Customer Reviews

Compromised picture quality with polarizerReally, you get what you pay for, I suppose. They are as described, in a nice case, but ultimately the quality is poor enough to affect the images, in my case. I am shooting through a 70-300 mm zoom, and looking to enlarge the 24MP images to crop for birds. The circular polarizer caused enough distortion to render the image below my quality standard. The UV filter appears to be okay, and makes a good inexpensive protector for your lens, provided it suits your shooting. The diffuser came along with the set, not something I was after. I have not used it yet, but presume if diffusing is your goal, it should be effective, as that is my complaint about the polarizer.I have a quality circular polarizer for my other lens diameter, and it works superbly.1Love learning how to take pictures with these filters!I was looking for a polarized filter, decided to try this set, I wasn't sure how to use the soft filter as I don't take many portrait type pictures, but I have found ways to use it while taking pictures around water, sports activities, and just walking around. This is a great set to learn how to use filters, I use a Nikon D3300, with Nikkor lenses. This picture was taken on a sunny day, late afternoon and I kept getting large reflections on the water, so I added the polarized filter and was able to reduce the reflections..The case is sturdy and well made, fits in a pocket so you can add a filter whenever you need too, or you want to try a picture through with a different outcome. I'm glad I took a chance and would recommend these to others.5Initial review - excellent!I recently purchased a Canon 7D with the 72mm.... 28-135mm lens. I was looking for a UV or Skylight filter to protect the lens.....I always do a lot of research and I came across this deal. I also researched Fotodiox and watched several videos on youtube. It came down to this. For $9.95 for 3 filters how could you go wrong? and you get a case! My research led me to believe that Fotodiox make a good quality product and I was not disappointed!I placed my order on a Monday and the item arrived on the Wednesday! Wow! I had ordered several other items so my cost was over $25 and I got the free shipping. The case it self is very nice, it's not high quality but it's not cheap and shabby either! The interior has red felt and feels soft and good quality. Good enough to protect and reduce risk of scratches to the filters. Each filter was packed in its own plastic bag. I opened the UV first, I immediately noticed the weight.... heavy! It's glass! I had read that some other filters out there are made of plastic so I was very impressed that these are glass. The fit of the filter inside the ring is excellent, no movement, solid as a rock. It fits my Canon lens perfectly. Only having used the UV filter I can say it does a great job at producing sharp colors and a crisp image. I have absolutely no complaints - one of the best purchases I've made. So, $9.99....super fast shipping, nice little protective case with 3 compartments one for each filter, filters are glass, excellent quality and fit. I couldn't get 2 meals at McDonalds for this price!!! LOLHighly recommended!!!5Just right for the projectMainly purchased for the soft diffuser, my camera has a setting to "soft focus" around subject but wanted the full soft focus/diffuser effect for a project I have coming up, of course you can never have enough UV filters for your lenses IMHOP. Like the hard case design for the filters, it fit perfect in a "spare hole" in my camera bag.5Beware of diffuser Len. I purchased this for the diffuser. OMG....What in the world. Why would I want blurry pictures? I can't believe they actually sell this product. I already had an Amazon UV. The polarizer lens may be interesting. The case is nice.I gave it one star because of this useless diffuser Len. 1Love the variety for the priceOkay, so I'm fairly certain at this point that the UV filter isn't multi-coated, but it doesn't really claim to be so, not going to stress that, I have a multi coated for when I need it, but the other pieces in this kit are what got me. The circular polarizer? Worth it in itself, no this isn't top end stuff, but it gets the job done and has helped me get some great shots. What I love the most is I can add a filter onto a filter with these with no problem. After reading other reviews I heard they have occasional threading issues, so I've just been super careful about getting them on and off and have had no problem with that. It comes with the case too in case you weren't sure, and thats also a nice bang for your buck. I almost wish they made more of these kits with other filters!4... was cheap (so am I) I figured to buy better ones after I figured these outI figured I would buy this set because it was cheap (so am I) I figured to buy better ones after I figured these out.. Change of plans.. they work much better than I thought they would and since I don't profess to be a professional, oh you know who I mean.. the guys who claim to be professional photographers and then piss and moan about a $10.00 set of lenses that "ruined " a photo shoot.. well, they more than meet my needs.. IF there is any degradation in my photos it is negligible.. I recommend them for the amature guys who just want to take great "amature" pictures.. ENJOY.5Good 72mm filters, exceptional price. I bought this set because I wanted a UV filter to protect my Canon 18-200mm lens. For this purpose, I'll give it five stars for the moment. I'm taking a risk buying this filter as I like to break rules and shoot into the light. Some cheaper UV filters create a lot of lens flare when shooting into the light. I'll update when I've had a chance to test this out.The filters seem well made. The glass is set in a very thin metal ring - which is great for keeping vignetting to a minimum when I'm shooting at a wide angle.I'm impressed with the polarizer so far. This is a circulating polarizing filter - it has a free-floating ring that can rotate. It cuts reflections on water just fine and enhances blue skies wonderfully. It didn't look very dark at all in the packet, but it does cut down a lot of light, making it useful for doing motion capture shots at low shutter speeds. The diffuser is more of a cute addition to the set to me. I did like this set better for having it though, as I never use the FLD filters that come with other sets. I expect I'll at least play with this one occasionally. The case is strong and fits the lenses perfectly - I've had cases of this type in the past in which everything has been a very tight fit but that's not the case with this one.So far I'm extremely satisfied with the set. For $11.95 these were a steal! 5Wonderful transactionI am very pleased with this product. I was really surprised to find exactly what I needed, given that the majority of filters are sold individually. I for one still believe in the UV Haze Filter. I do have a tendency to end up in a desert environment that is usually accompanied by high winds and sand. In fact I will be in Las Vegas next month (September) and plan on doing a lot of wildlife and plant life photography. The diffuser, well, I do not do very much soft focus portrait photography anymore, but, hey, it is there when I need it. The polarizer on the other hand I will have a lot of use for it when doing cityscape photography on hot and sunny days. The leather case is of fine quality and does come with the three filters. The case does have the protective, padded dividers so no need to be concerned about scratches or any type of damage. I did purchase the 49mm and they fit perfectly on my Pentax 50mm f2 lens. What else can I say?Only that I am as happy as a clam and I can highly recommend this product. I also highly recommend the seller. Seller answered all my questions in a very courteous and professional manner. Another great transaction on Amazon.comThanks for reading.Antonio5All in all it's a good deal! The UV glass works well, although it does attract dust very easily. It's a good deal for the money. I love the little case. It's very nice and it really protects the filters. I haven't used the diffuser, but the cir. polarizer can only be used with the zoom, otherwise, the camera captures black spots on all four corners of the viewfinder. It may be an issue with the type of camera I own (Canon SX), but just be aware of this possibility. The polarizer is slightly ticker than the other two filters, and that may be the reason why I can't use it. Although my use of the polarizer filter is restricted to zoom, I'm happy with the UV and I'm hoping I will get some use out of the diffuser as well. All in all, the product is worth it! 4Just what I needed and more!I bought these mainly to replace my protective UV filter that's been beat up. I figured the polarizer would be good since I'll need to replace that soon too. I didn't think the soft filter would be useful or did I plan to use it, but after a rookie mistake yesterday, I've changed my mind! I took off the ND filter I had and thought I was putting on the UV filter yesterday before a hike, but accidently put on the soft filter. The whole hike I couldn't figure out why things looked blurry and thought maybe the interior of the lens had fogged due to temperature changes. I realized my mistake when I got home and wanted to kick myself. This morning I decided to process those photos. The soft focus was very cool on many of the photos! So I'm even happier with this set now!5No anti-reflective coating. Not suitable for photography. These filters have no anti-reflective coating at all. They are not suitable for any kind of photography as they will cause major loss of contrast due to the reflection of light as it passes through them. They seem well made but what good is that without anti-reflection.1Wonderful company and product I am satisfied with this product, but more satisfied with the quick help I received from Digital Goja. They followed up on my order and were quick to help me get a replacement as Amazon sent me the wrong size filters. I like the quality and the price. As an amateur photographer, I felt that this was a good starting point for me to try out new accessories and try to advance my craft. These attach to me 58mm Canon easily and am happy with my purchase. Thank you! 5DOESN'T FIT! Threads are good, but body is too big (Wide) to go into recess on camera lens.Maybe if the threads were longer? Also the diffuser's coating is unevenly applied. Didn't try the other two as they are constructed the same way (measured them with Calibrated digital caliper within 0.02mm). Where Was QC for thread length?1
