    Best Case ... I was looking for two things when searching for a case for my Galaxy S3.1. Protection2. Thin profile3. FunctionalityThis Case has it all. I've seen and tried many cases,, but it either has looks but no protection or protection with a lot of bulkiness.Incipio Silicrylic hard case looks very nice, keeping a minimal thickness while maintaining its ability to protect the case. The silicon partof the case fits snugly on the phone with all the button layouts perfectly placed. The hard shell has a nice soft feel to it and it secures the siliconcover tightly. All the plugs are easily accessible, and no problem using the speakerphone function. Comes with a Screen protector that works very well.This case definitely beats Otterbox commuter series.If you are looking for a sleek case that looks sexy and offer very good protection, This case is for you!! If its just protection and only protectionthen you can find other case that offers more.This case will not disappoint. 5Good, but a couple problems Overall, I think the case is good for the money. I bought this because I figured I'd try something different than the Seidio Active I had for my old phone because this was cheaper, in stock with Prime, and I liked the yellow.For the most part, it does the job. I have two problems worthy of note:1. It is slick. The plastic that covers most of the back has no texture or "rubberized" feel. Makes me nervous handling it with one hand, feels like it could fly out of my hand at any moment if I squeeze wrong.2. My microphone doesn't work well with it on. It's fine for regular phone talking, but my phone simply cannot pick up my voice properly when I attempt to use any of the S-Voice commands or speech-to-text. Removing the case immediately resolves the issue. I may try manually opening up the mic hole a little more to see if it helps.Minor nit-pick: I wish the yellow was more "solid" yellow and less neon yellow. It does make it kind of look like safety equipment.EDIT: One other note, the screen protector that came with mine was sharply bent on one of the lower corners, so it is non functional. I don't like the giant size of the cutout at the bottom (wide enough to not cover the soft-buttons) so I probably wouldn't have used it anyway. Running without one on for now. 3Superb Case! I didn't think I'd like the black case on the Pebble Blue Galaxy S3 but I do. The fit and feel of this case is superb. The buttons line up perfectly and are easier to find and push with the case on. The case is a combination of soft touch hard plastic and silicone/rubber which ads some bulk to the phone, but it's a reasonable trade off for the protection it provides. I actually like holding the phone better when it's in the case. I haven't dropped the phone yet, which I believe is due to the increased grippiness the case provides. When I do finally drop it I'm very confident the case will protect it. I spent many hours researching cases and reading reviews. I am confident this one of the best cases you can buy for this phone. Highly recommended.UPDATE: I finally dropped the phone from waist height and it landed face down on concrete. NO DAMAGE! This 100% confirms my decision to buy this case. 5Very nice idea but has it's flaws The idea of having both a soft inner shell and a hard exterior case wrapped around this phone sounds great. At first feel, this case is well made and once installed on the phone feels very good to handle. The openings for the speaker and the charger/auxillary input are perfectly placed. The rubber neatly seats around the edge of the phone and the outer hard case secures to the four corners of the rubber wrapped phone. It's thin enough together to be placed in a docking holder without an issue. My problem didn't occur until after pulling in and out of clothing pockets. It seems that the outer shell easily lets the phone loose on one end of the hard case corner. It happens almost everytime I remove my phone from any pocket. At first it wasn't a huge deal but after being somewhere all day and having to pull my phone in and out of pockets the whole time, it can be pretty tedious having to partially remove the plastic casing to wrap the rubber around the phone again. Overall, I would give this case 3 1/2 stars because when it does stick to the phone, it feels great and looks very nice all the way around. 3Minimal bulk; good grip; above-average protection; nice looking After trying many different types of cases from soft silicone, to semi-soft TPU, to hard polycarb shells, I've finally settled on this hybrid silicone/polycarb case from Incipio after reading (and agreeing with) the rave reviews online.As long as you don't need the ultimate protection of something like a bulky Otterbox (and most of us don't), then this Incipio Silicrylic hybrid case affords you very good screen and drop protection with its dual layers, while adding not that much more bulk than your standard TPU case, and it looks good too.Since only the exposed sides are grippy silicone, and the outer shell a harder semi-grippy plastic, the phone slides in and out of your pocket very easily. The silicone also isn't a lint magnet like some other pure silicone cases tend to be. The overall texture of the case is hard to describe, but it's very nice -- in fact it's so nice that I have to admit that I love 'stroking it' just for the fun of it. :)And finally, for those of us who swap batteries often, this case is much easier to put on and remove than just about any other case I could name (except pure silicone). 5Great feel. Bounces nice. My previous SIII got dropped and broke the screen. When I got a replacement I bought this and I've dropped it multiple times (sometimes from the nether reaches of space) and it just bounces and the phone is fine. it does add some girth but that's to be expected for the level of protection. All of the holes and buttons are in the right place. It rarely comes off unless I do something to make it come off. It also has a good feel, making it easy to hold. When wearing jeans that rubberized coating does make it hard to take out of pocket but I think that's fine for making the grip about perfect. One thing I'll say is that I got a black one for my wife's phone and a blue one for my phone, thinking they would be easy to tell apart if we had them next to each other.... well, unless you are in direct sunlight the difference between the black case and blue case is practically zero. I routinely pick up my wife's phone... but I guess that means I should have gotten her the white case. 5Ordered for myself, then bought 3 more as gifts...Very good protection. I bought this for my Mom after she upgraded to a smartphone. These cases actually make it much easier to operate your phone because the Samsung Galaxy S III is very thin and smooth, which makes it hard to grip. The case enables the side buttons perfectly and also gives you more grip to use these buttons easily. I had purchased a similar Incipio case for myself (for Google Nexus) about 1.5 years ago and it's still in perfect shape. Since that time I've also purchased a case for my Dad and my Husband (Galaxy case), who are both very happy with it.Only two pieces of advice. My original case has white as part of it, the white part has started to look dirty and I can't clean it off, so I would advise ordering a color or black/grey option. You also must get a screen protector. 5Great Case Got my black Incipio Silicrylic Hard Shell Case with Silicon for a good price. You'll will get three pieces of protection: A screen protector, the silicon case, and the hard shell case. As you may already know the screen protector protects the screen from scratches. The silicon protects the phone from dents and scratches on the corners of the phone, it also helps absorb shocks when dropped. As for the hard shell piece its there to hold on to the silicon for better grip and adds more shock absorbency.Pro:Great Protection from dropsscreen protector includedGood priceSnug fitGood quality feel, doesn't feel cheapNot too difficult to put onPLUS! It doesn't not make the phone bulky, that it may feel like a brickCut outs for the mics, camera, speaker, flash, headset socket, and charge connection is easily accessibleCons:Tends to be a lint magnet, but not TOO bad. I had no problem texting with one hand before but now I have to use two hands, but it's no big deal.Overall, this case is great! Not to much cons, and lots of pros that will make you want to buy it. The protection is very good, but not quite like the Outterbox series but other than that the Incipio Case still holds its own as a great 3 piece protection case for the Galaxy S3. 4Good Case minor issues Overall this case is good at what it does. Dual layer protection for your phone, not a lot of bulk. I bought some other cases as well, and this case is comparable to the Ballistic LifeStyle case from a size. Actually Incipio is slightly smaller, but not much.For me the downside to this case is the Silicone/rubber layer. It provides some "grip" but it's a tad much. I wear dress clothes often, and in dress pants pocket or button down shirt pockets, it grabs at the pockets and makes it difficult to remove. I also have a similar model from Ballistic SG, which is dual layer, and their "silicone/rubber" does not grab at my pockets.And the included screen protector? Wow, very short all around and does not like the curves at the top or bottom. Will be pulling it off soon. 3Ultimate protection and style. This case is the best case in terms of protection and style. This is basically a much better looking otterbox. The two layers look like they could survive a fall from shoulder height. The incipio has just the right grip in the right places, I can slip the case and phone in jeans easily. I cannot stress enough how good looking this case goes with my s3. Offers great drop protection and is relatively thin. Now this does not offer the same protection as an otterbox, BUT still has great drop protection due to the silicon. Phone is still pretty thin, no finger prints. Yeah I would recommend this over the otterbox and the candyshell (my other considerations). Also comes with a screen protector, but I didn't put that on. Pretty easy taking off, putting back on is a bit tricky. You have to line the silicone with the hard shell just right, not a dealbreaker though. BUY THIS!!! 5
