Customer Reviews

Great Affordable Case I purchased this case to replace a hard case that included a keyboard. I like this case more than the previous one that I had.Pros: The cloth is durable. The magnetic pencil sleeve is perfect for my iPencil. The sleeve has only slid off once, but it was due to how I had it stored. The pencil itself fits snuggly in the sleeve and won't slide out. The corners of the iPad are well protected, and the speakers are not covered. The different angles at which you can sit the iPad are good for typing, playing games, viewing videos, or any other activity you may choose.Cons: The only con would be that the sleep/wake feature does not work for me. This was minor want as I had it on my prior version iPad/case combination. Some people may be wanting this feature and it may be hit or miss depending on the polarity of the internal magnets driving this feature. 4Quality product for a very reasonable price Quality product for the price. I spent 5 hours sifting through pictures and reviews on Amazon the other day. I was looking at cases for my new iPad Pro 9.7", at prices ranging from 10.00-60.00. I chose this one because it had the denim cover, which felt like me, and the nifty detachable pencil holder. The product arrived in acceptable time (3 days) and appears & feels like a decent quality product for the price. I am pleased with my 23.00 purchase. Looks great, and craftsmanship appears to be of good quality. All ports necessary ports accessible (other than the keyboard port, but this case is NOT meant to be used with a keyboard, so there ya go;)I don't know what other reviewers were talking about - yes, the pencil case is snug, but that is better than it being loose, is it not? And, the magnet on mine feels quite strong enough. It's just meant to go right up against the edge only. Maybe those reviewers were trying to put the pencil somewhere els? The magnetic closure also seems strong. Doesn't fall open when turned upside down, even with the weight of the pencil added, which seems impressive to me. It also turns the iPad awake/asleep properly as far as I can tell. The camera hole is also one of the only ones I saw that doesn't cover the mic.I feel like I remember a pic of this propped up while laying down in the add, for drawing. That is not an option, as it falls flat with the weight of the pad when I try to do that, but the two standing positions are adequate, and you can even prop it upright in portrait position for photos/videos (on a hard surface)The elastic hand prop is nice/convenient/quality as well, when holding it like a book.Again, at first inspection - it looks like a good quality product for the very reasonable price. Just to be clear. This is an unsolicited review. I received no compensation. I'm including photos of the product fresh outa the box. Hope this review helped save you some time in your search;) 5The pen holder leads much to be desired. The pen holder is clearly an afterthought and it doesn't fit the Apple pencil cleanly (trying to remove the pencil removes the sleeve from the case because it's held on by a magnet the strength of a compass). The double slots for standing are good albeit a little tight to get out of their resting position. The interior handle is also a nice touch for single handed use. The interior cloth is also superior to other cases in this price range.I bought this and the one by Exact which has a tiny piece of elastic fabric to hold the pencil and that is exactly what should have been done here. It's blatantly an air2 case relabeled. Put the elasticated pen holster on this case(please) and it's perfect. I ended up with the Exact version purely because of that feature, even with it missing the hand hold and the dual stand heights. 3Tip for securing Pencil holder case... I like the case, but I wish the pencil holder magnet was stronger. I was going to use some glue like another reviewer suggested, but instead I grabbed a heavy duty command strip, slapped it on and wow, it worked great! The pencil holder case is a bit more raised now but it doesn't interfere with the function of the case, and most importantly I now have confidence that it will stay on. I even added a strip to another (lighter) case and it worked great on it as well, allowing me to have multiple cases with a portable pencil holder. If the strips ever get weak, I'll just replace it with a new one. Hope it works for you! 5Great case, BUT with one problem... I've been using this case for a good while now. I didn't want to report exactly after getting it as I needed time with it.Overall the case is amazing. And I love the fact that it came with a holder for the Apple Pencil. Very strong magnet that bonds the holder to the case. Can't get it off unless I actually pull it off.My only complaint is that the ambient light sensor is blocked by the case. I don't think they properly accounted for it's position. As such, I've had to modify the case...removing a section of it to make sure the sensor could properly read the ambient lighting. 4For the price, You'll be blown away by the quality and attention to detail of this Case!! A MUST BUY!! First of all this is going to be my first ever product review as, for the price this product is just too good!!!I had been searching for cases both online and offline for my Ipad pro (9.7"). The one's that matched a level of quality I needed were either too expensive or did not have a holder for the apple pencil. The cheaper ones had issues with either build quality, missing pen holder, poor materials or workmanship. One a side note: If you plan on investing money on an apple pencil you will need a holder/case for it because it is longer than a "standard pencil case" and I'm sure you would not want to keep it with other pencils for the risk of damaging the nib.I saw other ipad's with pencil holders online, however, I was not totally satisfied and did not want to risk too much money. I'm glad I choose this case. It is not a thin profile yet also not as thick as other cases. The Pros: The material feels perfect and of high quality in the hands and holds both incline positions without wobble. The attention to detail is very good as there is a small flap with Velcro at the bottom that holds the ipad neatly in place (see pictures). The corner edges of the ipad are protected by the case. The font type used for the company logo is very decent and presentable and doesn't look cheap or out of place for professional or client settings (which in my requirement is a big positive! Good designer brands also pay attention to the logos as well!). The other attention to detail is in the magnetized pencil holder. The holder is tapered slightly upward near the pencil nib so that there is hardly any pressure on the nib to bend downward (see pictures).Cons: For the price you pay and the quality you get, any con would be a minor thing, however, I am curious to know how long the magnetized pencil case would hold out before the power of the magnets diminishes as it seems to be not as strong as the ones you get on apple products.I guess I will update my post after a couple of months.Recap: Great product! made me wanna write my first review! A Must Buy for anyone who tries to strike a balance between high quality and cheap price in the products they buy.Note: I have not been asked, paid, or given incentive to write this review. I just wanted to appreciate the attention to detail and quality of the product. 5Good iPad Pro case This case is pretty awesome for the price! I like almost every thing about it except the magnetic ipencil sleeve. I was not going to purchase it because of the magnetic sleeve but when I read some of the reviews I saw that a woman glued it to where she wanted it and said it glued perfectly. Because of that review I purchased it and I super glued it where I wanted it and it's been over a month and it is glued on for life and I have had no issues. Because of that review I bought the case. The tilt options on the back are a little tuff to use but what so you expect for $11.00. 4RECEIVED A USED/DIRTY PRODUCT. BUYER BEWARE! Opened package, could tell straight away it was damaged. The right lower hand corner is bent, looks like someone tried shoving a too big of an iPad into the case (pictured). On the front of the case it s splattered with god knows what (pictured).Stitching is frayed in the inside of the top cover (pictured)Divots/dents on front cover (not pictured). The mechanism to stand your iPad up is super cheap and unstable (not pictured)The pencil case is kind of random, cheap, useless (pictured).May be the worst product I have ever received on Amazon. Wish I could give negative points. 1it fits like a glove 5 Star customer service. Received updated cover for iPad Pro 9.7, it fits like a glove, wake sleep function works very well. The case looks nice, is slim and light, it seems to protect the iPad nicely for normal use. Well worth the price paid I did get a second case as a back up just in case don't want to be without one. There is a smell when first open but after a day or two it was gone just let it air out. The pin holder is a nice add on to protect the pin and keeping it on the cover and easily removed when not in use. After a few weeks of use still very satisfied with the fit and quality of this case. It's lite and the sleep function works well. The case is meeting expectations and grand style. The smell is gone when first open so don't make an issue of it without giving it time to air out. I have other cases paid more but I like this case better. It protects the iPad nicely for normal use with full access to the screen and home button. The camera is protected and the side buttons are easy to reach. 5Works flawlessly with iPad Pro 9.7 After looking at many reviews of similar products, I decided that the CaseCrown was the best choice.I've enclosed photos with this review.Quality The case is sturdy, and whole it adds a bit of heft to the device, without a case, the iPad is very silky and slippery.I like the optional hand grip in the back. There are 2 choices in which to position your device for viewing videos, movies, or whatever.I like having 2 choices and both positions are good and solid All 4 speakers are unobstructed Camera and flash are unobstructed Magnetic closure puts device to sleep Apple Pencil holder is magnetic and stays secure on the iPad cover The material is a good quality faux leather, very sturdy and feels good in the hand(s) The color is as pictured, a Teal that is on the green side.NOTE...when using the hand grip, in landscape mode, make sure you have the "fold" of your device at the bottom and hold your hand angled back so your device doesn't flop towards you.The Logo isn't "in your face" either.See photos for more.Very satisfied with my purchase.Highly recommend this product. 5
