    Good shower head for the money, but can be difficult to install This shower head works quite well, although as others have mentioned, it is a bit tricky to install considering it must be oriented correctly for it to work as advertised. Getting it properly oriented and tight may take some trial and error with pipe tape (It does have a rubber washer unlike most shower heads). It is not as simple as just screwing it on. The restrictor plate has two tiny holes to slow down the water flow. It might be necessary to drill two additional holes to get the water up to a good flow. That will depend on your water pressure. Some have mentioned that this shower head is obnoxiously loud. I find it to be very quiet. I also haven't encountered leaks at any of the joints, although I've only been using it a few days. I am thoroughly satisfied so far, but can't attest to its longevity. I take one star off for being difficult to install, but consider it a good shower head for the money. Made in Taiwan. 4Failure in design...hex nut NOT INDEPENDENT of base! COPIED AND PASTED from another reviewer! Exactly what I found out!! Failure in design.This is great, until you actually screw it on. Then you realize the bean counters at Delta Faucet skimped on the design and instead of using a normal slip collar to attach it to the pipe, they used a FAUX COLLAR. What this means is that if your threading does not precisely line up with theirs, it will *not be straight when tightened*. See the video...it's a terrible design. The best solution is to keep it from leaking is to use way more teflon tape than you should...or better yet, never buy it to begin with! 1The best part of this shower head is that all the ... The best part of this shower head is that all the components are made of metal, not plastic, so it won't eventually break down and fall apart like the plastic ones do. My husband and I got it for our very small shower stall in our master bath. A conventional shower head did not allow enough room for my husband, who is 6'1", to fit under the head, or enough flexibility to turn the water off of me while I shave my legs, etc. The construction of this head, however, allows me to move it pretty much anywhere I want. The swing arm allows my husband to raise it enough for his height, and the swivel head allows me to put it to the side while I shave. The pressure and rainfall quality is fantastic. We've had it installed for about 4 months, and we love it. 5This is BY FAR the best inexpensive shower head you can buy This is BY FAR the best inexpensive shower head you can buy! When you remove the flow restrictor, it goes from a mere gentle rain to a tropical torrent! I bought one of these almost 10 years ago from a big-box store-- it finally developed a fatal leak and needed to be replaced. 10 years of moderately hard water will do that I guess. I could not find this item anywhere, and was so pleased to find it here on Amazon.One of the best features of this head is that you have an additional axis of adjustment. You can pivot the head turning it either left or right. I guess you could turn it and make it shoot straight up if you wanted, thought in most bathrooms that would be messy! Regardless, I utilize that feature each time I shower, reaching up and shifting the head to one side slightly while I lather, then back again to rinse and enjoy that glorious volume of water.I will be buying several of these for each bathroom and to just keep as spares. For about $25---- Just BUY IT!! 5Best shower head ever! I removed the flow restrictor before trying so I can't speak to how it was with it in. Without it, this shower head is awesome! A wonderful spread of Rain! I have another shower head just like this (no-name brand) that I bought like 15 years ago that I loved so I looked for the same style when I found this one. This is even better than my other one. The spread of "rain" is perfect, shoulder to shoulder, where as my other one is a narrower spread. No weird noise as other reviewers have said. No problem lining it up vertical. If you have to put a couple extra wraps of plumbers tape, so what. I've tried other larger diameter "rain" heads and they don't compare. don't let the diameter fool you, it still spreads the water perfectly. It was a bit difficult to remove the restrictor. It doesn't just pop out or unscrew like other shower heads I've had. I tried screwing a screw a couple of turns and then pulling on the screw with pliers with no success. I ended up having to use an x-acto knife and cut the center of it out. Aside from that, it's awesome. I am definitely buying another one to replace my older one in the guest bathroom. 5I cannot even find the the words To begin, this shower head has brought a new level of comfort and serenity to bathing. I have had about ten different shower heads over the same number of years. I have also tried out several 'rain' type shower heads from various travels. I could never quite get used to the typical rainfall shower head because of the lack of pressure and the feeling of scrounging for water to rinse off. This one hits the nail square on the head. It has perfect pressure, enough adjustment, and feels like you are in a rain storm. It is not often that I find such a product that is utterly perfect in what it should do and claims it can. I would recommend this shower head to anyone who wants to try the rainfall types. The price is reasonable so just go for it. You won't be disappointed if you do. 5Great rainfall shower... I love the showerhead. Another quality product by Delta. I am replacing another extension showerarm which started leaking Razor 15-inch Arch Design Adjustable Shower Extension Arm With Stainless Steel Profile. I have a walk in tub so that it is important for my shower head to extend out from the wall so that it does not shower the "head" of the tub which has a panel and faucets. While I love the product and expedient delivery, I did advice Amazon that the description is not quite accurate. This product was almost unusable to me because I needed at least a 12 inch extension and this product arm is only 8 inches (see picture). However, because I can angle the head, I was able to make it work. 5REMOVE WATER REGULATOR THAT MAKES IT LOUD, then you'll have a perfect shower head! REMOVE THE WATER PRESSURE REGULATOR OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED THAT IS LOCATED IN THE PART THE SCREWS ONTO THE PIPE COMING OUT OF THE WALL. My god what a difference it makes. It obviously regulates the water pressure but it makes the most obnoxious noise!!! I would say it's pretty equivalent to a squealing tea pot. I had read from another reviewer when I purchased it to do it but I just put it on without a care and I guess just put up with it. Then I had to clean the head about a year later with vinegar so I took it off and popped it out and my goodness...IT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. It's still got that nice rain shower feel just without the squeal. Now it's quiet and peaceful, just the way a rain shower should be if you ask me.Other than that, great product. Built well. Has lasted over a year which is nothing to brag about but with the state of most products you buy these days I guess that's good.Looks really nice. 4Like a firehose from God I step into my shower, and it's like I've just taken a drink from the Angels Only water fountain. Dirt and sweat don't stand a chance in this wonderland of cleanliness! I removed the water limiter and almost drowned. I actually put the limiter back in because I ran out of hot water too quickly. Now it's perfect! I only wish I needed to be in the shower for more things.You know that it swivels up and down to suit almost any height, but it also swivels left and right at the head. I haven't moved mine since I put it in, but if you wanted to, you could. 5Search for the Holy Grail of Shower Heads is Over! I am a shower head snob. There, I've said it. I owned dozens in search for the holy grail. I found it.....We found this shower head in Daytona Beach at a four star hotel (The Shores) and fell in love with it. I called the front desk and asked engineering who made it. Once I located the same exact shower head on Amazon I bought it. Via matching pics, I immediately ordered. I took out the water saver (as had been suggested) and it is identical to the one at the hotel! For a small head (about 4" across) the water spray is quite wide. Also, the water comes out strong (not too hard) but almost exactly like a rain shower...meaning it is a random spray that seems to oscillate quickly while covering your whole body. No part of your body is neglected. The fitting are heavy brass and it tightened up easily. Very very satisfied. You will be too. The fact that it's pretty cheap is another bonus. Enjoy!! 5
