    The attachment I use 99% of the time. Love it. This is my go-to mount now. Not only does it clip solidly onto things, but the clip itself makes a great handle or stand. It's wide enough that the clips makes a great base to hold your gopro on a table or the floor. Works perfectly clipped onto my camelback strap for hikes and runs and motorcycle rides. If you only want one attachment, get this one. Oddly enough I have yet to clip it to my hat. 5Fantastic value clip for backpack harnesses and other gear I bought this to clip to my backpack harness to film a hiker's eye view of the trail. It clipped firmly and never shifted out of place. It even too a couple of zip line rides clipped to my belt harness with no worries. The clip is tight and would grip firmly to something as thin as as a jacket pocket or thick as a padded backpack strap or the aluminum awning of a tour boat.The swivel was great to align the camera to line up with the horizon from both pieces of gear. It connects simply and soundly to my GoPro Hero 3+ camera case, or I could use the extension arm for a 90 flip.The one drawback is that the hinge at the bottom of the case prevents me from getting it completely level. It either points down or up 15 degrees. For the price I decided to just make it work. This is a fantastic value to expand your GoPro mounting options. 4This GoPro mount works flawlessly! This is probably the best after market purchase I have made for my GoPro. I was looking for something that would allow me to strap my GoPro to my back pack strap (in the front, on my chest), and this fit the bill perfectly. It allowed me to record video hands-free and make hyper lapses easily. It is adjustable; you can rotate the front portion to your needs. I recently went to the UK and recorded a lot of my walking around London using this mount. I highly recommend it! 5Good clip, but GoPro Hero 5 Black users steer clear This product will not fit the new GoPro Hero 5 Black housing. It seems the housing dimensions have changed from previous models (my Hero 2 fit just right) so it will not accommodate.The clip mechanism seems very sturdy and has grwat grip strength as it takes concentrated effort to squeeze it open. There are many little plasric teeth to help grip various surfaces.I've removed the swivel mount and will attempt to attach a regular tripod mount.Great value, just a shame the new GoPro has changed even this specification and will require all different accessories. 3Reads this review! Keeping your camera could depend on it.... This product provided endless possibilities for mounting you GoPro. Beware this one issue I found during my first use of the product. The screw and nut that hold the camera mount to the clamp do not have any type of locking mechanism. After two uneventful runs down a ski hill I had to take it off my jacket because the nut started backing out and loosening causing the camera to be able to rotate too easily. I'm VERY lucky I found it when I did, I would have lost my GoPro Hero 4 Black if I hadn't. When I pulled it back out of my pocket to put it in my backpack after the last run it fell apart. I am now looking to use a lock nut or some thread locking adhesive to prevent this from happening again. Without this issue it would be a 5 star purchase for sure. 3Must get attachment for SJ4000 or GoPro camera Great accessory for the SJ4000 and GoPro cameras.Although my SJ4000 variant came with a lot of attachments, it didnt have a simple clip.For under $5, this clip attachment provides a hands free option. The swivel allows various angles and positions to setup filming.I used mine for scuba and it hooked up to my scuba BCD strap without any restrictions or wear.It has some holes that will support attaching a ring that allows my bungee cord to loop through as a secure backup.I also placed used the attachment with a wrist strap to that came with my SJ4000.My favorite way to use the clip is to hang it from the sun visor of the car and rotate the camera screen for filming as I drive.No sticky pad, no mess, no sun melting the adhesive, and quick setup & teardown. 5Great for the cost! I bought this to attach my GoPro to my backpack strap, and it worked great. Then I found I could connect to a coat pocket or about anything else. I bought another model that swivels, which is a big improvement, but it costs a lot more plus took forever to get to me. This came in less that 48 hours with standard shipping. It attaches firmly, and sometimes is just fun to set GoPro in timed interval settings as I wonder around a city doing street photography with my DSLR. Some of those shots are just interesting candids. I know this is probably designed for video use I just don't ever shoot video, I did that for a living for years and now just prefer to shoot stills. 5Good idea...some issues I was looking for a way to mount my Go Pro on my body so I could be hands free and shoot as I move.Here are my notes:1. This is not an official Go Pro product2. My looked used, rust on the screw and scuff marks3. First of all, the clip, when attached to the backpack strap, rests horizontally. You will need one of the little extenders so that you can mount the camera vertically while the clip is horizontal. That's not a huge problem, except this clip's mount, where you slide the go pro extender, the mounting screw prevents the Go Pro from sitting exactly at 90 degrees. So your point of view will be slightly titled down (see photo) It's only 1-2 degrees, but I don't like that.Also the mounting screw prevents you from using the back of the camera, no real problem if you have the app. With the clip mounted on the strap of a backpack, the weight of the whole thing tends to make the Go Pro droop, so you are not shooting directly ahead. It's not a very stable way to use the Go Pro, even with the stablizing.It's a good idea, the clip is solid and it will hold on to whatever you clip it too, I just don't think it will suit my needs.Probably going to buy the Go Pro chest mount 2Really glad I bought it but... This is a well built mount and it is my go to mount for times when I'm out and about and just want to have my GoPro handy. It clips onto a belt to shoulder strap and makes it quick and easy to grab the camera start taking hand held video or photos. The clamping function is very secure and the mount never slips even when attached to the thin chest strap on my day hiking pack. I'm really glad I got this.So, why just 4 stars? Well here's the deal- The description says it can mount to a backpack strap for taking video- and it can- but when mounted to a shoulder strap as shown in the photos on Amazon it points slightly to the side. That's just because of the way the shoulder straps lay over a persons shoulders when carrying a backpack and there is no way to adjust the side to side angle of the camera with this mount. I thought I would be able to find an easy way to adjust the angle of the camera, but without modifying the mount or adding shims to the shoulder strap there is no way to make the camera point straight ahead when hiking. It does point straight ahead when I mount it on the chest strap but since most backpack chest straps are narrow and not worn super tight the camera bounces with each step and the resulting video is un-watchable.So bottom line for me is that it's a great GoPro carrier but not great for taking video when mounted to a backpack strap. 4so far so good! Received it on time and very quickly tried it out for the first time when I went to east coast comic con this past weekend and u had it attached to my backpack and It held tight, real tight the teeth on it grip extremely well and it clamps down strongly it didn't budge from where I attached it, I received a lot of compliments on it. Recorded some great p.o.v. shots had to move a little extra to get some footage of my son running around but I really like the product and it's build is very good now the only thing I have left to do is take it to work and try it out there I do a lot of climbing and I intended to use the clip for recording at work but I didn't have a chance yet. 5 stars for now but I will update if it does or does not make it through a day of lineman work from what it looks like it will hold up and I'm hoping it does! 5
