Worked great for Turtle Beach headset I have two pairs of turtle beach headsets for Xbox one, xo3 and xo4 are the models; I wanted to use these headers for pc gaming and this headset splitter works perfectly.- Does not swap L/R stereo channels- securely snaps in place, won't slip out- doesn't degrade audio or mic audio- braided fabric cord, long lasting 5Exactly what I needed. I use this daily to connect my Bose headset to my Windows PC. It does what it says it does. The cables appear to be well strain-relieved and are quite flexible. I should check to see if they offer an extension cable.You may not need this with some laptops or PCs, if they have a headset input. My PCs do not.I bought two, so I could have one permanently connected both at work and at home.BTW, this was the second company's adaptor I purchased. The first one didn't work for either input or output audio. The headset seemed to be fully plugged in and the connections to the mike and headset on the desktop were firmly seated. Then I realized that the headset plug wasn't quite seated all the way, maybe 1/8th inch showing. The female plug for headset is very stiff and it required a bit of extra muscle to get the plug to seat all the way. Once I figured that out, it worked perfectly. 4Possible Software compatibility issue with singe 3.5mm headset, Win 10, and Realtek Audio I've had this adapter for almost a year. The speakers and mic work. The issue is that over voice chat and such, the other individuals can also hear whatever other audio is playing on your computer. For example... I'm doing voice chat and decide to open a second program (like a game). The other voice chat user(s) get to hear my game at the same volume as the speakers in my head set as well. The headset I have is Koton Each G2000 (single 3.5mm version). On a Windows 10 desktop using Realtek audio drivers.I'm leaning toward this being a software issue since it only seems to happen when you're multi-tasking with multiple apps / programs open and that's why I gave the adapter a 3-star rating. I doubt there's much the manufacturer can do to fix, but comment back if any have found a good solution. 3Solved my desktop problem I had purchased stereo headphones with a microphone to use on my desktop computer, but the headphones/microphone device had only one plug for both functions. Unfortunately my desktop (unlike most laptops, etc.) required two inputs, one for the mike and one for the stereo headphones. This adapter fixed my problem, and now I can listen and speak while using my German Language lessons. 5I've tried other headset splitters before and they eventually wear down - These are the real deal, here! I have never had a headset splitter this stable and reliable. I purchased two of these to use with my TekNmotion TM-YB100P Yapster Plus Headset for PC, MAC, Tablets and Smartphones, Black, which has a two-part cord that can be split in the middle, the shorter version plugs into the longer, and the longer cable has two jacks for PC, the shorter a single combined headset jack, fantastic for smartphones. But often at the PC I would find the longer cable unnecessary and needlessly tangling itself up in every bloody stupid thing. That's where these little babies come in. They replace the bottom half of the cord, chopping off an unnecessary three feet. What's more, they stay securely in the jack without fail, and offer fantastic sound quality. I've tried other headset splitters before and they eventually wear down - These are the real deal, here! 5
