    Solid cable adapter. As always Hosa has really quality cables and adapters. They don't skimp on the wire they use, it is flexable and sturdy, it is good quality silicone rubber. I wish I had not tried the cheap way out with some really skimpy cables, not to say all cheap brands are bad. Some inexpesive products can be just as good, but you will usually pay more for the good ones. I have no idea where Hosa cables are made, but these are reliably good. I did find one faulty Hosa cable once, but they (Amazon) sent me a replacement right away, and paid for the shipping back of the bad one. Happens to the best.I have and definatly will buy Hosa cables again. Good stuff, and the price/quality are good.Randy 5Durable and work perfect... I always liked Hosa products...they appear to use lighter gauge wire...but never had a problem...had set of midi cables that I still in the field formusic performance...still going strong after 30 years 5Works great on my stereo keyboard amp I use this cable to go from my keyboard's headphone out to my amp's L & R inputs. Gets the job done without having to attach a separate cable splitter. Been using it for several months now, without any problems. Does exactly what I need it to do. 5Good for a temporary fix. I purchased this as a temporary fix until I could afford a Mogami 1/4" to XLR cable. (My mixer (Presonus) has 1/4"trs and XLR on all channels) I'll give it this, it did get the sound to the board but the preamp was working in overtime. (Usually set around 3:00) If you're on a tight budget or just starting out (I understand that one) this would be ok to grab. If you want a real cable stick with Mogami or ProCo. 3Not for guitars - a total crackle fest! The capacitance in this cable is so high that the slightest movement causes loud (as loud as the signal flowing through it) crackling. I attempted to use it with a guitar, as well as with line level signals. Total junk. 1excellent sound quality and great durability these cables are great and they have a few applications for me. The first application is going from a stereo keyboard 2 a single quarter inch stereo in.The second application is for insert effects on a mixer you use the stereo single quarter out and you use the other ends right and left for the sanding Return of the effect. It effectively ads an effects Loop or manu other kinds of processing you want to put in there.I use them in my studio I go from a stereo output on my keyboard to a single quarter inch input on a patchbay. 5the cable feels nice, but I wish the ends were a bit ... I bought this for hooking up two Boss FS-5U non-latching footswitches to my RC-3 loop station. It works but the connectors are just so huge that it makes it difficult to put the RC-3 pedal next to anything else because that jack is on the right-hand side. Overall, the cable feels nice, but I wish the ends were a bit more conservative. 4Effects loop for DOD Rubberneck I'm using this to run an MXR Phase 95 in the effects send of the DOD Rubberneck delay pedal. It's well made and does what it's supposed to. Having the ring/tip sides clearly marked is really helpful so you don't have to guess which side is which. 5YOU HAD ONE JOB... (and did it) It's a patch cable! It allowed me to run from a stereo headphone out on a keyboard to two mono ins on a PA mixer.What more could you ask? Nothing more! Since sometimes cables end up not being quite what you hope, it was a relief to have one do precisely what I expected. 5Color Coding of TS plugs was incorrect. Appears to work fine, but the color coding on the dual 1/4" TS tips was the opposite of the diagram on the back of the package. The Tip End/(SEND) is shown as black and the Ring End/(RETURN) is shown as red on the package diagram and in actuality it was just the opposite. Fortunately, they also affix white shrink tubing on each connector that was labelled correctly as "Ring" and "Tip." When using this cable to plug in effects pedals to my L.R. Baggs Para Acoustic D.I. it switched off all signal when I plugged the Dual TS plugs in according to the incorrect color coding. Plugged in according the shrink tube labels it works perfectly. If it had been labelled correctly I would have given it 5 stars. 3
