I bought this before the S8+ was released on the ... I bought this before the S8+ was released on the 13th, on the 17th I ordered my phone. However, it came early, and I ended up buying a otter box.out of being a precautionary. However, I know this will save someone sometime... These are exactly the same as the Otter-Box., The quality is the same except, you do spend 60.00.. I ended up buying 2 and will have them just in case.. Think about it this way, the phone is almost a 1000.00, I want to keep it the same I got it...PROTECTED 5More than I expected! Arrived on time AND included 3 pre-made inlay designs and a DIY stencil for the back clear window. The case fits very snug and does not interfere with the screen at all. Very durable, great quality, will definitely recommend and order again. 5A klutz who LOVES this case--two years, NOT A SCRATCH l drop my phone all the time. I'm a busy mom who misses a lot of sleep and I sometimes fall asleep and drop the phone right out of my hands. Also I just drop it sometimes because I'm a klutz. I bought a glass cover for the front but never put it on, it seemed clunky, and I'm glad I didn't, because I've never needed it. Even with all the falls, my phone doesn't have a scratch. I've had the phone and the case for more than two years and my phone looks new. Which is amazing for me--I broke and cracked and scratched the glass of my previous phone numerous times. I finally gave up and just kept the cracked glass until the new edition came out. I hate huge bulky cases too, and this one isn't too big, I can still fit it in my pocket. I have no problems using any of the ports, and it does work with my wireless chargers. A really great cover, and when it comes time to upgrade, I hope there will be a similar model for my new phone. 5Almost perfect. For the price, you can't beat this. It feels very solid in my hands and makes me feel safe to take my phone out again. The bezel doesn't get in the way of your ability to swipe to the edge and it doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight to the phone.The only caveat, that didn't get a 5 star is this is NOT easy to take apart to get your phone in. You literally need a knife or razor to pry the plastic from the interior casing to get it off. But other than that, it's great. 4Great safe durable case. Look no further. I first wrote a review on the I-Blason screen protector. I am now writing for the case. I do NOT have a contract phone. I paid full retail price for my Samsung Galaxy 8. A very expensive purchase for me. So I wanted to be sure my phone was protected. I read many reviews on many cases and came to this one. Best decision! I dropped my phone right top corner 2 days after installing the protector. That corner of the protector cracked and shattered HOWEVER my screen is in PERFECT condition. I can't explain the relief I felt. My phone is in mint condition still after the fall due to the protection of both screen protector and case. The case is very durable and has great grip. Does not make it bulky. The face plate keeps the screen protected without losing any functionality. The back of the case is smooth so I was able to install a pop socket. No loss of sound quality at ALL. And the design is nice too. The ONLY flaw to this case are the very tight port plugs on the bottom of the case. Of COURSE they help to maintain a dust free port. However, I felt that as I had my charger plugged in that the port plug was putting too much pressure. So I snipped the sides of the port plug to loosen the tension. It's still attached to the case doing it's job even with my modification. Kudos to I-Blason for their products. And kudos to me for researching and finding them! 5Probably Returning I have several issues with this case.-The pink color does not match the color in the pictures. The case that I received is a very princess pink - it looks very childish. Instead of the contrast between the two pieces of the case like in the picture, the case just looks like it doesn't match.-It was very hard to get the case apart to put it on my phone. I almost gave up for fear that I would break the case.-The case edges do not extend past the screen, like the description says. If I drop the phone screen down, the screen, not the case, will hit the ground.The case does feel nice in my hands; I particularly like how the back feels. It includes a template to cut out your own backgrounds for the case, which is a nice touch. 2Almost perfect & worth ever cent A super sturdy design. Some might say bulky, but that's what you need to protect a glass phone. I love how the top snaps into the bottom part. I have used PET and tempered glass screen protectors and most will fit this case. A few places for improvement: The back is too smooth. It is easy to put the phone down on a table and have it slide across. A tpu insert around the camera opening would correct the problem. I would appreciate a clear case option so I can see all of my beautiful SGS8.Let me know if you update this product; I would be willing to beta test it for I-Blason 4Can take multiple drops. Had this since the S8 was launched. Due entirely to my own fault for using it with shorts that were untied(I like to wear the and1 shorts from walmart for work and around the house)my phone has fell from my hip to the pavement five times now and my phone has survived without a problem. Case is dinged up, and today when it fell twice within 15 seconds of each other, it finally broke where the belt attachment clip connects to the case. This is why I am writing this review because I came here to buy this again. Again, five, count'm FIVE drops from almost 3 feet each drop and the case did it's job, and for a S8. Works for me. I'm not used to dropping my phone but this time around I will make sure I go back to not dropping my phones.UPDATE: After owning my second case, I very shortly after dropped my phone yet again while getting out of my truck, and it broke the clip again. The clip is the weak point of this case along with not being able to use a good glass screen protector. For that I drop it to a 4 star. Honestly for many it will be a deal breaker with the glass screen protector problem. This phone just isn't going to play nice with phone cases and glass screen protectors. I'm not sure any case will with this phone's screen design. Anyway, I'm going with Otterbox next. Their clips are alot stronger. 4Cracked screen.... My phone Fell from my hand a 4ft drop and the top left corner of my phone cracked... so my suggestion is keep looking for a different case.... 1Seems like a pretty good case; solid and colorful I just got this case today. Had a few challenges getting it on, but overall not too bad. The included instruction drawing does help - I learned you just have to pay attention to it ha ha.Case is pretty and seems very solid. I am a little worried that my screen seems more "out there" than it was in my previous minimal grippy case, but upon turning the phone over and placing it upside down, I can see that the top and bottom are raised to keep the screen off the surface. I'm not sure how much protection this would offer in the event of a bad drop/fall, but that is why I also have a screen protector on it. My current screen protector is shattered in one corner from my husband knocking my phone out of my hand (did it's job, I guess!) so I am waiting for a new one. I do still have the old one on though and it seems to fit well enough with the case.I usually toss my phone in my purse and then lose it in that black abyss, so hopefully this will help me find it more easily. I am not using the belt clip that comes with it, as that seems very bulky and isn't my style.I noticed a review that says the case is slippery and the phone will slide across a surface. I could see where that might be true, especially in comparison to the grippier little "glove" case I have had on mine since July. So, that is something to be aware of. I once accidentally left my previous phone on the top of my van and drove about a mile - it stayed put thanks to the case I had at the time. This one I think would slide off. So word to the wise - don't leave it on top of your car!Aesthetically it's pleasing. The pinks are nice and bright, although the back that shows the inserts or whatever picture you opt to put in that spot is a little muted, since the back of the case is frosted and not totally clear.Rated 4 stars for the potential sliding issue and because I'm not sure how convinced I am that my screen would be totally protected if I dropped it. And I'm not testing that aspect to see how it does! ;-) 4
