Customer Reviews

Great Product I have not had this for an extended period of time so I can not say how well it is after ware and tare but so far is a great tablet case with key board. The case is heavy so the added weight is a bit of an annoyance but that is the only real down side, it has a tight hold on my device but not so insane that I can never pry it out when needed. The keyboard is SUPER thin and light and is magnetized to stay in place so it will not be slipping out when the case is closed and being held side ways. There is no unnecessary bulk and when case is closed with the keyboard it is not bigger than the average paperback book. Also the pairing to my tablet took all of 3 seconds with no extra software or apps needed. I would recommend this for a great protective casse and keyboard that is easy to use. 5Great keyboard/case combo. Surprisingly easy to type on. I am surprised how comfortable this is to type on. I'm writing this review on it right now. I got it for Christmas and it' been awesome. Really turns my Tab A mini into a mini laptop. I don't know if I would type a 10 page paper on it but for reviews like this or emails or short documents, it's perfect. My only real complaint is the apostrophe key. it's one of the function keys and I forget and I end up hitting the return key instead. Other than that it really is a comfortable keyboard to type on and it folds up in it's case perfectly. I have it paired along with a BT mouse and I get a lot done. 5Be careful, this is for a Galaxy tab 8 A and not a 8 E. There's a difference and I didnt know it. Just a warning- There are 2 different galaxy Tab 8's. There is a Galaxy Tab A and a Galaxy Tab E. This one is for the A which must be larger because it was too big for my tablet which turned out to be an E. I had no idea there was a difference in sizes of a 8 inch tablet? I thought 8 inches meant 8 but the A is about an inch too large. Product came quick and works fine. I looked into shipping it back to get the correct one but it was going to cost me almost 9$ to ship it so I grabbed some double sided tape and put it on the back of my tablet and secured it and since I always have a cover on it It doesnt matter to me. 4... I bought this item for my Galaxy Tab A Model SMT350The tab fits in the frame really nicely. The keyboard attaches top the other side of the lid, which is magnetic. The keyboard connected immediately without any issues. The keyboard's battery is charged from factory so do not charge it right away; wait until it alerts you.My issue is with the actual quality of the case:I have to remove the keyboard and place the smooth side on top of the tablet to be able to close it, as the closing flap's magnet is NOT strong enough to keep it safely shut. So I see it more like a "Wrap" than a cove/ case. You will have to move the keyboard to almost the edge (closing flap) to be able to position the tablet at a high angle for use. However, for the price is fair enough 3Great case, though perhaps could have better implementation of design. I purchased the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 along with this case, and am happy with the bluetooth keyboard and the case itself. The only recommendations I have for the case is that the frame for the tablet could be magnetized to the keyboard if possible for greater stability. Also the length of the flap, while understandable due to how the case closes, can be unwieldy when trying to hold it open to read/use the tablet screen due to the foldability of the material; with the keyboard on it gives you three? options for the angle of the tablet, but can get annoying with having to move the keyboard forward and back to adjust the screen or just when opening and closing the case. Other than that I am extremely happy with the case, it can be closed with the keyboard on it. The screen protector I bought prevents scratching so haven't had any issues with that. The quality of the material for the case is excellent, so I would buy from this company again. 4So cute & easy to set up! I purchased the Rose Gold color and love it! Its a beautiful color with a little shimmer, the case fits perfectly for my Samsung Tab A 8.0. It comes with the user manual but it was so easy to set up, I just clicked the "on" button and my tablet gave me the rest of the instructions! The keyboard is easy to use, the size will need some getting used to but it connects magnetically to the case very well. I'm very pleased with it and will be ordering another for my husband's tablet (different color of course! ) 5... purchased this two weeks ago and at first I loved it, I thought it was really well made I purchased this two weeks ago and at first I loved it, I thought it was really well made. I loved the way the material felt, seemed high quality. One thing I didn't like about it though was that it seemed a bit awkward to open. Instead of opening with a left and right flap fold, it kind of unrolls (if that makes sense). Even then so, I got used to it and learned to cope.Upon closer examination two weeks later, I find hairline cracks on where my tablet snaps into place. And they seem be getting wider. I hope this was just a defective product because I would have loved to love this. 2Decent product, but finnicky keyboard This keyboard is generally a handy device to deal with the pains of typing extensively on the Galaxy Tab touchscreen. I typically use it for replying to emails or web browsing. It can be a little cramped (as expected with its size) and some of the key placements don't make sense (like having to use two keys just to type in an apostrophe. The magnetic holder for the keyboard is super convenient, though, but means that the keyboard has no place to be hiddden away when not in use.The keyboard is bit buggy, with some key presses resulting in repeated characters or no characters showing up. The biggest issue, however, is a strange bug wherein typing a space or punctuation will occassionally move that character to the beginning of the word, even when the cursor is at the end of the word. This then will happen repeatedly. When this happens, the keyboard virtually becomes unusual. I am using the keyboard to type this review right now, and at one point this bug made this task nearly impossible. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the bluetooth connection or what, but that is the main reason why I am giving this product three stars. 3Worth the buy, great keyboard case I was a little leary after reading some of the reviews but I love this keyboard case! I've have it for over two months now and have no complaints. Some reviewers complained about having to move the keyboard up to close the case, but I see no reason to complain for the low price. It's held on magnetically so it's easy to take on and off but strong enough so that you don't have to worry about it slipping. Sturdy enough for me to type papers on my lap. Perfect for the bust student who needs to type papers on the go. 5Excellent addition to a tablet. I am using my new Fintie keyboard to write this review. This little keyboard is useable though not, of course, ideal for long term use. You wouldn t want to type on it all day, that s for sure. Due to it s small size, there are inevitable compromises. First, the keyboard layout is idiosyncratic. Both the and symbol are accessed through the function key. The delete key also accessed with the function key. The small size of the keyboard makes touch typing a challenge.Actually, true touch typing is impossible. A modified touch typing scheme is possible, which I am using right now. Since, the keyboard is small, I have to look at it to ensure that spelling doesn t suffer. On a regular sized keyboard, I can look at the screen, and not the keyboard at all. Even looking at the keyboard, more errors than usual crop up. Mostly they involve problems with the spacebar. It is small, so it is easy to miss it. Run-on words are common. Example: I had to correct thekeyboard in the above sentence.Another quirk I have found is that sometimes (not often) the Bluetooth connection will just drop for no discernable reason. Easy enough to reconnect, but it happens occasionally. The key strokes are pretty much instantaneous so there is not problem with responsiveness. The keyboard is extremely light, weighs hardly nothing at all, and the tablet itself seems pretty well protected by the case. The magnet holds the keyboard firmly in place, and keeps the case closed firmly when you fold it up. All in all, this keyboard is much more useable than the on screen virtual keyboard that is on the tablet screen, but a step or two less functional than a full sized keyboard. Make sure you use this with good spellcheck program with a robust autocorrect feature, and most of your spelling errors will be resolve on the fly.In addition to this keyboard, I have a Logitech K480, which is also a Bluetooth device and much larger and heavier. It is portable, but not something you would want to carry around everywhere. I have it here at my desk, and use it when I am here at the office. The Fintie goes with me every where else. At this price point, $27 on Amazon, this is definitely a great addition to the usability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A I use. Get this keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse, and it really improves the functionality of an Android tablet. Of the two, if I could only have one, I would take a mouse.Attached is a photo of the Fintie, Logitech and a standard keyboard, for comparison purposes.UPDATE: I bought this keyboard a few weeks ago, and reviewed it. I am updating this in a separate question because I confused with what is going on. First, this keyboard still works quite well, for email and with a word processing program. Where it is falling down is with posting on the Internet, both on Facebook and in various forums I post in. To be fair, this problem is not limited to the Fintie keyboard. It also occurs with my Bluetooth Logitech K480. The problem with both is word order transposing while typing a sentence. Here is an example: If I type This Fintie keyboard works fine most of the time but is intermittently wonky. I will get: This keyboard Fintie works fine of most the time is but intermittently wonky. It will randomly change word order. Both of the keyboards, the Fintie and the Logitech, do this. When I am typing, the cursor will move from the end of the word, right back to in front of the word I just typed. Type Fintie and the cursor moves back in front of the F. Try to move the cursor back to where it is supposed to be and the next letter you type moves right back to in front of the F. Typing is garbled to the point of unuseability, at least for FB posts and forum posts. Again, this is not a Fintie only problem. Both of my Bluetooth keyboards work fine for email and with Word. This must be a Samsung or possibly an Android problem. If anybody can fix this, please let me know. 5
