Perfect size and sturdinessI have had small fabric card carriers in the past, but they just didn't offer much protection. This card case is just the right size for my needs. It will hold 8 SD cards and that is more than I would need for a day of shooting. The cards are very easy to insert, it holds them in place well and it offers a decent amount of protection. It should definitely keep them from getting bent or broken and I believe it offers enough protection from rain. I doubt that it is submersible (not going to test that), but it should hold up to a decent rain without a problem.I popped a few old cards I had lying around in it and attached a picture. You can see that they are spaced nicely and the finger holes make removal easy. As you can see from my other attached picture, the case itself is slightly larger than my lens cap. It fits easily in my back pocket or my camera bag where it normally resides.This case is great and I have decided to order a second one for my teenage son that has decided that there is more to photography than he can accomplish with his iPhone. The material that holds the sd or micro sd cards inside is too stiff. It is difficult to get the card to seat itself in the spaces and nearly impossible to get them out. Every time I try to remove a micro sd card makes we wonder if this is going to be the time the card will split because it is too tight in the space. DO NOT BUY. There are better products out there such as much more expensive Pelican case for sd and micro sd cards.1Cards won't stay putThis case is sturdy with a nice closure. But the reason I'm rating it so low is that it doesn't hold the cards in place. I've now used it for a couple months and anytime I open it, the cards on the left side have fallen out. I can't make them stay in their slots. Very annoying and impractical. I'll be buying another case from a different brand.2Could fit the cards a little better Durable case. The mini sd card slots are a little tight to fit the cards in, almost scares me that I'll break one putting it in. And if you don't get it in just right they'll be bouncing round inside, have to be careful when you open the case that you don't drop them. The larger card slots dont seem to be tight enough, they also fall out as well. It would be great if there were minor adjustments to each slot. 2Great case for SD cards I only take it out in the field when I am going to fly my drone or use still or video camera. So far I am very happy with it. I like the small size and the secure closure. Others have written that it might be subject to small dents. I haven't experienced this at all but even if it did, I don't care as long as I have the SD cards secured inside. I like the smaller size too as I only take 4-6 cards at one time. 5They could be slightly more versatile.I should have paid closer attention to the photos. Cards can be inserted in only 1 orientation, i.e. "top-side-up".The cases would be more versatile if the cards could also be inserted top-side-down. (See photo: Honsky case on the left, other brand on the right).The other brand allows inserting the cards top-side-down, which is a method I use to easily identify cards that have been used recently and have fresh footage on them, i.e. cards I don't want to write-over "today".I bought 4 of these cases in different colors in order to differentiate case color by SD card size. My cameras record to SD cards, and I use 1 case for 8 GB cards, 1 for 16 GB cards, 1 for 32, etc. With a different brand of case, when I need to use a blank/different card, I put the used one in the case top-side-down, remove the next empty one, and insert it to the camera. Because of the way the hard-foam insert is cut in the Honsky cases, they do not allow SD cards to be inserted "top-side-down". If in a hurried shooting situation, that makes it easier to use a card that has already been used. The difference in how the insert is cut is not easily noticed, so I highlighted them with lime-colored borders.Bottom line: these are adequate, but I prefer the ones that allow more versatile insertion of the SD cards.3Worth it.I like this little case. Although I wish the indents to remove the memory cards were on the other side. It just seems like I would be damaging to the memory card by digging my nail in there to remove it. It feels solid and holds what I need it too. It's basically a RFID card holder but for memory cards.5Originally was great but after three months..................I purchased this case in July of 2017. It is not November 2019. I have had an issue with this case that started around the third month of use. The interior rubber part that holds the cards no longer holds them securely in place. When I open it EVERYTIME two of the memory cards come out of their respective slots and end up either in the case itself or on the ground. I have learned to hold this in a position that of an opened book on a countertop so as to not have the cards fall out onto the ground. I ALWAYS have to do this and then once it is opened flat reinstall the cards. I have to close it fast to keep the cards from falling back out when I close it. It is tricky to say the least. This case lives in an air conditioned environment and has never been abused. I am pretty much over it at this point and will be buying a new case. I think this time I will stay away from this type and get something with sleeves as I know those will hold the cards more securely. Not sure if I got a defective unit or what. Like I said earlier, it worked great for about three months then I started having this issue. I will say this, the case itself is solid and I have had no issues whatsoever with it. I just wish it held the cards securely in place.2This is exactly what I wanted! A pocket-sized, padded SD holder that will hold the regular cards and adaptors as well as the micro chips. This is very small, just eight cards AND eight micro chips total. Just about the dimensions of a deck of cardsI mostly want to take this with me when I travel to switch in my camera. I don't like handling the micro chips--I'm too clumsy--but I like the idea that I can store extras behind the cards and adaptors. The foam is quite dense . . . perhaps it could be a bit thinner for an overall thinner package, regardless, I will buy again, in another color, when I'm ready. 5High Quality, Good Looking Case I am a passionate photographer and my SD cards fill up pretty quick. When that happens the hunt for a new card starts every single time, because those little things are champions in hiding ;-) So I finally got me this case, and I couldn t been happier. This case is well made, looks nice, and is easy to use. It now has a permanent place in my camera bag, and I will always know where to find a new SD when needed. I highly recommend this case for everyone who works with SD cards a lot and is looking for a high quality, good looking carrier for them. 5Cards don't stay in place and poor hinge design.My main purpose of this was to securely store my SD and micro SD cards during travels. Micro SD cards seem to fit very snugly to a point that I was afraid I will break them while putting them in. I inserted bunch of cards and shook the case to simulate real life scenario while traveling and the cards came loose. This was a big negative for me as I want the cards to stay in place and not fall off when I open the case.Another negative is the hinge design. It is a small strip of plastic and I got this feeling that opening/closing it multiple times will ultimately break the strip.1A good case for SD cardsIt's a very good storage case for extra camera memory cards. I think it's a little misleading to advertise it as 16 slot. It holds 8 each of two sized cards. But I knew that when I ordered it. When traveling, I get 4 cards and keep on left side until reformatted. Usually I back up each card on my iPad if I'm traveling, so I can trash those photos I don't want. When I get home I upload to my computer then reformat and return the card to left side. I like the size of this case. It is just like my RFID wallet. Each card fits easily and can be removed easily5
