Just What I Wanted We put two of these in a hallway and they are perfect for the space. Easy to install. They put off plenty of light for what we need. I'm very pleased with this purchase. 5Love the look but not the function I ordered the 3 light vanity fixture in galvanized for my bathroom. I love the look, however, i wish it had some holes in the top of each shade as I didn't realize how downwardly directed the light would be instead of filling the whole room with light. It's like standing in front of the mirror with three flashlights above me. Lots of shadows, which is fine in some areas but not great in a bathroom when that's the only light fixture in the room. Thank goodness I have a skylight for that extra light needed during the day! I will keep it but will try different bulbs to see if that helps. 3SO happy I chose this one!!! I am so happy I ended up buying this light fixture! I am one of those people who gets terrible fomo when making purchases, and I typically end up searching and searching worrying there is something better out there until I either get completely distracted and accidentally end up buying a bunch of clothes instead, or get frustrated enough with the process that I ll just pull the trigger on pretty much anything. This experience was no different. I have been needing a new overhead light for my small sewing room for a while now. My main concerns were if it would actually be bright enough to adequately light the space, and I also worried about the price since it costs SO much less than anything else I ve forgot in similar styles which seemed a bit sketchy. After scouring reviews, I found it could take up to a 60 watt bulb, but just couldn t get a good answer on how bright it would actually be. I m so happy I took a chance and just went for it! It brightly lights the whole 9x10 room, and I only have a 40 watt bulb in it (pictured). It is extremely lightweight, and has an unexpected texture on the top, but once it was mounted it didn t look cheap at all and you don t see the texture. This is the perfect (bright) farmhouse style light and was everything I was looking for!! 5Look great Fantastic looking light. Bought 4. 3 of them I had to take apart to get the porcelain ring off, that was the only downfall, just took more time. 5Awesome Farmhouse Style Lights These lights came the same day I ordered them (prime shipping)...I have installed a lot of light fixtures before and these were by far the easiest to install. They look nicer than they do online..they are more of a galvanized metal look, which I prefer for more of a farmhouse look. I put 2 in my hallway to replace 2 "boob" lights. I did put 2 regular bulbs in them instead of Edison bulbs because I wanted as much light as possible. I love them! 5Great Vanity Light Very happy with this light. Great quality for the price and it goes well with my farmhouse rustic vibe. The finish is more matte and less glossy than the picture suggests. 5Beautiful light! Guests love the look! This light was perfect for my guest bathroom. Easy installation and it looks great! I wasn't sure if the downward lighting would be good for looking in the mirror or lighting up the bathroom but it is. Lots of compliments on the light. Would recommend! 5Its a lightweight fixture. I like it. But with that said, my initial impression when I bought it is different than my impression after installing it.I installed this in my boat house and is somewhat exposed to the elements. It is clearly more of an INSIDE fixture. If you are installing it INSIDE, its great!However, for OUTSIDE use, I would hesitate. It is light weight and the connection holding the large reflecting dish to the fixture looks a little brittle. Its ceramic. I live in Florida and hurricane winds could pull that reflecting dish off. In retrospect, I wouldn't have bought this for outside use. Words like galvanized in the title led me to believe it was OK for outside use. But, in fairness, they do say "galvanized finish" so its really my fault for not processing that better. If it was a little more heavy duty, I would have given it 5 stars. 4Fits the rustic character we were seeking for This light fixture fits the rustic character we were looking for with our guest bathroom. One thing you should know is since the bulbs hang down, instead of out towards you (as the light fixture we replaced) the light bulbs may be at (or close to) eye-level and even may be reflecting on your mirror thus creating significant glare towards you at your vanity.Check your install heights to ensure you don't run into that issue. Bulbs hang approximately 7 inches below the top of where you will install the fixture. My wife's suggested fix was to replace the shades with some glass accent shades which will help dissipate the glare towards you. Only problem with that is it added another $50 to the price for the shades she selected.Overall, it's a nice light fixture especially if you don't have the light-bulb height issue. 4... remodel and we gets tons of comments about how great the light is Used this light fixture in our bathroom remodel and we gets tons of comments about how great the light is! Something different that you don't just find at Lowe's or Home Depot, which is exactly what I wanted! Gives great personality to a small/medium space. The light seemed dim with regular bulbs but once you go and get the LED lights, it as great! 5
