I would not buy longer runs of this cable if you want a steady 4k signal No good, at least for the 25' run that i had. Feels and looks like a premium cable but unfortunately my Vixio E series 4k HDR TV connected to an Onkyo TX-NR636 and a PS4 and Chromecast Ultra had all kinds of signal drop problems. I was losing the picture for 3 - 5 seconds every 1 - 2 minutes. Extremely annoying. I went and bought a Monoprice cable (Dynamic View Active) and all my signal issues are gone. Of course to replace the cable I had to pull the TV off the wall and go back into the attic and snake cables through the wall to replace this one. Fun times! 1For some reason I thought this would be cool because of the flat design but for my purposes For some reason I thought this would be cool because of the flat design but for my purposes, I would rather have a thin round cable. So I guess it just depends how you use it. I have to set this up and put it away for one-day use here and there. It comes in a nicely spooled up circle - one end in the middle and it just wraps around. But if you try to use it this way (and keep the excess cable spooled up as much as possible), it's difficult to put it back into the circular form. And if you decide to just undo it all and start spooling it from the beginning, it will take a long time as opposed to "zig-zagging" a round cable. And if you zig zag this cable it will be very thick because all the flat sides will be this way and that. Unless you want to take the time to make it nice. But it works and looks nice. Doesn't have any kinks since i'm trying to keep it that way. The plastic shroud at the ends can be a little too much depending on where you're plugging it in. The port on my monitor is in such a way that i'm practically bending the port a little so I can squeeze the cable in there. From the very tip of gold plated connector to the end of the plastic shroud is about 1.75 - 2 inches. 4Good wire for older projector 720p. Future ready with 4k. So far it works great when the wire before it being a 1.3 standard was not working so well with frames of video dropping I knew I had to replace my hdmi cable. I bought another brand that was future ready just like this flat one and it didn't work, my thoughts that it would work only with newer equipment as my can be old considering what is available today, Im using a 2004 panasonic 720p projector that I bought from Craigslist. This wire works great with no signal loss that I can notice. Like I said single was lost in my 1.3 standard wire but not in this 2.0 standard one. Another plus is the wire is flat which I really like as eventually the room will be painted and the wire can clone right into the wall looking very professional. I am happy to watch my home Cinema without any signal loss which made the video have interference like snow popping up on screen every now and then. That single loss was annoying and I was the only person that noticed it because I'm so finiky about my home theater. I honestly wish I can afford a newer projector with 3D and maybe even 4K but I got to live with the equipment I have as it is what I can afford. However I wanted any purchases for it to be future ready and buying this 2.0 standard 4k wire did it for me. Now I do not have to buy a new hdmi wire when I upgrade my projector. 5This HDMI Cable Is Unidirectional Got the cable, connected it between my A/V processor and my flat display located in different room and no picture & no sound. On a hunch i thought of removing the cable and re-installing it again but switching the end connectors and, voila, perfect results. This cable must be connected properly : input side of the cable connected to output from source and the cable output connected to the display otherwise it will not pass any HDMI signal and there is no warning on package that the cable must be connected one way only. There are no marks or signs on each end connector to indicate "input connector" and "output connector" however, when i received my cable, there was a piece of paper attached to one end connector with the caption "4K 2K" and that end connector turned out to be the one to connect to the source output. 5I want to like this cable.. (failed days after warranty ended) I purchased this cable a few days over 1 year ago (as seems to be the case these days). Since there's only a 1 year limited warranty, I'm a bit SOL. I travel during the winter season to 3-4 different locations in the US doing trade shows, and wanted to have a cable long enough that I could hook it up to the hotel TV's and watch movies while still having access to the laptop. I thought this would be the solution. Unfortunately, I only got to use it twice in 2018, and once just recently. This most recent use showed it to be unusable. Between trips, it was rolled up (exactly the manner in which I received it), and put in a sealed container in my office.I really want to like this cable, but I'm just exhausted paying for "higher quality" items that fall apart just like the cheap versions within its first year. When it works, it's amazing. Maybe I'm just cynical, but almost like clockwork, or planned obsolescence, consumer goods fail days after their coverage expires.I'm not exactly sure what my options are now. Maybe I'll buy and carry around 3 cheaper versions, because that's efficient. 1Doesn't work with the new Apple TV in 4K Dolby Vision or 4K HDR. Bought these HDMI cables in anticipation of running 4K HDR and Dolby Vision over them with the Apple TV 4K. However it does not work in 4K HDR and Dolby Vision. This was A/B tested with the HDMI cable included with the Vizio P55-C1 which supported all the above formats. It could be a bad cable but it does work when set to 4K SDR. I have yet to try the second cable to see if it can handle either 4K Dolby Vision or 4K HDR but my suspicion is the result will be the same. The tested cable was pulled from its installation to assure there were no sources of interference which didn't effect the results. 3Seems to work perfectly. Seems to produce image at 1080p on my HDTV. A new 4k TV arrives on Jan 25th so expect an update then.It arrived promptly, wrapped in a circle for ease of transport. Having unrolled it, there were no unsightly kinks or any noticeable damage to the outside of the cable.Great length (35FT), low profile and nice looking plugs (minor detail but, in my house/set up; it is visible). An HDMI cable should plug in and work with most devices out the box, which this product of course did.I noticed severe frame rate issues playing a low requirement game to test from my PC at 1080p to the TV, despite my GTX 1080 having no issues with frame rate on ultra settings, 4k resolution on my 27inch 4k LG monitor.I intend to troubleshoot the above frame rate issue, as could be and is more likely due to something else; but for now can neither confirm nor deny that the cable is the culprit. As such, works as expected and 5 star until proven otherwise. 5Clarity Cables has great products, great prices I purchased the 50' HDMI flat cable from Clarity Cables to hook up my laptop to my 60' T.V. After I ran the cable around the room and glued it to the baseboard, it match the color of the baseboard perfectly. Then I realized that I needed additional 10' to complete my cable system. Ipurchased a 10' cable then hook up the 50' cable to the 10' cable and the signal did not work, the 50' cable work perfectly alone. It was confusing. So I calledClarity Cable and spoke to Ari and he explained to me why adding a 10' cable did not work. My mistake, I should have purchased a 60' cable.Clarity Cables has great products, great prices, and great customer service. 5Works fine for my needs I needed a long flat cable to run from front of my room to rear supplying HDMI to a projector. I am not doing 4K, but thought a 4k rated cable might be more reliable at the long distance. Running under an area rug so the flat profile was desired. This cable works perfectly so far for 1080 signals at this distance. The ends seem well made and sturdy compared to some inexpensive cables. I like the white color. 5This cable is great if you need to route it through the room This cable is great if you need to route it through the room. Thanks to its shape I was able to place it behind the blindfolds and effectively hide it. This setup got a really high WAF (wife acceptance factor). 5
