    Filter adapter doesn't fit the Canon SX530 HS I watched the video and carefully followed the direction for how to attach the filter adapter to my Canon SX530 HS. Both my husband and I (who is good with cameras) tried repeated times, but this filter adapter, although it fit on the camera, would not click into place to secure it. If I were to use this, it would simply fall off! The filter adapter sent was the RN-DC67A. On the box it says it replaces the canon FA-DC67A, and it also says on the back of the box that it is for the Canon PowerShot SX530 HS. It definitely is NOT! Buyer beware! 1Great lens set The set of 3 lenses with the adapter ring fits the Canon Powershot SX60 IS very well. It is great to have the adapter ring, giving the ability to use the variety of lenses on the camera. The included larger lens cover cap is nice because it is needed with the lenses attached to the camera. The included rubber lens shade works great for keeping the sun from shining into the lens. It has 3 different extensions: short, medium, and full extension, which makes it versatile. When pushed back to the shortest length, it helps to protect the lens. I'm excited to use these items with my new camera when I go to Canada later this year. 5Completely Satisfied!! This looked to be the best price on a basic UV filter. I bought two - one for the standard lens, and one for the zoom lens that I bought as a bundle with my Nikon D3300. The customer service from Goja has been great so far, the delivery was two days with my Prime, and the quality seems good. This is a great insurance policy against scratching or damaging an expensive investment. 5Basic lens filter First, let me state that this is a pretty inexpensive filter. A photographer can spend a substantial amount of cash and make a good argument to justify that expense. But I don't shoot for money anymore, I'm now retired and this is a hobby and I'm simply looking for lens protection with an optically clear filter that will not diminish the quality of my images. Without using some scientific optical measurements, this filter serves well.The lens filter arrived clean and secure in its plastic container. Optically, I see no distortion in either clarity or color. The lens appears to be multi coated and is securely held within the mounting ring. The threads are clean and well made and easily screwed onto my lens, feeling snug. The mounting ring is clearly identified and overall the filter appears to be well made.A bonus is the good quality cleaning cloth that Altura includes. This is the third product that I've bought with the Altura brand and I must say I like their products. 5Great product and rapid delivery. I bought this for my Canon SX530 and it fits perfectly. Your must first attach an adaptor ring onto the camera and then the filters, lens cap, etc. attach to the adaptor ring. Used the filters on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon an the resulting images are the best I've ever taken. Filters and cloth fit in a very nice and compact carrying case. Great product for the price. 5Doesn't fit Canon Powershot SX530 HS, as claimed Watched the video that shows how to attach the adapter. No problem. Got it attached. It simply falls off. Does not work. Just make sure that the ring that locks on to the front of the len make a pop or click sound so to stay in place. After that just leave it and change the cap to the bigger one they give you ( just make sure to keep the original cap in safe place as it only fits that model Canon and in case you want to go back to the original configuration). 5A Good Accessory Kit for the Canon SX530 I purchased this kit for the polarizing filter for a Canon SX530HS. It comes with a 67mm threaded adapter ring that can be tricky to install the first time. Don't force it. Just turn it and look at it. It will make sense. Or watch the YouTube video from the company. The ring sets securely in place when properly installed. It does not interfere with lens motion. As with all lens add-ons, you need to be aware of its effect on the picture. The additional filters will cast a shadow with the flash on close-in shots. It is better to stand further back and zoom in than to move closer in this case. It's also better for flash dispersion, in my opinion. Also, the lens hood must be folded to the correct length for the effective length of the lens or you will see it in the corners. Again, not a problem, just something the photographer needs to be aware of. Since the SX530 is a point and shoot camera, you won't see the problem until after the picture is taken. When adding on to a lens, always check the outcome before walking away from the shot. That's a good general practice, anyway.All in all, the kit is very handy and brings some nice features to to the SX530, especially the polarizing filter. The neutral filter also acts as a handy protection for the camera lens, but be aware of its potential to cast a shadow with close-in and macro shots. 5Essential Accessory Kit for Canon PowerShot saved the day I was disappointed to learn my new Canon SX60 camera would not allow a filter to be added and still be able to use the lens cap. I purchased the Essential Accessory Kit and was very pleased to find out that not only are there three very useful filters that come in a protective carrying case, and most importantly I installed the filter and hood and they supply their own lens cap. Although my Canon is classified as a low cost point-and-shoot, I wanted something for it. This filter kit came with UV, Circular Polarizer, and a ND4 filters, an adapter ring to adapt the filters to the camera's built-in lens, a lens cover that fit the 67mm filters, and a collapsible lens hood. Well worth the $35 cost. 5
