Good Quality hardware. Pkg has a template. Good quality material. I am impressed that the package came with a template on the top portion of the directions. Which makes is so much more convenient for getting the item level. The hardware in the package comes with the tiny allen wrench. The only thing that is a little cumbersome is that the screws are a strange size. We have had to hunt within our tools to find a small enough phillips attachment. The J hook for the towel could be a little deeper to keep the towel on, but I can manage with the size that it is at this time. When tightening the little screw to get the edge piece over the metal hardware on the wall it is easy to readjust the position. So even if you accidenlty put the hardware on teh wall at a slight angle you can have a small window to correct yourself. 5Fair You get what you pay for. The end brackets are solid. The bars are cheap. The hardware ok. The design of the set screws is bad. Instead of at a slight angle they are straight on and very close to the wall. You will scar the wall tightening them. I'm going to have to touch up the wall now. You want cheap, then buy these. Want quality, buy something else. Brushed nickel appearance OK. 3A touch of elegance Ordered two different bathroom sets and this one has an elegant look to it. The template was easy to use and accurate. The wall anchors were not cheap (I had to buy new wall anchors for the other set), and nothing was missing. The only difficulty I had (if you want to call it that) is using the allen wrench... I have fat, stubby fingers and it took me a little longer turning the allen wrench so close to the wall. The overall look is very nice. Oh yeah, the towel bars do turn slightly, but definitely don't spin. I was expecting this from the reviews and it is definitely not a problem for my family. Yeah, what they had at Lowe s was heavier weight but we re not doing gymnastics on them, so we don t need industrial strength towel racks and toilet paper holders. And these LOOK as great as what they had at the store and the finish looks very sturdy like it s not going to be damaged with regular usage. This allows the bar to "spin" inside the end piece holes. Really not a big deal, but other sets provide a means to secure the bar from spinning.The "top critical review" mentioned not to use the template. I used the template without a problem. The other reviewer likely did not use the template correctly. The template needs to be flattened completely - - if it isn't, it would not be at all unusual to be "off" by 1/4 inch. Just be sure to fully flatten the template against your wall. 4Absolutely Love The Look I recently moved and was redecorating the bathroom. I wanted some brass kind of worn bathroom accessories so I stumbled across this Franklin Brass Kinla 5 Piece set. I absolutely loved the look and reviews and decided to order. The parts came well packaged with all hardware included. No need to gather tools up. These are ready to set up right out of the box. It was super easy to install. All pieces took less than 20 minutes. They were easy to hook up and fasten tightly. Very durable and held to the wall very well. So far I have up 3 out of the five pieces. The bathroom is coming together and this set helped achieve that goal. Very pleased. 5It's ok, toilet paper holders not so much The towel bars ended up working fine. The toilet paper holders were not the greatest. We ended up going with a different toilet paper holder because these were too fat at the base, making a double roll toilet paper almost impossible to turn when a new roll was put on. The roll was butting up against the sides. 3Looks great! Purchase the kit to use a few things in one bathroom and a few things in the other. During my original search I found the exact thing on a wood plank. To add more character and spend less money, we used old skid wood to give this effect.Certainly worth the price. 5Looks Great and Not Too Bad To Install, Given a Tad of Patience We bought both this and the three-piece kit for the master and guest bathrooms in our new house. They are quite elegant, and I was happy that the manufacturer offers the same style in both kits so that they match. A very nice polished nickel finish.They were fairly easy to install. they come with templates to drill the holes in the wall, and the templates were accurate. The only little beef I have is that screwing in the little nut that secures the hardware to the mounts with the supplied allen wrench can be a bit tedious.However, I think that's just the nature of the beast. The only way around that problem I'd think would be to make the screws bigger, which might not be practical for other reasons, including ascetics.But it is a very elegant design and looks nice in the bathrooms, so I thought for the price it was a great value. 4
