    Rusty-Prone Material I was really excited about this kit because it has all the things I need to start hanging decorations in my new apartment. Unfortunately, I went from super pumped it was delivered to super bummed I couldn't use it without potentially damaging my artwork.The kit arrived with over half of the contents rusted.The material that the nails/hooks/wires are composed of are prone to corrosion, so I wouldn't recommend it for use with sensitive artworks. 1I love this collection of useful hardware I love this collection of useful hardware! I've hung all kinds of pictures and art work with them and have used some of the eyelet screws to put in the top of wooden birdhouses so that I could hang them from a shepherd's hook. Perfect! My only complaint is that the nails are either too small or too big. There needs to be a middle ground -- long and thin nails. If hanging something heavy, I wouldn't recommend most of the hooks. But there is wire, etc. for larger pieces. Perhaps what I like most is that all of the bits I need for hanging items is in one nice little plastic case. I've been extremely pleased with this product. 5Best of the all-in-one picture hanging kits Did what I needed it to do and the parts seem to be pretty sturdy. There are cheaper versions of this type of kit that come with bendable nails and breakable brackets. Spend the extra $4 and get a kit like this that s actually worth hanging your valuable framed art with. 5Great wall hangers for pics I hang a lot of pictures in my house. All my frames are in the same color family and take up an entire wall. I also collect and frame a lot of WWII items. This combo pack of hooks is great. I can find a hook for every size need I have. They have all hung and stayed up with no issues for years. This is my 3rd box of hooks and will be buying more when the time comes. They hold everything from tiny square frames to large oversized maps of the south pacific. 5Happy Hanging After waiting way too long for my Hanging Kit to arrive, it finally did. If you check prices for picture hangers (in my case, hanging two clocks) they run around $9 for a few pieces. This kit provides a lot of hardware for the price, a fantastic deal. You get wire, hooks of different sizes, and nails. Amazon bent over backwards to help me get this kit. Great customer service. 5The equipment inside looks fine, just not for the folks who care about ... As mentioned by another individual, the packaging for this is subpar. Everything is all scrambled together, and in my case was delivered in a box and things fell out (and fell out of the box as I picked it up!). It's the right size with the correct & proper hardware to handily allow a variety of types, sizes, weights to mount whatever you want to your walls. A sturdy plastic container holds every hanger, nail, wire you need for DIY ease. No heavy duty stuff. Heavy meaning you aren't buying hardware screws & other wall fasteners to be drilled & bolted. You can't hang a steel safe or a sofa but if that's your need, you can AT LAST buy the hardware you need. All I needed was a regular hammer & maybe a pliers for wire. Got plenty left for other uses. As an artists photographer a little long in the tooth, this kit was a blessing for me. 5They operate like any other kit I've owned and seem to be ... I recently moved and needed and somehow lost all my nails and photo hooks for hanging p all my artwork and whatnot dring hte move. I just needed another kit with a varied amount of things to hang up varied types of artworks (canvas paintings, framed maps, framed postcards and mementos and so on.. basically a bunch of different sized and weighted items!) and this kit seemed to do the trick.The nails are nails and the hooks are hooks, with enough varying size to take care of all my different items. They operate like any other kit I've owned and seem to be doing the job well enough.The only complaint I have about this kit, and I hate saying it as its just more packaging, is that when it was delivered to me some nails had come out of the box and were lose in my amazon box! I'd recommend ordering these as a solo item or not with any fragile items or things that may be damaged by lose nails unless they start securing the box with some type of vacuum sealed plastic wrap or have more clips added to the box. 5A Great Kit to have on hand!... Very Satisfied. The container did pop open during shipment, so I ended up having to search around the shipment box for all the pieces... but to me, that's not a reason to deduct any stars from the rating.It makes me crazy when people drop stars on a "PRODUCT review" because the package got damaged or opened during shipping.SERIOUSLY?!... A little bit of everything for hanging artwork, but not too many things that will never be used. The little container is useful too; no need to rummage through assorted nails and screws at the bottom of some messy drawer. And if this ever empties, the container can be put to other uses. 5
