Screen Protector Got Scratched up Pretty Quickly We got this for my kindergartener as that iPads are required for her school. After 2 months, the screen protector is so scratched up that we can barely see the screen. I replaced it with a different screen protector so we could actually see the screen again and now the other portion of the case doesn't fit right. Needs to last longer or at least sell replacement screen covers imo. 3FaceTime interference All in all I really did like the product.. it did what it was intended to do: protect the iPad. There was only 1 flaw with it that, unfortunately, interfered with one of the major uses of my iPad. I FaceTime a lot with family, and when face-timing, my family member heard themselves echoing. After troubleshooting a bit, I removed the iPad from the case and the echo stopped for them. I'm thinking the echo came from reverb while the case was intact.Another complaint was that I sounded a bit low and muffled to the recipient - again, fixed after removing the case.I'm giving the product 4 stars because it was super durable and child-tough, the protective screen piece worked well, and the screen protector was VERY secured in the case body (took a bit of work to get it back into the case body after removal). 4Screen Protector isn't Flush! 5 stars for protection- 1 star for screen protect. The case set to be squeezing it causing a ripple which is not there before installing into the case. I would deduct 2 stars, but my little girl doesn't seem to mind the non-flush screen protector.- 1 star for the handle's stand feature. As some have pointed out, there's too much room between the case and the handle which allows it to bend back too far. So much so that it is easy to tip over backwards. A wedge in the space alleviates this defect. 3iPad saver! Well worth the money Perfect for my 9 year old. This case will literally save your iPad and well worth the money. The case was kinda hard to put on, and that's not really a bad thing because at least it's on nice and tight, there's no chance of the iPad falling out at all.Tip: a black plastic piece insert is in the case when it arrives, you must remove that to apply your iPad into the case. The only way I was able to remove the black plastic piece was to brake it and take it out. The black plastic piece does look like it belongs in the case and should stay but trust me it is to be removed and the only reason I could find the balck insert arrived in the case was to hold the shape of the case during shipment. It truly is a must buy and worth every penny, you'll be happy with your purchase I promise. 5It does the job right. This case was paired with the iPad Air 2 model# A1566. In terms of usability and sturdiness. This is a great product and that's basically why I bought it.Putting it together was a little bit of a struggle. Fitting the plastic enclosure around the iPad was pretty tight like I was going to break it or my iPad. I do understand the enclosure goes on one side at a time and side with the smaller tabs go on last. Once getting the tablet in and the case around the entire unit. These minor issues doesn't take away from the general piece of mind that your iPad is protected. The plastic screen protector doesn't bother me unlike some people do. You can easily take it off the enclosure and install your own protector. 5Super solid and drop proof! Awesome for kids! A solid hard case with a screen, inside a solid foam case with a handle! Perfect for kids. I purchased a similar case before, minus the built-in hard case with screen protector, and I was really pleased with that one. This case is even more indestructible! The inside hard case with the screen protector built in is super solid and protects the iPad from dust, dirt, food, and scratches to the screen. The outside bumper case protects the iPad even further, from drops and general shock. The handle is a bonus.. also solid and great for kids to carry it around. Superb case for kids. Would highly recommend it to parents of young kids with iPads.****Update: It seems that several people (like me) didn't remove the protective film on the screen. Make sure you remove the film or your screen will have an annoying blue tint to it. 5Best case for a 9 month old active baby I recieved this case today as my little 9 month old loves to chuck the IPad around while she's watching learning videos etc.Upon opening I was treated with the case wrapped in cellophane.Inside the pink case you have a black spacer which you have to remove and then pry the plastic inner out of the foam outer.I then cleaned the screen of my iPad Air 2 and removed the plastic screen cover from the inside of the plastic inner. You then line up the home button with the plastic inner and clip the IPad into it.Upon turning the IPad over I noticed that there were LOTS of bubbles under the screen protector which I immediately started to smooth out with a credit card. Not all bubbles came out. However, once I removed the plastic that protects the actual screen protector I realised that I did not have to do this at it settles itself, leaving a bubbleless screen.Trying to get the plastic inner into the foam outter was another kettle of fish. I inserted onside of the iPad into the foam and then had to pay the edge of the foam over it, which was more difficult than it sounds. However, once in I felt confident that my iPad was completely protected with the best part being complete access to all buttons, speakers, camera, charging port etc.I gave it to my baby straight away to see what it was made of and she has messed around with it all day. It's still held up amazinglyWould I buy another if I had a chance?Definitely.UPDATEMy daughter is now 2 years old and this case is STILL going strong. The stand has lost a little stability so it no longer stands stiff upright but will stand. The biggest test was that she dropped it down a gap between the stairs in our apartment building..... 2 FLOORS .... I screamed in horror as I was certain that was the iPad a goner. To my surprise... iPad survived and not a scratch on it. I'm going to have to buy another soon only because of the stand issue but that's more of a me problem as my daughter wraps her legs around it to keep it in place and doesnt seem phased one bit. Amazing. 5Definitely not kids proof! I usually use the portfolio type of case, since I have kids I thought the big and bulky one would be more safe. I was wrong. I bought this bulky thing, thinking that my iPad won t get damaged from having kids around. Definitely not. By feeling and looking at it, it looks like it s a good iPad protector. My iPad screen still got damage, if you own iPad Air 2, the cost to get the screen replacement is crazy expensive, I had no idea. I am not happy with this product at all! 1Not accurate description This case is fine but I rebought it from a previous case I purchased on amazon just a different color. Thinking this should be the same case..... it is not. The material is not as heavy duty and does t seem to be as protective. I m a little disappointed since the price point is the same and I was expecting the same quality. Really look at pictures I guess cuz different items are listed within one listing. 3but still looks great. Can confirm that there is a protective film ... Purple color is a bit darker and more of a true purple than image, but still looks great. Can confirm that there is a protective film on BOTH the front AND back of the screen protector. Images of bubbles and such are from people that failed to remove one of these covers. Follow instructions that come with case. They say when to remove each cover in the process to make it easy for ya. Takes a little force to pop iPad into place, so be careful you are paying attention and don't accidentally use so much force that you bend your iPad. Case is very sturdy and iPad is very secure once installed. Case seems to be some sort of nice density foam product (not a hard plastic in case you aren't sure from pictures). The stand seemed iffy in the picture to me, but it's working fine for me. Seems like it could tip over if I put it on a super uneven or squishy surface...but that is true of a lot of stands. It stands up on my bed fine. Perfect for what I needed - something with a stand that would prevent my two toddlers from breaking the iPad. 5
