were quick to ship a replacement case (Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for USPS getting it to me). The case survived a hefty dose of 'TLC' (i.e. they destroy the packaging) from the USPS, and came out still looking great. The fit is right in line with what I would expect a more costly case to be. The first has served me well for over almost 18 months, but I wanted a new color that actually matched my keyboard. Getting the iPad positioned (lining up the three dots) with the Apple keyboard can take a little work with the case on, but I think it has more to do with the keyboard recognizing that the iPad is there. The case does cause more space between the dots on the iPad and the ones on the keyboard. Again, this is my second, and only replacing because I wanted a different color 5
