Sturdy mount, easy to adjust. It is very sturdy and easy to setup.Adjusting the tv set to be perfectly level is easily done by loosening the safety screws on the back and positioning the tv to the desired position. The mount tilts side to side effortlessly so I can watch TV from my bed or couch with great comfort. . A small issue I have with this mount is that extending and shortening the mount takes effort. There is too much resistance from the two hinges that allow it to extend. This makes me worried that if I push the tv with too much force I will damage it, so when I want to extend or contract the mount I have to go behind the tv set and adjust the hinges myself. 5if you are looking for a really tough, well ... if you are looking for a really tough, well built wall mount, this is it. they built this thing to support swinging chimpanzees. you cannot destroy it with a sledgehammer!!!! no, this is a really well made unit. comes with a template and a cute little baby level to put on the template so you do not mark your holes all cockeyed. our unit was really stiff though and once installed, we needed to loosen the hinged joints with the Allen key provided. other than that, no problems. 5Same level as Sanus quality!I'm using this wall mount for this TV: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BB0ZTO0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpageGenerally I like Sanus products. They're super well made and heavy duty. I needed to mount my TV to the wall and was about to drop 90 bucks on a Sanus wall mount and then decided to shop around. I found this company called Loktek. Seems all their products are highly regarded so I said screw it, it's 1/3 the price of a Sanus so if it sucks, I can return it.This thing is on the same level as Sanus products! They made it SUPER easy to install and it's quality just oozes from it. Cold rolled steel is pretty darn tough stuff and just overall well made. I was curious how I'd mount it by myself but really, it wasn't that hard at all. Outside me having to run up to work (only 10 minutes away) to get some better tools to work with, install from start to finish was maybe 20 minutes. Some tips for those not so handy.1) You obviously will need to drill into a stud. You only ever want to drill a hole that matches the size of the shaft of the bolt. So take a drill bit and hold it side by side. The shaft the threads go around should match your drill bit. You only really want the teeth biting into the wood, anything less you'll cause the bolt to push into the wood making it expand and possibly blowing out your stud making it useless. I forget which size I used.2) The little wrench they gave you is useless and will just take you longer. Grab either a 10mm socket or a 10mm nut driver and make your life easier.3) If you're doing this alone, mount the first hole first but not too tight so you can still move it with little effort and put your bubble level on it. Once you get it level, then drill the bottom hole using the hole in the tv mount as a guide.4) Before mounting the TV, make sure the securing screws on the tv side brackets are unscrewed most of the way or it'll get in the way of it mounting flush. It'll be harder to unscrew them with the TV in the way.My only con I can give people is the instructions are seriously useless.5Solid and Comes with Hardware It's not exciting, it's not going to change the way you live, it's not going to actualize you as a person. It's a TV wall mount and it does this task as well as you could expect. The thing is solid, comes with all the hardware to mount to your TV, and big fat bolts to secure to your wall. It's meant to fit between studs built to spec, you may need to stick some 2x4s on the wall if your builder is an idiot like mine was. 5Very solid and low profileI purchased this wall mount for a 60 Samsung LED TV. It works perfect. There are four choices for hardware to secure the brackets to the TV. One of the choices fit my TV so I did not have to run to the hardware store for additional machine screws. The mount installation was very simple. It comes with a little level and a cardboard template which makes it easy to drill the holes and get the lag screws in the right place. One the TV is mounted, the articulation is awesome. It can come out from the wall and turn or tilt to get the right angle you want from anywhere in the room. But when you push it in the wall it is surprisingly low profile. Very good TV mount and you can t beat the price for the features you get.5This is a pretty stable and secure mount for the price This is a pretty stable and secure mount for the price. It seems that it should hold the weight it is rated for. The biggest problem (and it's a pretty big one) is what you've probably already seen on other reviews. This mount will only work with 16" wall stud spacing. I originally bought this to mount an older Vizio (about 40 lbs.) and when I discovered this I decided to set a couple of 2 X 4 runners along the wall (from stud to stud) to mount to. Problem solved, right? Nope. The second problem is that the bracket itself that goes to the TV has a maximum of about 16" as well. So if you are like me and plan to mount a larger or older screen to this check your bolt spacing on the back of the TV itself. If the horizontal spacing is more than 16", forget it. 2Excellent product! Easy to Install and Durable First off, when I opened the package, I found everything I needed to install the mount; a wall template, a bubble level, all the appropriate screws and bolts and complete instructions for a variety of mounting options. Following the instructions, the mounting process was easy and was able to get the TV mounted perfectly the first time! For the price, this product exceeded my expectations -I would definitely buy again (if/when the need occurs). 5Solid and DependableI don t write reviews often, but this one deserves it. I was dangerously close to spending $200 at Best Buy on one of the mounts in their limited selection, however, I made the wisest choice ever by selecting this mount. I have a 58 Samsung UHD flatscreen that weighs 45 lbs, and it mounted beautifully over our fireplace (just ensure you have studs). Once you get the proper measurements of where you want the mount, the rest is cake with another person assisting. The material is durable and it pulls out from the wall with ease. I don t have any fears of it being able to hold up our TV in the fully extended position, and I am confident it would hold a much heavier TV than ours. Overall, excellent product. I recommend it!5Sturdy Mount with Great Features and a Great PriceThis was evidently a new product when I bought it as there weren't any reviews available for it at the time, but it had the features I was looking for, so I decided to give it a try. I have had it installed for a little over a month now, and I am very happy with how it works. There were three features that I particularly wanted: 1) A base that gives you a lot of flexibility for where you put in the screws when you attach it to your wall. 2) The articulated arms that allow you to either push it almost flat against the wall or let you pull it a good 12" away from the wall. 3) Fully flexible (but VESA compliant) attachment to the TV that gives you both room for vertical adjustment to move the TV higher or lower and left/right tilting adjustment to ensure that your TV is level even if the base is not 100% level. This mount does all three of those things very well and works perfectly for our 55" TV. There are also adjustment screws that make it possible to pivot the bottom edge of the TV closer or further away from the wall allowing you to angle the TV down a bit if you need to. The construction is quality heavy duty metal that is rock solid but pivots smoothly for viewing adjustment. #1 above is especially important, as, if you have ever done any kind of wall-hanging project before, you will know that the studs are almost never lined up perfectly for where you need them. (Note: You do want this firmly anchored in wooden wall studs or similar wooden supports. If you have any doubt about your ability to hang this yourself, bring in a professional. Improperly hanging this mount could ruin your wall and your TV.) Since the base of the mount has a top and bottom rail each approximately 17" wide with lots of slots along each rail where the screws can go, you can make it work even if the studs in your wall are not lined up exactly where you would want them. Do note that this is _not_ any kind of a quick release mount -- it's _not_ designed to make it easy to quickly take your TV down and put it back up again. It's designed to give you a lot of flexibility for horizontal and vertical adjustment when mounting and then easily, on-the-fly, angle your TV left, right, or straight on for comfortable viewing wherever your furniture is.5Excellent TV MountThis product performed beyond my expectations. I'm very happy with it, especially the tilt up and down feature, which I have found to be flimsy with other mounts. It offers the right amount of resistance in all it's motions. I definitely recommend this mount, and would buy it again.5Good quality and range of motionPut this in a bedroom where we needed the TV to pivot just a bit, but wanted it to set flat if we wanted to push it back against the wall. This one's made solid and does what you'd expect. I've installed quite a few of these wall mounts over the years and this one installed just as easy as any other. Works as expected.5Easy to install - Small Level includedGreat TV Mount. Used it for my sons recent bedroom makeover. He bought himself a 50 Smart TV - it worked perfect and gives him just the angles he needs to see from everywhere in his room! Installation was easy. Came with everything you needed to get the job done including a small level which I thought was totally awesome. Way to think of everything. It was my husbands first time installing a TV mount and he said he isn t intimidated anymore by the process.5It's very well constructed and I would definitely recommend it. However it was a little difficult for ... It did everything it was supposed to do. It's very well constructed and I would definitely recommend it. However it was a little difficult for me to get it back to it's original position after fully extending it out and pivoting it to either side. Now I understand that you have to work with it a little, moving it from side to side to get in into position, but it works great. If you get it, you will not be disappointed. 4Very comparable to $100 dollar mounts Excellent mount, very sturdy and high quality. Taking off a star because i had to cut down the two bars that connect to the tv. Taking off another star because it did not come with enough "universal" screws and washers to connect to the tv. I had to modify the heck out of it for it to fit my samsung tv. 3Pretty sturdy for a 55" Vizio (38lbs). This went up well! Loved the template of cardboard. Made measurements for how tall my TV was... Halfed that. Halfed the space it was going in. Found the middle for both. Placed cardboard in middle and made my holes. Make sure you have 16" to center studs. It would work on less but NOT MORE. I was contemplating one from harbor freight or Walmart... This was cheaper and much more sturdy. My Vizio 55" fits well. It was a 400x400mm.The TV sits on the mount and then you tighten with some screws. I didn't tighten them all the way and when I tried to push it in, the whole TV slid... So it's not the best system but once I tightened everything well it is super sturdy. Enjoy!! 5Strong!!!Mounted my 43 inch Samsung on the wall myself. Easy to mount, the swivel is enough to view the television comfortably from my island or my sofa. Sturdy....I m not worried the least about this product failing. The quality is evident right out of the box.5Sturdy, sleekHad this I stalled by my handyman (took 30 minutes) Thisbis svery sturdy. Wish range was better but I k ew the angles based on description and no one makes much better angles anyway. Very sleek. I am very happy!5Fleximounts are great but note the following. I bought this product a few weeks ago for my 55'' TV and I read the instructions before mounting. I did all the necessary measurements and made sure I got everything right. After drilling the holes and screwing in the brackets I was ready to hang my TV - well one of them..I was a bit lazy to hang the 55'' which is what this TV mount was purchased for. Instead I tried to hang an older TV - 40" (vesa 100x150) which I had for some time now. After mounting up the TV brackets the next step was to hang the TV on the wall mount...Well to my surprise it was difficult to hang as something was blocking the bracket from mounting to the wall mount. After some checking I finally realized the problem. The distance between the center mount bolts on the wall mount is about 4.5" or 114mm. I checked Amazon's site and the vesa specifications included a minimum of 100x100mm. How could this be I wondered? Finally I went to the vendor's website and found the specifications for the vesa mount and the minimum size of 200x200....The good out of all this is that the TV which the mount was purchased for meets the vesa minimum of 200x200.All in all this product mounts sturdy and while it's a bit stiff I have no problem with that as it will help to stabilize a heavy TV as the one I am hanging.I will certainly buy this product again but it won't hurt of you go to the vendor's website to ensure compatibility. 5This is built really strongI've used other brackets before and this one is super strong. Mostly because it connects to 2 wall studs instead of just one. I really like it, the only possible problem is it covers my TV Ethernet port, but i use a Roku so I don't need that port. I think if i really wanted to i could fit it in there but it would be a bit tricky.5
