Customer Reviews

Great wire for connecting LED strips Excellent product. Properly packaged for delivery. Easy handling for soldering LED strips. Definitely would buy again. 5Exactly what I needed. This was exactly what I needed and was as described and delivered on time5Just what I needed! This was exactly what I needed in connecting my LED strips at odd angles. With the colored wires it was simple to keep the polarity correct. Since there were no instructions it took me a bit of trial and error over 10 minutes to figure things out but in the end they made tight connections.4NOT 22AWG!I recently bought a real ul listed 22awg rgb wire and this one compared to it is a joke, the wire itself is not horrible (trust me there are far worse here on amazon), it does the job just fine and was my go to selection until I found out that the advertised gauge is not right therefore loosing my respect for the company and it's products. Specifically since the other product is about the same price.3Only complaint is one long section of wire had the ...Only complaint is one long section of wire had the insulation frayed from the wire. Maybe 6 inches. I ordered way more than I needed so a non issue but still... where is the quality check before you package.3Good Cable for Interconnecting RGB LED lights I have purchased hundreds-of-feet of this cable to use in on-stage production settings. This is a consistent reasonable-quality cable for interconnecting RGB LED tape-style lights. The only downside is that the roll arrives with twists in the cable that makes it very difficult to get it to lay flat on a surface. 5but you can remove the waterproofing fairly easily. (I put tension on the waterproof 'cover' by ...These seem to work fairly well for a non-soldered connections. I did find them to be somewhat fussy at times where I'd loose one or two colors completely until I tweaked the connections with some wiggling. Once it's in place and working, seems to no longer be an issue if it doesn't get jostled.I suggest when using these (or any splicer/connector), that when you cut the light strip you keep the fully exposed contact instead of cutting down the middle of the contacts. You end up wasting some of the LED strip since you are removing the contacts completely from the next section (~2 inches to get to the next contact section for what I had.) By leaving yourself with contacts that are 2X larger, you are afforded a significantly larger patch for "wiggle room" and therefore make installation quite a bit easier and less frustrating. You can swing it either way, just a lot easier/faster imo if you leave the extra contact space.I did use these on "waterproof" LED strip lights. They are naturally made for non-waterproof, but you can remove the waterproofing fairly easily. (I put tension on the waterproof 'cover' by folding the tape back on itself and then sliced the cover with a razor. Once it's cut down to the circuit tape, it peels off relatively easily. Need to be careful not to cut the circuit tape though or you may rip off a contact point when removing the waterproofing. Obviously not waterproof anymore at these joints either.)4Not much I can say about a bundle of wire except I'm satisfied with my purchase Exactly what I needed. Not much I can say about a bundle of wire except I'm satisfied with my purchase. Got my PC case lighting all wired up with no problems. 5Good affordable wireI had to build some prototypes at work that used bipolar stepper motors and needed some really long leads. The color code of these wires matches those of the stepper motors I was using so it made for a very tidy build.5Its a wire. What else to say?Seems like 20AWG, 18 at best but more like 20. Came in one, uninterrupted piece on all 4 conductors and its all I needed for its length for my project which has nothing to do with LED strips but a TDS meter for my RO membrane filter thats far away for it to work with stock 2 ft. wiring.5Useful productQuality cable, easy to work with. Don't expect it to be as heavy as a lamp cord or standard extension cord because it's not intended for 120v. I used this to jump between 4-wire 10mm Wide Waterproof Strip Lights mounted inside and on top of window valances. I had bought 10 jumpers with connectors on each end but they were too short for my need, so I lengthened them by cutting them in half and soldering in several inches of this. You can solder this directly to the light strips, but I wanted to be able to "unplug" the sections in the future.5Lifesaver, just a bit touchyThese connectors are a lifesaver when working with tiny solder pads on LED strips. I bought two of these packs, cut them in half, and used them to connect up 1200 addressable LEDs, in sections of 60 lights.Pointers:-Don't solder the pads first, if you do, you will get intermittent connection issues resulting from different heights of the pads-Push the pins down against the housing with a small screwdriver before inserting the LEDs, this makes sure that they are all as flat as possible and helps ensure the best connection-If you cut the LEDs off of a strip, chances are that the remaining half of the pads that you cut through aren't deep enough for this connector to seat all the way onto. Wording here is tricky, but essentially, I figured out that if you push the strip all the way into the connector until it stops, it sometimes wound up where the pins on the connector were too far forward on the LED strip to make contact with the pads. Simple fix, just pull the strip back out a millimeter or so to ensure that the lowest part of the pins makes contact with the pads. All in all, would highly recommend these connectors over trying to manually solder tiny wires onto tiny pads hundreds of times. Even if you are great with a soldering iron, it's just not worth the time for how little these connectors cost.4Worked perfect! This is exactly what I needed to attach my light strip, to the controller. I ran this line through the wall so I didn't have to deal with any wires. 5it workedI used it to extend a connection for my under cabinet lighting. I had to solder the wires to the connector. First time I've done that, and it seems to work fine. The lights are working. I only needed 5 feet, but this seems to be my cheapest option.5
