just inesrt, twril, and pull! I love my girlfriend a lot! Enough to have her move in with me a few months ago. As a bachelor living on my own for the past 5 years, it was quite a change. I rarely cook anymore, I can't remember the last time I did the dishes, she even enjoys mowing the lawn! What a catch... It's just really been a win-win-win situation. Until I noticed more and more everyday that my showers were slowly turning into baths...She has a lot of hair, and sheds more frequently than the cat it seems. Whatevs, Ordered these bad boys to tackle the issue. Arrived quickly as always, and I promptly ran up to the bathroom and followed the helpful instructions.I inesrted the Father.son contraption into my shower drain, twrilled it a few times, then attempted to pull it out... SNAP. Did I inesrt improperly? Or did I twril too quickly? I have no idea, since I have no idea what these words mean. I do know what "pull" means, so I'm fairly positive I did that correctly. I grabbed a pair of needle nose pliers and yanked the broken bit out. A clump of hair the size of a small rat came with it. Seriously not even sure how that mass fit into the drain in the first place. I ran another one of these miracle tools down and pulled a few more lumps out. Yuck. Wear glove next time, self. Tested the shower out and she drains like a champ now.Summary: pretty flimsy and fragile, but taking shipping into account they're practically free. They did do the job, so a net win in my book (recommend having some sort of pliers because it's gonna break). 4Maybe not for 55 year old pipe. Who would have thought a little strip of plastic could knock a hole in a metal pipe? But the pipe was corroded and just waiting to fail.It worked as hoped on the other sink, and I recommend these things, but you have to use them consciously.Place hands where needed to keep the springy plastic from jumping away and flinging moldygunk around as you draw it from the drain or pull hair loose. Don t bother keeping one hand and the handle end clean. The drainglop rinses off easily when you re done, and you ll be rinsing the handle with the rest of it anyway.Keep in mind that a few people report that it broke while in the pipe, so Try to manipulate it with care, in such a way that that won t happen. It should definitely be used wet. I don t think anything could dislodge the stuff that s down drains when it s dried on.And open the cabinet and take a look at the pipe to make sure it s intact, just in case. Then you can turn the water on to see it actually rush down the drain as of old. 4Really Works! This set of 4 drain snakes really work! You just uncoil one; insert in in the drain and it will catch on the hair clogging the drain. You then pull it out. I now have a clear, hair free drain! You might also want to get the TubShroom to protect your drain from future hair clogs. 5The answer to a slow drain These things are amazing! Pulled a wad of hair out of my shower drain thinker than my ponytail And now I'm not standing in ankle deep water when showering And each peice can be used several times. This is the answer to a slow drain. 5These are way too inexpensive for how effective they are I used this to unclog my bathtub. My drain holes were not large enough to accommodate the twisting motion, so I inserted it, shook it around a bit and pulled it out . It still worked amazingly. I was surprised by how simple, cheap yet affective this solution is.Side note, I read some reviews which said the snake snapped while pulling it out. I don't know if they have updated the product since, but the snakes I recieved seem pretty reliable.Pro tip: If you are still worried about this happening, just run the snake under warm water for a couple of seconds before using it. Cold plastics are less ductile and therefore more vulnerable to snapping. Warming it up a little first (especially during winter) should minimize the chances of this happening. 5Nifty little gadget I was sick of calling the plumber to snake hair out of my drains. This little gem got really good reviews, so I made the purchase. I could not believe how much hair I got out of my drains! This item has saved us about $100.00 so far. It is easy to use, and easy to clean up after. I was a little apprehensive about getting it stuck, but I went slow and easy and had no problems. I realize that at some point, I will have to have the drains snaked, but not nearly as often as before. I am very glad I got these. 5Awesome ~ Highly recommended!!!! These little guys are awesome!!! I used just one on every drain in my 2 bath home (including the kitchen). Now my home drain's happy and issue free. :)I found it best to insert the snake into the drain first, then fill the sink basin full, or the tub/shower with a few gallons of water. Let it start to drain, then start plungering the snake tool. This allows all the gunk, hair, etc to flow through and you don't have to see it or clean it up afterwords. Worked great for me.Highly recommended and I will definitely buy again to have extra's on hand. A lot cheaper than calling a plumber or buying/using harsh chemicals. 5It finds monsters in your drain!! This thing is life changing!! As a crazy person who likes to clean gross things, I was pretty excited about trying this thing out when my shower started to drain slowly. I ve only lived in my house for a year (no prior owners either) and I was astonished to pull out this monster from my drain! I was expecting some hair but never a monster of this magnitude. It was pretty insane. I also only got one and glad I did because it is reusable. Just clean it off and save for another go around in a few months. I highly recommend this to everyone! 5What a money saver!! This is a little tricky to get the hang of, but boy oh boy did it work. We got out a huge snake of hair on the first pass. Cleaned that clogged drain right up and saved me over $50 in plumber fees. Definitely going to keep these on hand. A little disgusting, ok, a lot disgusting, but totally worth it. Especially with three showers in the house. 5Perfect!!! I have never ever been so grossed out in my entire life. That being said, this product is the absolute best, lol. I had three drains in my house that were draining painfully slowly (two bathroom sinks and one tub). I knew a plumber would be big bucks which is annoying when it s something as simple as removing hair/debris. This product is so insanely affordable and so easy to use. Yes, it gets stuck sometimes but with gentle maneuvering, it comes right back up. I can t believe how much STUFF came out of the drains. So disgusting and satisfying at the same time. I ll definitely be purchasing again unless I don t end up needing to! These are incredibly sturdy as long as they re being used properly. Awesome product! Life and money saver. 5
