    What to do with an old smart phone I had a brainstorm to take my old no longer used smart phone and make it a bedside alarm clock/radio. I needed a stand that can hold it and look cute too. It will work perfectly. 5returned the item. i had to take my very ... returned the item. i had to take my very slim phone cover off to even use it, and even then the hands popped off constantly and even shot across the room. 1It's Cute, But Not As Functional As I Thought, But Still Use My son has a hard time using it and it does not work well if you have a decent case on your phone., unless you are legit using it on a solid surface that is not slippery. Like, you won't be able to prob your phone up on your bed and have your wireless earbuds in, while your fav blanket is over your head all while you pretend to sleep so your kid will go to sleep/go back to sleep or nap or whatever. This thing won't work for that. It's durable though and aesthetically, I like the thumbs up. 4Only good without case Doesn't come close to holding a phone in any case, but can be used to prop one. Taking it out of the case to use it would make zero sense. It would be nice it the "hands" were flexible and stretch to fit the phone with case. 3depending on where the USB port is located on YOUR device...you may or may not have an issue. It arrived on time, and I did not have any issues with the seller, as it was a quick purchase... so I have not had any need to contact seller.The ONLY POTENTIAL issue with this holder, is that if you are wanting to charge your device while it is in the holder, depending on where the USB port is located on your device... the THUMBS area of this holder may-may not get in the way of charging your device. Mine is JUST BARELY able to sneak past the possible problem. .. hence the four star rating!My extra device is an older verizon phone.. I do not recall what it is right now. 5Great Buy Best invention ever! I am 100% satisfied w the size, quality, and function of this phone holder. As for all of the other reviewers complaining about the 90 degree positioning of the stand...was very obvious to me when ordering (by the pictures) that 90 degrees was how my phone would be positioned in the holder.I use my stand specifically for when I am making videos or FaceTiming my family and friends with my 6 month old Baby. Leaves my hands more free...I just set this on a floor or table when in need of video recording :) 5Cute This is a cute little stand. I bought it to use with a Samsung Galaxy S7. It works, but doesn't allow me to angle it like I need to. But it's still a really good stand, so no deduction in stars. I even tried it on my iPad Air2. To my shock, it actually works!! Only with the iPad in portrait position, but it's shocking that it pulls apart enough to fit! Nice!I was originally going to deduct a star because it's a hard plastic, not the soft rubbery finish it's supposed to be (based on multiple reviews). As others have written, it sticks the phone straight up not at an angle of your choice but it s cute, so I deal with it. Biggest challenge is keeping my four year old from running away with it!Update: if you use it in the thumbs down position, it does tip the screen favorably. 5It works good and I like it I use this at my desk at work.
