    A solid helmet mounting solution for your Go Pro I'm genuinely surprised I cannot find this rather simple mount in the brick and mortar stores. They carry every mount EXCEPT for the vented helmet mount. Hell, they carry mounts you can attach to your dog.I found out quickly that a handlebar mount for the Go Pro was not an effective solution for a variety of reasons, shock and vibration being the primary. For that reason I sought a helmet strap solution. This product delivers - they thought it through. In my case it is very secure, and unobtrusive. But - the key thing is that you have to install it correctly, plus I suspect some helmets work better than others. Although there is nothing in the way of installation instructions, it's pretty easy to figure out. The key to getting it secure is that you have to cinch it down very tightly, and that's easy to do. I just leave it on, and if I'm going to video something, I stick the Go Pro on it, otherwise, I can't even tell it's on my helmet. Actually, I don't notice the Go Pro on my helmet much even when it is on. 5Genuine GoPro Brand Product, Works Perfectly on Bike Helmet! Been using this for about 2 weeks now on my commutes with my road bike and it's been great! This mount perfectly positions my GoPro Hero 4 Silver on my helmet and securely holds it in place. By properly attaching it onto my helmet, I haven't had any issues of the straps un-tightening and falling off. I'd definitely recommend getting this mount if you want to record your bike trips, as well as having some sort of video footage just in case you were to get into some sort of an accident like someone hitting you with their car or something! Almost happened to me before. Be safe out there while riding your bike! 5Genuine GoPro Item - Works Great Simple and well made with quality materials. Time will tell. Attaches easily, but can take a few trial and error attempts to decide which hole locations work best for the mount to be sturdy and maintain position. The plastic block where the camera clips is thick and rigid, a good thing. Grip pad is firm, also a good thing. I'm usually fine with aftermarket stuff if I can save a few bucks, but on a mount for a $400 camera, spend more and buy OEM.Sounds like a few people are getting counterfeits. I received a genuine GoPro OEM accessory in sealed original retail packaging. My order was sold by Ritz Camera. I noticed the seller on this item changes frequently. Be cautious, check specific seller ratings, and only buy when it's "fulfilled by Amazon". That will give you recourse if not as described. 5Awesome, easy price, easy to install, adjust, and use, should last a good long while This GoPro helmet strap is very easy to install and use with your GoPro action camera - I have the GoPro 4 Silver. Its construction feels pretty solid and should last a good long while, if not abused. Good to have to record your road and mountain bike rides. 5Be sure to secure the excess strap Very simple to set up and should work with most helmets. Very sturdy attachment is easily achievable.Make sure you put the rubberbands on the the straps before you weave them through the helmet vents because the excess strap will need to be secured. I ultimately opted to cut the excess strap because I'll probably never need to remove it and with such a reasonable price can just purchase another for future helmets without too much hesitation. It also looks better than with rubberbands in my opinion. 5Good tool to bring on vacation Haven't used this yet but it's packed into my case for trips zip lining or atving. Really wish we had this on our last trip as the helmets the provided us did not fit our GoPro. I've tested it on my own helmets and it works best with helmets that have a lot of vented holes. Too few and you're stuck having no other holes to for straps to go through. 5Mandatory accessory for all GoPro users!! AMAZING INVESTMENT if you own a GoPro!!!!!!! In fact, if you own a GoPro then this accessory is a mandatory one. I use this mount on the back of my hand and take amazing video while scuba diving, cave tubing, bike riding, skiing, and hiking in the mountains. In fact, this strap works better and costs less than the actual wrist strap. Also, while on the back of your hand, you will always have the camera out and ready for the spur of the moment videos you might need. To use this on the back of your hand, you begin by placing the soft foam side on the back of your hand. Bring one strap around the outside of your hand, over your palm, and behind your thumb then secure it. Next, bring the other strap around the inside of your hand between your thumb and index finger, over your palm, to the outside of your hand and secure it. Now tighten the straps, but not too tight because you will realize that when you hand is in a fist, the straps tighten (and you will always want to shoot video with your hand in a fist otherwise your fingers will be in the video). Once the GoPro is snapped in place, use the quick-release vibration plug to secure the camera. Also, you can tether the GoPro to the straps, thus making it near impossible to lose the GoPro. And there you have it, a cheap and easy hand mount that can be used in the water, on a hike, in the snow, etc . 53 1/2 Stars This works good but it still stays a bit shakey when I strapped it to my cycling helmet to use with my GoPro. Could be the GoPro weight and maybe the session will work better because it's lighter. I think it more like a 3 1/2 star product. It works for what it's made for but should work better in my opinion. I'm sure if I glue it I can stop it from shaking but I don't want the strap to be permanent on my helmet in case I need to use it else where. 4Again really happy with the product I was really surprised at how stable and solid the mount attached to my helmet. Because of the multiple air vents on most bike helmets the self stick that comes with the kit is impracticable as there is not nearly enough surface area. There were no instructions which would have been helpful but in the end it wasn't that hard to figure out how to set it up. There is a strap on each side with a snap down closure. What makes the mount so effective is there is medium density rubber attached on the bottom. When pressure is applied from each side strap the points of the vents go into the rubber to snug the mount in place. Even if by accident if the wearer opened one of the closures when turning the camera on or off the remaining strap will hold the mount in place thereby ensuring the mount and camera won't fall off. Again really happy with the product. As a few others have mentioned the product was the actual Go Pro product. 5GoPro "vented" helmet strap for HERO cameras bought this product regardless of what the previous reviews are. I got this item today and i have put it on my helmet. Works pretty well and stable, and i like it!, i don't know why people are saying that this is not working, so i decided to post a video on how to install it. The reason why i gave it a 4 star is because my top helmet was pointed not curved, but what i did was i just tighten it up a lil' more so that it would hold the camera better.this is a great item for curved vented bike helmet and also good for pointed helmet like mine.this is for "VENTED" bike helmets not on your head or non vented helmets :) 4
