Customer Reviews

After two weeks they were shot. Poorly designed Went on nicely after warming the plastic up in some hot water. It made them stretch and form a great fit. But the plastic is too pliable. After you install them and start to use the chairs, the plastic starts to give and the end with the felt starts to tear away from the plastic shoulder holding them on the chair leg. See my pictures. Happened to quite a few on mine within 2 weeks. I found the cat batting around one of the ends that had completely torn off. They are going back. 1might work for you but read other reviews of them slipping sideways. As other reviewers have stated, the plastic is too weak and just come off. I have lightweight mid-century chairs and polished tile floors for easy sliding. These only lasted TWO moves of the chair and they slipped sideways. I ordered the small size and had a tight fit so that was not the problem. I even tried spraying the legs with hairspray to create a tacky surface and this didn't work either. I ended up getting sturdy pads with nails to attach, just like the ones that are 65 years ol and were still fine. The new nail-on ones have a teflon piece that makes sliding easy. If you decide to buy these I hope they work for you as the idea is solid, but the execution is lacking. 1At first we thought this product was great but only after 2 months these all worn down ... At first we thought this product was great but only after 2 months these all worn down and tore apart. We utilized this on eight different chairs that are truly only used for a handful of times when we had company. Not worth the purchase. Also- I could not return this item since it was after 30 days. Don't waste your money. 1Product size stated wrong Product is not as stated, ordered large size, which was suppose to fit 1 3/8" - 1 5/8", but these are huge, they measured 1 3/4", way too big, sent seller an email and they never responded, would not recommend at all. 1Small is smaller than the manufacturer claims. The description claims that the Small size fits feet up to 1-1/4" in diameter. Our kitchen chairs measure 1-1/8" diameter across the bottom, so I ordered the small size. They didn't even come close to fitting our kitchen chairs. Even a bigger hammer didn't do the job, possibly because the Small Furniture Feet themselves have an inside diameter of only 1.0 inch.I returned the Small and ordered the Large. They turned out to be way too big for our kitchen chairs. I guess I'll have to wait until they come out with a Medium. 1READ THIS if you have square legs. I purchased the small, and they went right on my wood chairs. --Front legs only. The front legs are 1" x 1" square. They did not fit on the back legs, which measure 1-1/8" x 1-1/8" square. THEN, I REALIZED, the manufacturer recommendation for sizes, are based on round legs. It's listed as "Diameter". To determine which size to buy for square legs, measure the diagonal, and you should be OK. 5Very disappointed. The Furniture Feet haven't been on our bar stools for much over two months and the plastic sides on the ones we use the most have split! They slid onto the legs without a lot of pressure and seemed to fit well. So far the felt pad is still stuck on the bottom of the leg and is doing what I originally wanted it to.............making it quieter when we move the stools and not marking the floor when dragged. I am sure they will fall off completely before long. Not knowing for sure what size we needed or that these were available with just one size in the package, the first set we bought had both the large and small of which we needed only the small. Along with the second set of more small ones, our cost is well over $50 with plenty of the large that we will never use. I will not purchase again. Very disappointed. 2Cheap rip off of the original product. Low Quality. Don't waste your money. I have used this product for several years and have noticed that the quality has changed dramatically. These Furniture Feet used to last a few months before they had to be replaced. The clear rubbery part would eventually begin to wear out even though the Felt bottom had some life to it. The last time I ordered these they lasted 3 weeks before they totally disintegrated and fell apart. This is a picture of the current batch that I ordered. You can see that they are not even clear any more, the plastic has a milky/cloudy appearance with obvious pieces of foreign material embedded in them. The felt pads are much thinner than in the past also. This was a very good product but it is obvious that they no longer care about quality control. This will be the last time I purchase these and will be looking for an alternative to use in the future. Don't waste your money. 1Works great, but be aware that under heavy use they do need to be replaced often. I have ten barstools, three different types, and two different types of floors. This is the only product that works perfectly with all combinations, and does not look clunky or goofy. They blend in well. However, they get heavy use here, and they do no last that long! So be aware of that. I just buy lots of them, and I'm fine with that, because they really are perfect for me. So I did not take off a star, but you might want to! 5Worthless Save your money. I tried the small and the large sizes because at first they seemed to work great, even though they don't actually fit on all size legs and all chairs as stated. For those where they do fit, they start to dry out in a few weeks, crack and fall off... A good idea and more attractive than tennis balls, but ultimately worthless. Didn't last 6 weeks in my house. 1
