    Not so much for cases unless... No, they don't fit with a case on your phone. I have a simple little Samsung Galaxy Amp 2, with a thin case, if you put your cased phone in this stand, it will either not fit or be angled forward falling towards you, which really defeats the purpose of the stand because you could drop your phone without the help of a stand.. Anyway, lifehack, I used an X-Acto knife to shave away some of the rubber and plastic, sanded it a little with a nail file, and now I have a working stand, haha... I carry it around in my backpack and when I'm stuck out somewhere with boring people I can watch movies and music handsfree! haha.. 4Great quality! These kickstands are fantastic! My husband and I travel for business and we wanted something that would securely hold our phones while streaming movies during flights but would also fold into a very flat dimension. These stands are perfect - I was actually worried that they might be cheaply-made but the material is good-quality. We need to order more of them because they tend to grow legs when friends, family and co-workers see how useful they are. :) Excellent product! 5landscape mode problematic for me great for portraight mode on my phone, not so great for landscape mode because it sticks up into the screen a little bit. Watching full screen movies is annoying. I'd imagine the same problem for most modern phones/tablets with a thin bezil. Will try just cutting that part down with some scissors or somewith and see how that works. Other than that it works fine and folds up well and is cheap. 3Measure your electronic with case, HONSKY Fit requires MAX 3/8-Inch base for reading slot. SUPER LIKE: Neon colors, light weight, good support reading angle, folds flat and light in pocket (loud Yaaay & Claps). SUPER DISLIKE: BAH HUMBUG -3/8" book slot is too narrow for cellphone in a case especiallly battery case. Kindle reader in a case: Absolute pleasure as ever so light Honsky Vee opens to perfect reading angle for comfy eating while reading. If it's new latest Kindle, Honsky does not interfere with blasted start/expire button located in bottom rim of new Kindle [accidentally depressing that button expires the read (off)]. Bad design location---previous model Kindle installed start button in top right--excellent spot--shoulda left it there. Back to Honsky: If you enjoy reading while eating and your electronic fits the 3/8" slot, light weighted HONSKY is super efficient for EAR (Eating And Reading). 3Nice, unless you have a thick case. I got these to prop my phone up while on a business trip. I was actually able to use my phone and a bluetooth keyboard for note taking during meetings. I use another to watch videos while in the kitchen. I was going to give the purple one to my GF who has the same phone, but in a case, and it didn't fit the notches... so minus one star. 4Nice little stand for phones. May require slight alteration. For phones and maybe a small tablet, this is a good deal. It's an excellent choice for travel convenience or anytime you want to use your phone as an alarm, and it doesn't take up any space to speak of. My phone is in a case that required me to shave a little of the plastic off the back so it would fit in the slot. The job took less than five minutes with an exacto knife. My daughter's iPhone is in a thin case, and fit fine in the unit without adjustment. I have put my 10 inch tablet in this a couple of times (horizontally), but it makes me nervous. I'd suggest something more robust for a tablet; this isn't really designed for that anyway. 4Love 'em This type of stand is awesome. I bought a bag of 10 cheaper ones from china a while ago for like 90 cents a piece and gave some away. They must have been popular because the next time I wanted to get some (lost some and wanted more) they were $5 a piece. The price has come down for this kind now and since they're colored my wife can have her own and stop taking mine when she misplaces it or the cat knocks it under the bed :) 5Nice V Stands! These stands are lightweight and essential when watching videos. They are easy to store in a pocket or in a bag. These are fully plastic but don't feel flimsy.My LG V20 with a slim case fits no problem. I recommend these honsky stands. 5Perfect kickstand to compliment your phone I love the phone holder stands that i purchased. I keep one in my car, in my backpack and at my office. This allows me to prop up my LG G4 and watch a streaming movie/show without having to have a case with a built in kickstand. It was important to me to not have a case on my phone so i could show off the beauty of the leather back.These stands are very thin but sturdy and fit easily in your pocket. I love the purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stand. 5Good Value These work basically as advertised. I wanted to use them as a holder for my iPhone 7 Plus to allow me to read while dining alone, holding my phone at a comfortable viewing angle, and also portable to easily fit in my pants pocket all day without being in the way.They do that, but hold the phone so loosely that s it s difficult to scroll or tap the iPhone without moving it. And they work best when the phone is in landscape position. The holder cannot be open fully for the phone to be held in portrait position, which is how I usually prefer to read it.I used to use a Glif for this purpose (lost it somewhere on my travels), but thought these would do the job for a lot less money. They re okay considering the price, but I ve decided to bite the bullet and buy a Glif again. 4
