HORRIBLE smell First off, this product REEKED of cigarettes when I got it. You could not bring it near to you other wise you would choke. I have tried airing it out outside, it worked to an extent. In terms of the case itself, it is a perfect and snug fit. I do not really like how the band is a bit difficult to manoeuvre around the headphones upon placing and removing the headphones into the case. There's a handy net to store aux and charger cable. All in all, a good case to keep your headphones safe. However, expect your headphones to smell bad after storage 3Not bad, but be cautious of cable pocket I feel the construction of the shell is good. The elastic cord holds my headphones securely and the soft interior minimizes scratches. For protection, this case is really good. The only issue I have is the apparent design flaw others have noted. The little pocket that holds the cables is not secure and cables tend to shift around in transport. When opening the case, depending on how you do it, the cables may slide out of the pocket. Not a huge issue, but it keeps me from giving it five stars. 4Flimsy case = zero protection. This case is not worth the buy. I bought 2 of these to protect my and my daughter's fairly expensive bluetooth headphones while on vacation. The strap on my case fell off in the middle of the airport and almost immediately after, the zipper fell completely off as well rendering the case completely useless unless I wrap a rubber band or something similar around it. And OF COURSE this happens 1 day outside of the return policy. Buyer beware. 1Waste of Money Item arrived Aug 18th. This is day 14 of actual use, as my son keeps his headphones in his backpack for school. Zipper popped off today as he was putting his headphones up. Strap is hanging by a thread. Pretty bad, considering he doesn't even use the strap for carrying.The material seems ok. The shell is protective when it actually zips.Zipper quality is what totally ruins this case.Numbers 2, 3, and 4 in the product description are simply not true. 1My mdr-xb950n1 best friend, but... Really goo protection for sony's mdr-xb950n1, lays flat and the cushion doesn't suffer, good texture and I would only change the spot for the pouch so that it isn't on top of the speakers, other than that, they are great.Update: almost 2 months and the strap came off and as a result, the zipper broke, I don't really have a way to fix it other than hot glue maybe but it will look ridiculous, it looked to have a good built but I guess it fooled me. I have been using it not every day but 5 days a week maybe one or twice a day, good materials cheaply put together. 2WILL FIT SONY MDR-XB950B1 MODEL HEADPHONES This case fits my Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones. I looked at a LOT of headphone cases to purchase since these particular headphones do not come with any sort of case or bag. A lot of the headphone cases promised to fit the XB950B1's but all the reviews said they actually didn't. I can confirm that the XB950B1's WILL FIT in this case. It looks like the headphones might clip the side of the zipper (as seen in my photos) but it doesn't and there is no bulge on the outside so it's not tight on them at all. I did not struggle to zip it closed- it zipped right up with no issue. I'm glad I got this case because it'll get the job done of protecting my headphones while in my bag/backpack and it was cheap. The netting could have less of a giant gap between the case top and the elastic in order to hold the cords inside better but hey, the case was 7 bucks. 10 for 10 recommend 5The worst smelling thing I've ever had left on my doorstep. This had an AWFUL smell to it - stunk up my entire house when I opened it. Smelled as if someone had used it as an ashtray for months. I even resorted to washing it with dish soap and leaving it outside in the sun for several days an in attempt to make it smell better, but nothing worked.Completely unusable. 1Not the most robust, but will do just fine for most people. Great case for the money. I'm a med student, so I use the headphones every day. That being said, I transport the case quite a lot, and I usually stick it on the outside mesh of my backpack, and it can get bumped around when I set my backpack down in my study room, or the lecture hall, or the car. It sees quite a bit of abuse on a daily basis, and it holds up just fine, *as long as you don't have any hard hits*. Again, it sees its fair-share of abuse every day and so far my headphones inside are just fine.4 stars and not 5 because it's not the most robust, and also because the mesh inside that holds the wires is about useless. It's not collapsable elastic, so it doesnt hold the wires snug against the sides.But if you don't really care about the above problem, then the case is perfectly fine, and for the money it's great. It can take a fair amount of abuse, but don't expect it to hold if you sit right on it. 4Great Case This case is sturdy enough to protect my Sony bluetooth MDR-XFB950BT headphones. Has room for all my cables.Has enough give so soften any drops. 5... this for my Sony mdr xb950b1 and they fit like a glove So I bought this for my Sony mdr xb950b1 and they fit like a glove. How ever there are a couple of things that bother me about this product:1) It feels very flimsy. It is hardshell but it doesnt feel that strong and it will bend if enough pressure is applied.2) The zipper always feels like it's going to break. Again this is probably due to the overall build quality of the product.3) There is a mesh pocket that holds some cables and what not, but when you open the case 9/10 times at least one cable will fall out.Id say i recomend this if you need an immediate solution and dont have the cash to buy something a little more expensive or if you just dont wanna spend that much money. It will do tthe iob but i know ill soon have to buy a replacement for it. 3
