    Thin metal, screws too long Well, I had wanted to love these towel holders but I don't. They look nice enough when installed but all the metal except for the bar is thin and substandard compared to other products out there -- I expect that will cause me troubles down the road and I should have returned these. The bar itself IS solid though. I took the advise of a few others here and installed it backwards to keep the bar from coming off -- you'll have to do this. Sadly, it still comes off sometimes. You can't just yank and go with your paper towel. I wouldn't recommend these nor would I buy again. 2Nice product! Worth the money! I mounted it under the cabinet. Just hang it backwards so when you pull and tear the paper towel from the front the rod doesn't pop out! Not one problem! 5Rod falls off constantly It is nice and sleek, but the rod constantly falls off when you go to pull the paper towel off. There is no way to secure the rod to the holder. Not good for kids, or even using one hand to tear the paper towel. I wish I had known this before I mounted it, I wouldn t have bought it. 3I like the way this paper towel holder looks I like the way this paper towel holder looks, but the bar that holds the paper towels often pops off and the paper towels fall off. It doesn't bother me that much, but it sends the hubby over the edge =)). We mounted it under the cabinet and thought perhaps if we reversed the direction it was mounted that it might work better. Nah, didn't make it any better. 3Hangs just fine. Love the way it looks, and it works just fine. We have it hanging below a cabinet. The included screws were too large, they would have poked through the cabinet bottom, so I used shorter ones. It rolls nicely when taking a piece off the roll, and it's super easy to change rolls. 5Looks great in my kitchen Looks great in my kitchen!! I purchased three. The only thing I would recommend is be sure the hardware you are attaching it with is suitable for the surface you are attaching it to. I used a screw that was a little too long the first time and it went straight through my cabinet door! Oops. The product itself is great though and I am pleased with the quality. 53/8 of an inch too short A paper towel holder is one of those things that once you've installed it, you should never have to think about it again. I am irritated with this holder daily, it's too short. I've tried different brands of paper and not one has fit right. Don't even try a mega roll, it won't roll at all. Even with a standard roll it's constantly falling off very frustrating. 1High-end but not high-priced. This towel rack looks great and just right above my 1940s enameled steel sink. It would look just as good in a contemporary kitchen.It couldn't be more functional or simpler to use. No knob to screw and unscrew, there's plenty of clearance to hang large rolls, and the rolls stay put when pulled.The friend who installed the rack for me, in just a couple of minutes, was so impressed by it that he decided to buy one for himself. 5Beautiful but not functional Beautiful design but the bar & paper towels are constantly 'hopping' out of the holder. Every other time we pulled off a paper towel on an angle it lifted one end & the whole bar out if the track. We finally used super small transparent rubber bands on both ends to keep it in the track. 3Love this! We installed it on the bottom of ... Love this! We installed it on the bottom of our cabinets so that it hangs down, and you just have to make sure that you install it with the hooks open toward the wall so you don't pull the roll off every time you grab a paper towel. By far the most stylish paper towel holder I've seen, and it was a GREAT price. I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy again. We did have to use shorter screws to install it on the cabinet bottom so that they didn't come through the other side. 5
