    Great product for low hanging showers! This is one in a long line of this product. I purchase one every two years. For some reason whoever installed our shower put it at about 5 6 height when I m 5 8 and my husband is 6 6 This arm is a LIFESAVER! It makes hair washing a breeze, we no longer have to crouch down to get our hair wet and lathered. The only downside is they last about a year then develop a slow leak at the joints. After another year it s time to purchase a new one and start the process all over again. 5The electric company just raised our electric bill by $20per month and this is a good way to save on electric since the kids wer This is so handy. I bought this because my shower head in the kids bathroom was actually too high for them to stay warm in the shower without turning the hot water all the way up. The electric company just raised our electric bill by $20per month and this is a good way to save on electric since the kids were draining the 50 gal hot water tank when they both took a shower! My husband and I can take a shower back to back and this doesn't happen. Now, the shower head in their bathroom is their height and they don't crank the hot up all the way. The best part is that it can be raised back up easily by just turning back the tightening screw and positioning the shower head wherever you need it and tightening it back again. So, if your shower head is too high, too low, or you have a bunch of short people draining your hot water tank--this will help. I needed no tools to install. I just unscrewed the shower head and screwed this in its place and put the same old shower head on the end of that. Done. 5Solid piece for connection The product is a great solid piece. The big issue is the bottom where it meets the wall is solid making it impossible to mount straight causing the head of the shower to rest on the curtain making this item unusable. If that piece moved allowing me to tighten it while still keeping the attachment straight this would of been perfect. And because I can not use it and wasted my time and money. It gets 1 star. 1Works perfectly if installed correctly. Purchased this for a friend who had just moved into a new home and wanted to install a flexible hose hand shower without drilling any new holes into the tiled shower wall. Unfortunately, with the height of the current fixed shower head and hand shower she purchased she had a hard time reaching the hand shower and needed something adjustable that would alleviate this problem, and this worked perfectly. What we discovered while installing it was that you definitely need to use plumbers tape to completely seal the arm's connection threads on both ends.....or it will spray or leak like it did with my friend, and you need to tighten the arm enough, but not so tight till it breaks. It also tightened to just the right position. At the end of the day it worked perfectly and my friend will be ordering more for all the other 3 bathroom showers. Package came fast and well packed in a cardboard box....and the seller reached out after the purchase to check on how things went. 5Fell apart The HotelSpa extender arm worked for 2 weeks. It didn't leak, and the arms tightened enough to keep a heavy shower head from falling down. After two weeks of use, the lower adjuster completely popped apart and water sprayed everywhere.The lack of a pivoting adapter on the back also made it unattractive. At full tighten, which is necessary to avoid leaks, the arm is at a 45 degree angle and looks really awkward in my shower.I can't recommend. Spend a little more for higher quality. 1Gives a great height for a rain shower head. I added this extension to raise up an 8" rain shower head in place of the low shower head at my daughter's dorm room. She, her roommate and suite mates love it. Dad's the hero now. I only had to adjust the pipe it connected to, to get the perfect vertical angle as the base nut is not a swivel. This is great as it won't mive once installed. Thank you for the 11" extension to use the rain shower head.5 stars. I recommend this product. 5Extremely pleased!!! Very good! I needed to lower my hand held shower head and also removed it easily to clean the bathroom often. I have tried lots of other products like suction cups. They never last and they fall easily. I finally saw this product, but I did not have hope that it would work. The installation was easy but tricky, I had to get some plumbing tape because it was leaking. After using the plumbing tape the leaking stopped. It is very well made and very secure. I waited for a few months to see if it would give me problems because of the bad experiences I had with other products. I am so happy that it works and is still working. So I bought another one for another bathroom. I highly recommend it. The price is good too. 5Might go longer... but I m definitely satisfied! I m quite the wordsmith, as you can tell from my headline lolBought this and a large square shower head to upgrade our standard... basic shower setup. This extension arm is really solid. My only gripe that I share with others that have also purchased this and mentioned, is that the nut that connects to the shower pipe is fixed, so you have to rotate the entire extension arm to get it tighten.I ve let the shower run for about 5 minutes at the temperature I typically use (which apparently is ~103 F) and there were no leaks, no weird noises... nada. It works great.Now to touch on the title (harharhar), we have just shy of 23 of space (its more like 22 7/8 ) straight up from the start of the threads on the shower pipe. I m thinking about getting a longer extension arm (maybe 16 or 18 ) to put the new shower head up much higher and be able to point it straight down. I dunno. But either way, I m happy. It s definitely an upgrade and a great accessory for it. 5Building quality seems good. But It works. Building quality seems good.But, it has design issue. One end connection is fixed, as shown in red circle. This makes the arm only can be adjusted up and down. but not right and left. When connection is fully tighted, the arm may not be in the middle of shower room. 3Feels amazing, a little difficult to install for the person who has never installed a shower head Ok, I am as unskilled person you have ever met. I have only installed one shower head in my life that I had to just twist on like a soda cap. So, this was a little different. It was still pretty easy to install but I did keep making mistakes (like putting the adhesive backed mobile shower head holder upside-down). I ended up using two rolls of plumbers tape because I could not get it to stop squinting out everywhere lol. But one of the joints that I KNOW is not my fault squirts water out. But I'm poor and this feels amazing so to me, it's worth it. It has good pressure, it's big, both shower heads work separate from each other but also together if you want. Mine looks like a 2 year old put it together, but I'm just proud I did it lol. I did get the extender arm. I have had it for a few months and still love it 3
