    Overpriced for one pair My mistake for not reading the product description carefully, just assumed that for the price you would get more than 1 pair. I was wrong. Should have gone to dollar tree. 1Worked Great I had never used these types of hooks before, but they worked great to hang up pinch pleat curtains. They went through the fabric easily, and they stayed in when moving and installing the curtains. 5Work fine -- if you get what you ordered I ordered four packs of Traverse Pleater Hooks and pleater tape for curtains to cover a very wide window. The first pack of hooks actually included the "pleat pincher disposed below the fingers" which worked great to hold the hooks in place. Unfortunately, the next three packs did NOT have the pleat pinchers as listed in the item description, so each time I tried to hang the curtains with 22 pleats on each side, half the pleat hooks would slip out of position, or fall out altogether before I could get them hung through the little plastic rings on the traverse rod. I finally had to baste each hook in place! to get them to stay so I could hang the curtains. What a waste of my time. 2Makes Ikea curtains look amazing These are awesome to make triple pleats in Ikea curtains. Not the easiest to figure out. I almost put them all on backwards. I watched a youtube tutorial of how someone put these on their Ikea Ritva curtains and how they looked better than the standard 2 prong hooks. Just lovely! 5- Glad I found them - Have some $$$ pricey $$$ ... Not many folks still have this type of drape. - Glad I found them - Have some $$$ pricey $$$ velour across a whole wall - approx 12/15 ft. window. These slip-on hooks really preserve the material and 'heading' on these old but very attractive draps. -- The product is easily inserted and holds the drape very well. Sturdy.- Which works well with these heavy drapes. - ckg 5They don't ruin or rip your curtains like some hooks can from not being made smooth I ordered these and didn't even really need them. So I kept them in the drawer. I have used this product before. The hooks are very simple to use and hold up the blackout thermal liners with ease. I'll keep these as extras because I'll have to use them in the future. I've had them for several months now and none have fallen off the curtains. They don't ruin or rip your curtains like some hooks can from not being made smooth. 5There are a number of different pleater hooks available with ... There are a number of different pleater hooks available with subtle differences, none of which are explained in the youtube tutorials. Some have the hook halfway up the pin, and some at the top. If you want the curtain to come very close to the top of the window opening, so that none of the rod is visible, you have to be very careful to place the pleater tape at just the right distance from the top of the curtain. I wish someone had explained that, so I would not have had to order 2 different kinds of hooks from 2 different companies and do my own experimenting. 4Hook is 1 inch down from top of clip I was hoping to match some of my existing clips, where the top of the hook part is even with the top of the clip. However, when I opened the package I discovered that the top of the hook is about 1 inch down from the top of the clip. It would be very helpful if the seller would add an image of an individual clip. 3They work fine The pleater hooks worked fine to pleat my drapes, however a few of them were broken when I opened the package and a few broke when I tried to use them. I would still recomment them as they are hard to find and work well and since I bought four packages I had plenty to complete the project even with a few unuseable ones. Just make sure to order 3-inch pleater tape. I could only find 3.5 inch pleater tape on Amazon and it was too wide for these hooks. I had to cut off 1/2 inch of the tape which meant a little extra work on my part, but the finished drapes look fabulous. 4Glad I got them...here is why I was really hesitant to get these as they are 1/4" shorter than the ones that I currently have. I gave it a try any way as the longer ones cost $3-4 for just 14 of them. But they worked fantastic. Easy to put on, sturdy quality, and thus far no rust which is a big since in Hawaii things tend to rust. You will save a lot of money if you get these in amazon. No local store that I found had this deal. Enjoy! 4
