    We love the style of them and are very happy with ... Bought this during a remodel of a small bathroom, along with towel hooks, toilet paper holder and shelf from the same Latitude II line. Before even pulling it out of the box, I was able to see this towel bar sticks off the wall too far (almost 6") and would become a hazard every time someone walked past it. In the end I returned the bar and purchased two of the single bar Latitude towel bars and mounted them side by side. We love the style of them and are very happy with quality of the Latitude bars. 5and for months I could not find a good system for my kitchen towels We recently moved into a new house, and for months I could not find a good system for my kitchen towels. It was really driving me crazy. Then I found this bar, and it looks great on the end of my island. It was not easy to install and it did take forever, but I was so determined. 5Beware - template doesn't match product Nice, BUT - the template on the box is 23-15/16" long, and the actual bar is 24-1/8" long, so if you drill this according to the template you get to spend an hour with a bench grinder and dremel tool reworking the brackets to fit after you have put 4 holes in your wall. Because the actual spacing is 3/16 off the template. 3Very happy again Very high quality and doesn't show any signs of possible finish chipping or easy wear. It's super hard to find matte/satin finish, black bathroom hardware and this was a great find for me. It a bit pricey but, worth it to have what I was looking for. I also purchased the matching hardware in this set. I highly recommend this line if you are looking for black hardware. 5Solid quality, great value This towel bar is pretty easy to install and comes with almost everything you need to do so (you'll need a screwdriver and a drill). Sleek, modern design and a suite of other pieces to match. The 24" bar comfortably holds two standard sized bath towels when folded in half. Gatco accessories are reasonably priced and good quality. Although they aren't top of the line, heavy duty items, they look good and feel sturdy when properly installed. 5Not awful, but I'm a little disappointed... I'll just say it up front: these aren't bad, but they're not the towel bars I'm looking for. I'm going to keep them, but they certainly don't measure up to my expectations after reading all the overwhelmingly positive reviews.I wasn't looking for a heavy-duty, ADA-compliant hand rail, but I was hoping for something more solid -- along the lines of "hotel grade" construction, that could stand up to a little abuse and grabbing. I've found such a beast at my local Orchard Supply in the past, for about thirty bucks, but they've since disappeared from their shelves, and my searching ended in vain.This towel bar is definitely superior to the flimsy "square bar with two end caps" style that most of us are likely trying to avoid, but there's nothing "solid" about this: although technically it comes as one piece, the two "arms" that extend the bar out from the wall aren't rigidly fixed -- there's a slight amount of play, and the three pieces are bolted together through a not-quite-solid connection. Thankfully, the slight play isn't apparent once the bar is mounted to the wall. But I could immediately feel the thin gauge of tubing used -- it's way too lightweight and tinny sounding to inspire any confidence.What this means is that, despite my opening the drywall to install ply blocking to affix these bad boys to, I'm reasonably certain they're not going to survive the mistreatment of my gymnastic pre-K kids, nor my slightly clumsy octogenarian father in law, at least not without a few dents, bows, and bends.I don't intend my 3-star "It's OK" rating to be derogatory other than saying, "these are OK, better than not-OK, but certainly not great." The chrome polished finish certainly seems good. If that's what you're looking for, great (I'm not entirely unhappy with the purchase -- they're decent, and they match the room), but if you want something high caliber, or just something sturdy enough to confidently grab a hold of for whatever slippery floor oops lost my balance reason, look elsewhere.Edit: Found it! Harney Hardware 79206 is my towel bar point of reference, and if it's any indication of their standard of quality, I wouldn't hesitate to order their 23016 Boca Grande towel bar, which doesn't look quite as heavy duty, but is in the style of this Gatco bar, at a lower price. 3Great product with a very confusing measurements that are listed ... Great product with a very confusing measurements that are listed on the description. I was grateful for one of the reviews that mentioned that size was advertised incorrectly and decided to believe that it is an 18 inch towel bar. For anybody who needs the exact size, it is almost 21 inches from end to end ( 20 3/4 inches) and inside measurement that is available for the towel is about 17 1/4 inches. I hope they will fix the size to avoid confusion. 5I really like the style and look of this towel bar but ... I really like the style and look of this towel bar but the brackets that come with it are slightly too large to fit inside the ring that goes against the wall so as you tighten the tiny screw, it pulls the bar away from the wall on the part of the fixture closest to the screw. This causes the bar to not sit flush with the wall and there is a slight gap. It seems like a quality product with a poor bracket design. 2Chrome is totally rusted in 1 year. I had to dismount this towel bar today because it is completely rusted. It took less than a year, and all chrome is gone. REAL PIECE OF JUNK!I've contacted the manufacturer, and tried to get my money back, but they did not refund at all. Instead, they sent me replacement for free.Very "nice" of them - another towel bar will rust out in next year. Why? Because "Our towel bars are only meant to be installed outside the bathroom area" and " our warranty will not cover this due to being installed inside the shower". How about that? TOWEL BAR OUTSIDE OF BATHROOM. I definitely need towel bar in my office or living room!DO NOT BUY IT! 1Love Chrome! Do you know how hard it is to find fixtures and accessories in the chrome finish? Everything is either brushed nickel or burnished bronze. Well, my preference is chrome and this towel bard matched the other Gatco items we bought for our bathroom remodel. We actually hung it on the inside of the linen closet door because it's right beside the shower and it then the drying towels are hidden. 5
