    Find a different option. My husband loved receiving an engraved tool from our son. The message was simple and sweet. However, the wooden shaft of the hammer had obviously been removed for the engraving process. It was replaced very poorly, with visible glue globbed all the way around the meeting of the shaft and hammer's head. The shaft is also wiggling and wobbling in its precarious position. It can definitely NOT EVER be used as a tool, not even to build a small stand for the gift itself, which was a planned activity for father and son. Overall, I am giving it three stars because the engraving looked as advertised and it arrived on time. With the higher cost than others out there, should probably be a two. I will not buy from this company again. 2I didn't even give it as a gift to my Dad because I was so disappointed. I'm returning this product It's very cheaply made. You could still see the glue coming out of the steel head and onto the "wood" of the handle, and the engraving is not as dark as the picture shows. This product is exploiting the Father's Day holiday and is nowhere near a fair price point. Maybe $15. I didn't even give it as a gift to my Dad because I was so disappointed. I'm returning this product. 1Not happy with product. It is sentimental and functional and whoever came up with this is a freaking genius. I absolutely love this gift and so did my father when I sent it to him for Father's Day. It is extra handy if the men in your life or your father or woman or whatever is handy around the house or has an office. Either way, what are you give it to be used or simply displayed, it is a reminder of your appreciation for all the hard work and continuous work in progress that goes along with building your village.There is nothing that I can possibly say about this product as it is well made and yet it's value can be split into its meaning and simplicity. I had been eyeing this up for 9 months and finally decided to order this. The quality is great and it was perfect for what I needed. I created a shadow box for my dad for Christmas. 5Not worth it, terrible quality Tried to buy this as a father's day gift. Received it promptly, however it is not suitable for that. The hammer itself can't be one that you would buy at a hardware store like the description says, because the head is hot glued onto the handle and falling off. The engraving is also done very poorly, it's v very faint, and almost looks like they missed going over it with ink, the or the wood has an odd deformity just over the engraving. I understand not much can be done about deformities in the wood, but they could've gone with a different hammer instead of this particular one. This is definitely not worth the money they charge for it. 1It's a hammer but... Well, this is a Father's Day gift and when it came I picked up the hammer and the head came off. It looked like it had been glued on and came off or got too hot while being delivered. It did not look very good. I am going to have to put the head on it myself and fix some issues. I did purchase 2 hammers. One Hammer said I'll always be your little girl. That Hammer came perfect and looked great. The engraving is not the same color on both hammers. In my picture you can see the difference in color. My wife and I plan to give these hammers to our fathers at the same time. They just look a little different and the one had to be cleaned up and fixed, (put back together). 2
