nice case I like how the case snaps closed magnetically, my only issue is that holding the tablet with the case on, opposed to utilizing the front as a folded stand, is kind of awkward. When used as a stand, the magnetic strip holds the stand in place, took me almost a week to figure out that you need to make sure you have the cover close to the magnetic strip to make it work, when you fold the cover into a stand just pinch them together and it should stay put. 4I didn't expect it to be this good. I'm using this on my pad as I write this. Summary:This is a worthwhile buy. The cover doesn't look impressive initially, but functionally it is fantastic. I have had the same cover for 4 years, and virtually not deterioration. It holds my pad well and is easy to use.Pros:1) Durable.2) Good quality.3) Functional.4) Good price.5) Lightweight.6) Can stand up sanitizing cleansers.7) Magnets don't crack.Cons:1) The folding stand can get soft over time. 5Useful add-on This case makes gripping the LG G Pad a lot easier, and the Quick Cover makes waking and putting the tablet to sleep more convenient. The plastic shell on the back is solidly made, and the cutouts for the camera and speaker holes fit precisely over their counterparts. The cover does leave some lint on the screen, but I guess that can't really be helped, and it's easily brushed away. It doesn't add much weight to the tablet, and the added protection provides peace of mind. Now that I've used the case, I wish LG had just sold the tablet with those traits already included and spared me the trouble of hunting this down. 5A revelation! I bought this for my mother-in-law, since I was sick to death of listening to her complain about her tablet case. She got her G Pad as a freebie from Verizon, but the case they sold her for it was some overpriced generic piece of junk that was way too big, and only held the tablet in with elastic straps over each corner. The straps not only got in the way of the screen, but also blocked EVERY button, so she'd have to fish around under them every time she needed to access volume or the lock/unlock button. I finally got tired of watching the tragic display. This case fits her tablet like a glove, with plenty of room to access any buttons and ports, but the biggest plus for her is that it automatically locks/unlocks the screen just by flipping it open and closed (I believe I had to enable this feature in the tablet's settings to make it work). She never uses the front flap as a stand, but it's got all the creases in all the right places if she ever wanted to.She's had her case for close to a year and it's holding up great! She crams her tablet in her overstuffed purse all the time, and both the tablet and the case look brand new. I'm especially impressed with the durability of the main hinge that connects the front flap to the back of the case. Now rather than listening to her grouse about her crappy old case I've had to listen to her gush endlessly about how great this one is. I just can't win either way! 5It's not an extremely rugged case but it's really nice and light weight I think this is about the fourth or fifth Fintie tablet cover I've ordered over the years. This is the second one for my LG. After nearly 3 years the old one was beginning to split a little around the edges. I've occasionally dropped my various tablets a time or two and the Fintie cases have provided the necessary protection. It's not an extremely rugged case but it's really nice and light weight. The smart switch has worked great on all of them. I don't just buy a case for protection. I buy it because it give me something else additional to hold on to when I'm reading something on the tablet. I like something more that just the tablet to hang onto when I'm reading or watching a movie on my tablet. Tri-fold cover works great as a stand or gives me something to hang onto behind the tablet.I wouldn't recommend it for little kids or the outdoor road warrior, but for average everyday use it's great. 5Cracked Edges After a Few Months, Eventually Magnets Will Fall Out (Updated review, April 2018) The case is cracked after 8 months (purchased April 2017), not from wear, but from a cheap design flaw. The right-side plastic edge is cracked where the two magnets (to keep the cover closed) are embedded. Eventually, the magnets will fall out, and then the cover will not stay closed. I mostly use this LG v-410 I for a few minutes about once a week to read news online, and I never remove the tablet from the case, because that would stress the edges and loosen the case. I have seen this problem with other cheap tablet cases from other poor manufacturers. I can understand that plastic becomes brittle after some years of REGULAR use, but OCCASIONAL use after 8 months? And, this is my seldom-used tablet. My primary tablet, a Nexus 7 (2013) with an almost identical MoKo case from June 2017 is uncracked and pristine.Updated Review (April 2018): After months of using a case that cracked, I bought this same case again. The company never responded to my critical review, so when prompted by Amazon to review again, I posted another critical review.PROS:Slim, tight fit.Cheap price.CONS:This case will eventually crack, the magnets will fall out, and the cover will not stay closed.Cracking and failure will be exacerbated by inserting and removing the tablet from the case. They gray felt-like inner cover picks up dirt and hand oils, staining the surface.Because of the slim, tight fit, this case will probably only survive one drop, especially if it lands on a corner (not flat). 1One of the best tablet cases I have ever used They weren't kidding when they said "Ultra-Slim case" ! This is a quality designed and very well made case. The tablet fits into a semi hard-shell back case that protects the back and sides of the tablet with and attached ridged, segmented, magnetic folding cover to protect the screen. This is one of the lightest, slimmest tablet cases I have ever seen or used. It is barely larger than the tablet itself, yet fully protects the tablet. The screen cover easily folds back into a triangle shape that allows the tablet to stand up at the correct angle for viewing. I also discovered that if I fold the cover back into this triangle support configuration, it acts as a great handle for holding and operating the tablet while standing or sitting, which is much more secure than trying to span my hand across the back.I also like that the screen shuts off to save battery power when the cover is closed, but the screen immediately wakes up when you open the cover and you are ready to use your tablet. My only minor complaint is that it only supports the tablet in the horizontal, Wide-Screen position (Landscape), but so far that has not been a big issue for me, but I suspect some will want or need that capability. 5The hard shell makes me comfortable enough to take it out in public without fear ... I was very impressed to see that the tablet case was hard plastic with a folding screen cover. The only thing I might change would a magnetic spot for holding the cover open when it is folded over to use the tablet. I will say that the magnet works well when folded into a triangle to use the tablet in an upright landscape position. The hard shell makes me comfortable enough to take it out in public without fear of damaging the tablet. Plus all of the buttons are still accessible even with the case on the tablet. If you are looking for something inexpensive but looks and feels like you paid more, then this tablet case is for you. Never having heard of Fintie before I would definitely buy more products from them in the future. 4Shockingly good case for the money Shockingly good case for the money for the LG G Pad 7.0 V410 LTE.. Couldn't be happier. For the price of a screen protector, I get a case that also acts as a stand and also provides some small degree of protection for drops. The magnetic closure/auto screen off/sleep feature is great and works perfectly. It's a real power saver. When configured as a stand, this case is stable and holds the screen at a reasonable 25-30 degrees from vertical. (And on these tablets, if you configure "Daydream" in display settings, you have a nice little clock for your bedside while charging.)8 bucks. Delivered in two days. Quality construction. Perfect fit. What's not to like? Recommended. 5Four Stars It fits the tablet nicely. And it looks and feels good. 4
