Customer Reviews

Looks great, but functionality and adjustments may have some issues The aesthetic design of this is great. It has a modern look that is stylish. The form factor design may cause some issues for some people pending on placement and usage.I wasn't sure how the single pole design would handle rolls and keep the rolls on during use. It does that job okay - but not very great. You still have to be fairly gentle with it, not that many people are aggressively using toilet paper. But if you have this on a wall that is on the side of a toilet, the angle of the holder relative to the angle of pulling, can cause some minor issues of the roll getting off alignment and slipping towards the end. There are times where the roll may end up on the lip of the pole end, but it has never fallen off entirely during normal use. This isn't an issue with this particular product or brand, it is this general design overall. If you can mount this straight-on in front of the toilet, then there would likely be less issues since you would be pulling on it perpendicular to the pole and not at an angle. The pole adjustment is the primary issue. There is a large hex wrench bolt that holds the pole to the wall mount portion for rotation adjustment. You can loosen this to rotate it pending on your direction needs. But once you loosen this bolt to make the adjustment, it seems like you can't really get it tight enough again. After a couple of weeks of use, the pole part has loosened up again and rotates. I will try to tighten it up one more time, but it is getting frustrating.(note: You cannot simply just flip the entire thing, due to the fittings in the wall mount portion and wall mount bracket shape. Especially, if you want to keep the small wall mount adjustment screw facing downward out of site.) 3Doesn't hold in place No matter how tight I adjust it the embedded screw, the bar slopes down over time. For this to look right on the wall, it needs to be level, but it keeps pointing on an angle downward. Its the bolt on the inside (from manufacturer - not adjustable) that loosens over time. Very frustrating and I will need to replace all of them now. 2To accompany the most elegant TERLIT. My main problem with this item is the difficulty in making sure the horizontal rod is perfectly level, or preferably tilted up to keep the roll from flying off into the garbage can. You have to tighten a tiny screw, using a hex driver, from the bottom, and it catches in between the ridges of the mounting base beneath. The problem is if the the mounting base isn't installed absolutely perfectly, the screw won't necessarily line up where you want it to. I would prefer if it has finer graduation in the groove so you could adjust the slant by microns. But the design is elegant and simple, and once you have it installed perfectly it works well, so I'm giving it 4 stars. 4Nice quality. Would buy again. Quality is fine given the low price and the fact that few will ever handle its component parts. Installation was fairly easy, but would have preferred a separate guide for screw position vs. it being printed on the box. The natural length of the roll holder bar was very long so I opted to snip the bar s inner coil spring to shorten it to a more reasonable/standard length. 4Highest quality/appearance & Solid ! Better quality/appearance than shown even in the photos. It's very solid,...but...if you're mounting it over tiled wall, like I had to and go purchase a drill bit which will work well through tiles, I recommend you to get a drill bit that is next size DOWN from the size they recommend, as the hole is too loose for the inserts/etc that they provide you with. So, if I can find time to do that, one day, I'll be a very happy camper. You won't be disappointed. I almost sound like a "handyman", but I'm anything but, so, if I can do it, anyone can. 5Good Choice, so Far Very attractive and I love that it is so easy to change the toilet paper. I use the mega Charmin rolls and they fit fine. I just bought some of the giant Costco rolls and if they don't fit I will come back and report. And, I will be back to change my review if the holder starts loosening. For now, I am pleased. 4Too wide This is not a bad product but given the price i would have expected better quality. My main complaint though is how unnecessarily wide it is. I don't think toilet paper so wide exists. The product is nice, but it feels like it is meant for something other than holding a roll or toilet paper. It does the job but feels off. I don't see why they would spend more material for extra room that no one needs. 3Nicely mad tissue holder with no moving parts I've installed several items from the Latitude ll series. They are well made and easy to install. Big advantage of this tissue holder: no spring to go flying across the room when changing rolls. One negative: easily holds a roll of standard tissue, but extra large or extra bulky rolls may not fit. 4stop reading shampoo bottles and read your phone... Okay, we know what the shelf is for. This thing looks nice and it actually holds an oversized roll (E.g. from Costco). Totally cool. 5Looks good but not functional Looks good but not functional- sounds like a bad date title. Hahah. But really, I love how this looks and it matches our bathroom perfectly but this design never really holds toilet paper rolls well. It will hold a roll but when you grab toilet paper it will most likely fall off the holder and roll away. Then what? You have a long piece of toilet paper and the roll is halfway down the room. Sigh, but it s good looking.ProsPrettyConsToilet paper will and can fall off 3
