Works Brilliantly For A 32 Inch TV Works excellently! I used it to hang my 32 inch tv over my iMac for a second display. The instructions say each nail holds 10 pounds but I decided to put in 8 nails even though the tv couldn't way any more than 30 pounds or so. It's up there securely and I'm not even using the security string that it came with because I didn't want to put a big nail in my wall, hence the reason I'm using the no-stud tv hanger. 5GREAT product; perfect to wall mount my 32" LED smart tv w/o anchors, studs, or screws Beyond simple way to securely wall mount your flat screen TV up to 55"! Makes as easy as hammering nails into drywall (uses no studs, anchors, or screws)Used to mount my 32" LED Smart TV in bedroom. Attach one metal bar with bottom "lip" to back of TV (works with all TV manufacturers; 2-4 screws). Then, you nail the second metal bar with top "lip" into wall with 20 st. steel nails (each of which hold 10lbs; 200lb max).Lift TV so the lips line up, and you're done! Once on wall, TV can be slid right or left along bar so it is centered with wall space. Angles TV slightly downward for best view. Also contains emergency chain and safety screw which can be installed into wall to prevent TV from dropping (in the event that the nails break/fail). 5100% LEGIT!!!!! Love it! I was a little concerned this would work because my TV is a bit older and quite heavy but seriously this mount is AWESOME!!! By far the fastest and simplest way to mount a TV. You literally can't beat this product for the price. Great quality materials. It seems to work in the same concept as a dry wall gorilla hook. If you don't need a mount that swivels & tilts and just want something VERY QUICK AND EASY.... you have to get one of these. 5Mounted a 65" on my wall with these 7 months ago.... It's worth noting that my use of these is a bit unique. I have a 65" Toshiba TV, and I enjoy it very much. My apartment wouldn't allow me to drill or tap into the studs in my living room wall so I was unable to use a standard wall mount hanger for my TV. So here's what I did...I actually reached out to Hangman Products directly, and let me start by saying that they were very friendly to communicate with. Since these are meant for 55" TVs and smaller, they do not work particularly well with anything larger than that. The reason for this is that TVs larger than 55" typically have the inputs and outputs facing outward from the back of the TV rather than downward. So for these, the cable clearance was a concern, but also the weight. Each of these is rated to hold 80 lbs. My TV is approximately 75 pounds or so. This is pushing the limit a bit, and made me a bit uncomfortable. But what about using two of them on the same TV?I can confirm that it works! Hangman Products stated the design limitations and weight concerns above when I spoke with them, but in theory, if the hangers could be spaced apart well enough that each was holding equal, or close to equal load, then it should have no problem holding. I risked my nice expensive TV to feed my curiosity, and the cat is still alive! I made sure to verify my measurements exactly multiple times and checked my math, and had my math checked, and mounted these into the walls with their suspiciously tiny picture nails. Trust me, when you start hammering these things in, you start getting quite concerned and thinking "These puny things that I can bend between my fingers are going to hold up my giant TV???". Somehow, through science, physics, witchcraft, black magic, or some previously undisclosed alien technology, they do so just fine. Mine has been hanging on the wall since December, 2016, and it hasn't budged even slightly.To solve the cord problem, which is a real issue, I ran my HDMI cables into right angle adapters and filled up every input on the TV. Then I ran those cables into a project box that I built and used HDMI, TOSLINK, and other wall plates, and mounted it underneath the TV. So if I ever need to switch inputs, it's right there under the TV, which has turned out to be easier than it was when the TV was sitting on the top of the entertainment center.OVERALL: Great product. Ingenius. I'm a believer, they work. It's a tough breath to take before you let your hard earned money rest on these seemingly puny things, but breathe easy, these won't let you down... 5Best tv mount I have ever bought! I have now hung 2 of my tvs with this hanger and will probably never buy a tv bigger than 55" just so I can use this one always! It is SOOO easy to install and hang and it looks great! I am a smaller woman with basic tool knowledge and I hung my 28" and then my 55" by myself within 15 minutes each! for my 55" i originally ordered a different one from Amazon and it never even made it out of the box because the instructions were so poor and it was very complicated. This one is as simple as it can be and my tv feels super secure! I cant say enough good things about it! 5Quick and Easy I've bought TV wall-hanging kits before. They were expensive and are still in the boxes because of all the stud-finding, measuring, drilling, leveling, etc. involved. This kit was simple and fast. The only measuring was deciding how high to mount the TV, so I just decided where the top would be, attached the back hanger, lined up the wall rail on the back of the TV, and measured to determine how high the top of the wall rail should go. Then it was just a matter of tacking the nailing strip on the wall, hanging the TV and attaching the cables. For the small TV I was putting up in my bedroom, the whole process was a one-person task that took about 15 minutes and was less difficult than hanging a mirror. The only tools required are a Philips screwdriver and a small hammer. Even with an older TV with all the connections on the back rather than facing the side, the tilt allowance gave sufficient room to reach behind the TV to attach everything. I also really appreciate that the kit included screws for all the various hole sizes that the back of the TV might have, so I didn't have to guess or go out and hunt them. If you just need your TV to hang flat on the wall, this is definitely the kit to buy. I'll be ordering more of them myself. 5It hangs man! I wish I had found this sooner!!! After patching holes from other mounts that had issues, including the last one that only said in fine print deep in the instructions not to mount it to a metal stud, I decided to give this one a last try. It took less than 10 minutes and looks great! The only reason for the last start not being given is that you have to screw in a black nail to a black cable that sticks out lower than the tv. I will be changing this by purchasing a cable clamp to make a loop behind the tv, and also using a weight-rated Command hook upside down so no holes in the wall! I will be purchasing more of these and letting people know about it. 4Loved this - Simple, strong, easy to install, flat against the wall I'm an engineer and I really appreciate an excellent design. This thing was designed by an engineer - simple, elegant, flexible. And inexpensive.The use of pin-nails instead of bolts means that you can position it anywhere (not just where there are studs behind the wall). BUT ALSO the tiny nails leave nearly no marks in the wall. This is great in an apartment where nails are "forbidden", but these tiny holes are nearly invisible. The tiny nails also make it possible to move it if you get it up only to find you didn't position it right... I bought this one for my ex-wife who (after fully installed) decided it was too low. Amazingly, it was really easy to remove and re-install (re-using the same pin-nails).The only hassle is attaching the safety cable. Get someone else to hold the TV while you do this part!Once up you can tip the bottom of the TV out about 6 inches to reach behind it for connections.Overall, this is really elegantly designed. Can't recommend it highly enough. 5Why wasn't this the first idea when people wanted to mount tv's? I mean, I'm very confused as to why the big heavy VESA Mounts were the starting point in the TV mounting era. I bought a Vesa mount for my tv on Amazon a couple months ago, and I knew by just picking up the box that I wouldn't use it. It was literally 30 lbs that I was expected to screw into my wall and then screw a 20 lb. tv into that. I live in house built in 1917, so needless to say there are more than a few things that new houses don't have to worry about that I do, one being untrustworthy studs. They're devious, those studs. Needless to say that when I found the Hangman via a Pinterest search for alternate tv mounting ideas I was rather excited. Rather. I swiftly bought a two pack on Amazon and the rest is for the TV-Mounting History Books. No stud? No problem. 10 little nails through ten little holes on a tiny little sliver of aluminum and boom, it's in the wall. Put two bolts through the other scrap of metal and into your TV's VESA mount holes and Boom, It's in the TV. Plug your tv cords into the back (I would recommend HDMI elbow joints for those of you who's cords don't go into the back of the tv in a sideways fashion (It'll work without them, but your tv will likely be pointing slightly to the ceiling in that case)). Lastly pick up the old boob tube, and hang on the wall. I mean, game, set, match, convenience. To buy a VESA Mount in this current TV-Mounting climate would be akin to purchasing VCR today. Obsolete, is what I mean to say. The Future is here. Hangman, it's like taking candy from a baby. 5Easy to install, no need to locate studs This product is extremely easy to install yourself in almost any type of wall because it distributes the weight so well. This works in drywall or plaster in my opinion. I double checked the position by sliding the provided level across the wall and started by putting one nail in the center and then carefully at one end using the level. Once I was sure it was level I carefully put in a half dozen more. You don t need to use all of the nails provided! After I hung the TV I realized that one side seemed a little higher than the other and I took the TV off and realized I just needed to make sure the screws on the back of the TV were positioned properly. It looks great and hangs fairly close to the wall, depends on the back of your shape of the back of the TV though as well as you can see in the pic. Make sure not to put it too high though since there isn t any repositioning or adjusting for different viewing angles. With a deep and low sofa this was mounted on the wall at about 44 off the ground for example. Always good to put tape at eye level on the wall too see what works for you depending on distance and conditions. 5
