    Not worth the time or money This product was a complete waste of time and money. I taped the down the top edge and held down the stencil with my hand. After two coats of paint, the thin pieces on the stencil had completely adhered to my working surface and almost every edge bled. Now I get to spend more time sanding it down, repainting and then purchase another option. Unless you are using a minimal amount of paint, I do not receommend using this product, and even then I would be wary. The cardboard is more flimsy that I had invisioned, and it is clearly not sealed well enough to be painted over and still stay together. 1Perfect size for painting the house number on the curb Perfect size for painting the house number on the curb. 1. Wire brush the curb. 2. Mask off with blue painter's tape. 3. Apply 2 coats of white (I used glossy Rust-Oleum). 4. Tape down the numbers. 5. Spray over with glossy black. 6. Remove the stencils. 7. Stray 2 coats of glossy clear. 8. Remove the painter's tape. Looks great. Bam - Done - Next! 5... I had been wanting to make and they worked great! I used these for a DIY doormat I had been wanting to make and they worked great! 5Worked really well for spray painting numbers on large trash ... Worked really well for spray painting numbers on large trash bins, but being made of paper means that one is always concerned about storage and reuse. If I were ordering again I would try to get something in plastic or something which made me feel more confident about storage and reuse. 3Great sturdy paper stencils with a good 5-6 uses in them These were perfect. Made from tough paper I used some of them 5 or 6 times (created 8 t-shirts with wording on them). There are all letters of the alphabet included, doubles of some of the more popular ones, numbers 1-9 and also a few punctuation signs. The only one missing was the hashtag!One piece of advice, hold them down firmly and don't overload the paintbrush, if there is too much paint on it it sometimes seeps under the stencil and botches it up a little. I did a test run and figured out the best technique beforehand, and was very happy with the result. 5Good Quality Stencils - Highly Recommended These Number And Letter Stencils are good quality and just the right size for our needs. We took over an old National Guard Armory and wanted to maintain the military feel of the building, so are using these stencils to paint directional signs on the walls.We have used several of these a few times and they have held up nicely.Highly Recommended!CFH 5Lightweight 3-inch Stencils These ST-3 stencils came in different packaging from what is shown. The 3-inch stencils are pre-cut into lightweight brown cardboard, but you have to punch out the letter/number shapes yourself (only the one in the very front of the package comes punched-out). They are heavier weight than a brown grocery bag, but lighter weight than a cardboard cereal box. Overall they are pretty flimsy and not what I was expecting from a description that says, "Made of heavy duty stencil board".Each 3-inch High stencil is pre-cut into the cardboard. The outer dimensions of each cardboard rectangle are approximately 3-inch Wide by 4.5-inch High. You line-up the bottom edge of each stencil card to get them aligned in a straight line. There are no alignment holes in the cardboard corners.I think if they had used thin plastic instead of lightweight cardboard, they would last much longer and be more resilient to wet paint and markers. I would say that this product is good for light-duty use. 3Got The Job Done I ll start off by saying these letters come perforated - NOT ready to use. It took me a good 15 minutes to very carefully remove each letter. The cardstock is very thin and a bit fragile. They can definitely be reused if you handle them carefully. Some of the letters come with two copies but it s very random which ones. And this set also includes numbers and symbols which is convenient. Overall, you get what you pay for but it definitely got the job done and I m satisfied. Just took a lot longer than expected with having to remove the perforations and be extra careful handling them.If my review was helpful, please let me know! 4I LOVE, LOVE I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE STENCILS!!!! They are thin enough to work with easily yet thick enough so they don't tear easily and they stay stiff, even after getting saturated with paint from continuous multiple use in the two solid days I used them to make my deterrent hunting signs to try and keep hunters honest out here in the boonies (CCTV cameras will hopefully help this year too!).These stencils come with only one letter or number per card and each card is darn near the same size so they're super easy to line 'em up on your board, tape 'em down and spray paint or color in. Not near as much measuring and prep work as with the first set of stencils I unfortunately bought and wasted money on that were way too bendy plastic and had so many letters and symbols crammed onto one card that cutting them out in easy to use "squares" (like these cardboard ones) was virtually impossible. Plus, these are LESS THAN HALF the price as the crappy blue plastic ones!! They were also very easy to punch out if you're patient and take your time with them. I WILL be buying these again as needed. Love 'em! 5Great for Curb Painting, Reused Multiple Times Over Used numbers for Curb Painting, painting the address to help identify house number. Worked great with a light spray adhesive on the back. I was able to reuse for 6 houses! at which point they likely could have continued to work but I was pretty done with curb painting by then.For my application I wish I could have purchases multiple numbers (ie: two 4's) as some addresses had repeat numbers. 5
