In-Line DSL Filter w/ Splitter Installing a new land-line phone line I needed this In-Line DSL Filter w/ Splitter to separate my new phone and computer properly. I ordered this product which shipped FAST, is a GREAT product, excellent quality, and was GREAT value. Highly recommended. I bought two of them and I am glad I did. 5Miracle Product For Cheap Works as intended and does its job quite well. After installing this in my phone jack replacing what I thought was a similar device but turned out to just be a double headed extender to run two phones to my one phone jack, I noticed a climb in speed and consistency in my DSL. This won't happen for everyone but it most definitely did for me. Well Worth The BUY! 5Definitely recommend. Didn't realize this was what I needed to run my internet and phone, but once I was told this was what was needed I found it on Amazon....lucky me as now I am able to use my internet and be able to use the phone with all the noises! Definitely recommend. 5Perfect, big improvement A tech at my rural ISP suggested a new DSL filter to improve speed, since my connection had seemed to degrade over the years, and these filters can go bad over time. This inexpensive fix improved my ping speed 300% and made a huge difference in the time it takes to download or load images, webpages, etc... I wish I'd known this little device is important years ago! 5Professional I have had some issues with my internet and actually believe that Spectrum has installed it incorrectly I was hoping this would solve that problem but it is going to require more because if we lose power we cannot use our landline and this should work however they have also run it through the DSL cable so the phone still won't work! 5Different item than pictured Item received is not the item that is pictured.Works but does drop the connection at times.Photos shows my old filter which is like the one pictured. The larger one on the right is what I received. 3This is simply the most glorious of super amazing DSL Filters. This is simply the most glorious of amazing DSL Filters.--Plugs into my phone jack? Check--Accepts a phone cord to go to my telephone? Check--Accepts a SECOND cord to go to my DSL Modem? Check--Check, check, check. It plugs, it takes plugs, it splits things, it has little wires and some plastic? M----Effing Check. If you're looking for a DSL in-line Filter with splitter, than look no further because that is what this is, and that is what it does. CHECK. 5Poor quality control Item was broken. Neither phone nor modem could connect to the line. There was a rattling sound inside. Because it wasn't worth returning, I pried it open. There was a piece of the electronics inside that was not connected to anything. Poor quality control. 1Not bad. I've decided to give this little gizmo a try.I needed 2 DSL filters for my "Plain Jane" corded phone and cordless digital phone. The one attached to the "Plain Jane" is also hooked up to my ActionTech wireless gateway router/modem. The one attached to the cordless is acting like a single filter. Yes I know I could have bought a single but I was skimping on the S&H. Amazon didn't have a single filter listed that was made/sold by this company.I like how it's so easy to install. Just snap the plugs into the sockets. The sockets are clearly marked for Phone line and DSL line.I've been doing some testing and I noticed that the awful noise has gone away. My Upload and Download speeds seem to have improved as well. The price is fair compaired to retail stores like Radioshack. They had a simular product at $19.95. WTF???HHAHAH counting the S&H and sales taxes I got 2 filters for HALF the price Radioshack charges. 4this device might work fine. I just didn't know if it would work ... To be fair, this device might work fine. I just didn't know if it would work on our DSL line, took a chance, but it did not. And when I couldn't get it to work on my DSL line, I called the ISP and opened a trouble ticket, and their tech showed up and installed the right one for free. Be sure this is the right one for your line before you order it. 3
